I do love this tractor! I have one. The first time I detached the back hoe, I could NOT get the hydraulics reconnected. Took me awhile to figure that I had left the back hoe in the hot sun, which pressurized the hydraulics to the point it would not reconnect! TIP: Do not leave the back hoe in the sun, or wait for the back hoe to cool down! I love this tractor! Oh I said that already...
You need to get yourself the “Waite” hydraulic decompression tool!! I know what you mean - great tractor! Love my Kubota gear!!! Thanks for dropping by!!
Actually parking it in the sun isn’t gonna make that big a difference when connecting the lines, what you’re supposed to do while the machine is off! and prior! to reconnecting the lines is to move the joysticks around to release the pressure (again machine OFF!) and then reconnect the lines… you prob had it in the shade and tried it again later and it prob did work but it wasn’t from cooling down.. it was from a small amount of pressure being released thru time, while what you thought was cooling down.
@@keithbeck5932Umm duh. machine was OFF!. Temp was the issue. All good, no problems now, since temp caused increase pressure in the lines. Been perfect since then. Just a newbie issue who already knew that the machines should be OFF when un/plugging high pressure lines. Relax! DUH
I've been looking at tractors for a long while trying to decide which brand and which category. Your video gave me the information and confidence that the Kubota BX23S is the tractor I will purchase. Thank you for sharing and your conscientious review of the numerous features on the BX23S. 👍
This video is the best description of this particular Kubota model that I've seen. Simple, complete easy to follow. Appreciate the share. I've been shopping for 2 years on all manufacturers. Today's video has help me to decide on Kubota BX23s. Again thanks.👍👊
This is the best video I have ever seen on the BX23S iI have the -1 and learned something new about the seat which makes it so much easier to turn so thank you.
LOL John!! Never hurts to be a dreamer!! There’s so much amazing Kubota equipment I’d love to demo on our property - maybe that would be a good place to start!
Okay all Funning aside Outstanding Video ! 👏👏👍👍 Dealer was excellent in demonstrating everything! Video should perform well for you Thanks for sharing and Great Job !
Very interested to buy this tractor. Perfect for my home. Planning starting myself as small homesteading farmer. Need this tractor so badly. Need good drills to building fances, chicken coops etc also Need grass motor everything for garden. All parts I need to building garden. Maybe come visit! This spring. Or summer. Might look at financing monthly for it. Thanks
Long video... but great explanations and covers most everything you'd need to know to get to operating. I know there are roof canopy options, but is there any cab options? Maybe just 3 sided to block some wind for snow blowing?
Extremely good overview! This is perfect! One thing to mention. The new front grill is poorly designed and will rip off the hood emblem! So watch out for anyone purchasing this model year of the awesome BX23s!
I know for a fact that Kubota loves this kind of feedback from their dedicated customers. If there’s an issue it will be fixed in the next version of the BX TLB.
That's great that they love feedback. You know what would be even better? If they actually did use testing to find these problems instead of using customers as their beta testers. My hood ornament is sitting on my desk as a result of this.@@KillingItCountry
This unit doesn’t come with rear remotes so you wouldn’t be able to use hydraulic attachments even if they were Kubota lol. There are some work around solutions online to modify the backhoe hydraulics to run remotes.
Don’t feel bad brother!! I’m no better. This summer has been an uphill battle for me and I hope to eventually explain that in one of my upcoming videos. Take care my friend!!

Great video with tons of info and knowledge.
This looks like a great tractor. I think you are right, you covered everything anyone would need to know
It’s definitely a great tractor! Maybe I should start to think about upgrading??
yeah they are town and cities uses them on sidewalks instead spending $290,000 on a holder the kubota bxs saves them tons of money and easy on budget
That’s what it’s all about! Sips fuel too!!!

🤯 awesome!!! Best of luck!
Excellent tutorial!! My brand new BX23S just arrived and after watching your video I can spend more time playing and less time reading. Yahoo🤠
Yay!!! Congratulations!
@@KillingItCountry Thank you!
Excellent video. Learned a few things. Thank you.
This is the best video I have ever seen on the BX23S iI have the -1 and learned something new about the seat which makes it so much easier to turn so thank you.
Thanks so much for that! It’s easy to be passionate and turn out a good video when you’re working with great equipment and people!! Cheers!!
Yep i also learned a couple more things too. Good video.
Beautiful machine. Without larger wheels on the back I can't use it. Great for doing gardening
I can assure you there are thousands of us who use our BX’s to do a lot more than gardening.
Thank You very much for all this info. I recently purchased a BX 23S and I love operating it. It’s very intuitive.
You’re welcome!! Enjoy your new machine!!
Thanks for sharing very detailed this will get a lot if views
Thank you for watching!
Use a section of composite deck with a bevel to save the bucket. Works great on asphalt for snow removal.
Great tip! I run a front mount blower on my gravel driveway!
I use the composite with my work BX23S for the parking lots. For my home BX23S I use the bolt on edge guides for my gravel drive.
@AmericasTeamAdventure that’s a great idea!!
Great review James , he did a great job going over every inch of the BX23S and doing the demo’s. Have a great one James 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
You too Luc … thanks for tuning in! I’ve certainly got some catching up to do with your videos. It’s been one hell of a summer.
@@KillingItCountry No kidding, hope your Dad is getting better 👍🏻
Well done video… this is the video Kubota should publish themselves!
For sure!!
Great video guys!
Thanks!!!
Love mine. Stewarts was great to deal with. Excellent crew there.
They sure are!! Thanks for watching!
Best purchase i ever made bx23s ,im now starting to collect all of its attachments.
MIGHTY LITTLE TRACTOR🇨🇦✅️
So nice James, I hope they have you one!!!

It’s been a brutal summer Dave … will explain in a future video. Great to hear from you!!
Best video out there
Thank you sir!!
James! I had no idea the seat reclined or flipped up that like. Thanks so much for this video, as I learned a few things.
Cheers.
YES!! 🙌 awesome - that should make operating the backhoe, a little less awkward haha!!
Nice to see CANADA being represented.🤓😎

Very nice video, BX2380 here, 2021.
Thank you! I thoroughly enjoy my BX!!

Very good video
Thankyou!! I hope it helps you in some way!
Salesman was excellent. Sold me on this tractor, over the new holland workmaster
You made a great choice!
Very helpful. Thank you!
You’re very welcome!

Hey, thanks for watching. Check out Curtis cabs!!
I want that tractor!!!
Great video, except for how frequently you started and stopped the tractor. You're killing me 😂
It’s true - the worst thing you can do to a diesel is start it. Thanks for watching!

I see a concern about using other equipment hydraulic attachments , other then Kubota ?
This unit doesn’t come with rear remotes so you wouldn’t be able to use hydraulic attachments even if they were Kubota lol. There are some work around solutions online to modify the backhoe hydraulics to run remotes.
Dude is sweating on your tractor 😂
It’s Kyle’s debut on UA-cam - cut him some slack 😂
Is this all BX23S TLD's or just the most recent years config?
Which feature has peaked your interest? There are subtle differences over the years. I have the BX25D.
What is a bx25d
It’s the model before the BX23S. They stopped making the BX25D in 2016.
What year model is this tractor.
Hello! This is a 2023.
@KillingItCountry btw, great demonstration video. My son and I just purchased a 2024 BX23s and I was wondering what is the difference in the models.
Good morning James.
My apologies. I have really fallen behind in watching videos.
Don’t feel bad brother!! I’m no better. This summer has been an uphill battle for me and I hope to eventually explain that in one of my upcoming videos. Take care my friend!!
@@KillingItCountry thanks James.
I really value my you tube family and don’t want to lose the connection.
The camera person kept not showing the talking guys hands. The "bucket level sticker" seems like a stretch lol
Sorry about that!!
great camera work, if your aiming to not film the important part.
I think you mean “you’re” … have a nice day champ!
@@KillingItCountry if you concentrated on camera half as much as spelling you'd be ok.
Male.female, couplers??? What about trans couplers ? L.g.p.t.m.s.+ bi-curious couplers ?? Dang ,I am confusitated. Guess I have to sell my tractor !!!
Single cylinder for the bucket. Beware!
Have you had a failure with a single cylinder set-up? My BX25D has a single cylinder and it’s been flawless!
Friend had a kioti with a single cylinder and the torque broke the bucket support s.
Need someone with better camera skills. Many times the picture doesn't show what's being described.
Otherwise it's thorough.
I’ll hire someone straight away 😂
@KillingItCountry Maybe you just need a little coaching? I wasn't actually trying to dis you, but hoping to point out a possible impovement.
I was just playing too. I love all constructive criticism! Thanks for watching 🙏
That bothered me too. The narrating is excellent but the camera would be pointing up a little too high to see what being narrated.
@philerrup9948 doing my best - I’m not a professional camera man. Thanks for your feedback!
Good narrator bad photographer
Thanks for watching!!
