Thank you. Video was very helpful. It's a great stand. Sturdy. Easy to raise and lower and move around. Extension arms are not that sturdy, like all of them, but I just put adjustable roller stands underneath them when working with long, heavy pieces of wood or composite decking. Solves that problem. Bought the Hercules one from Harbor Freight first but it was useless if you wanted to move it from place to place. The legs are flimsy and lifting it to collapse the legs to lower it onto the wheels is back breaking if a saw is mounted to it. It's fine if you just want to leave it on place forever but not to move frequently.
Best investment I made after doing one of the bedroom floors in bamboo. Bought the Mitre saw stand and did the last two bedroom floors in the time it took to do one... plus my back and knees weren't wrecked! Great video Kevin!
If you set it up AND IT WONT CLOSE SWAP THE 2 CABLE POSITIONS ON THE TRIGGER!!! It has more throw on the top position which needs to go to the spring to bring the slide back for release to be able to lower it. I just got it and assembled yesterday out of box brand new and it had this issue. Works perfectly now
Ad Vanced, my wife purchased this stand about a week ago and after I assembled it I had this exact issue, darn thing wouldn't close! I got frustrated, so I just wheeled it into the garage intending to troubleshoot and watch some videos to see if anyone else had the same problem. Unfortunately, my lovely wife(impatient angel that she is, lol) started adjusting , tightening, loosening all kinds of things that had ZERO to do with our initial issue so...lol
Eggcellent vid. One lil addition tho. Im a big /huge fan of blue Loctite 242(Henkle). I use it on nearly everything. Absolutely stuff that vibrates. Wave washers or lock washers are ok but the 242 lets you get a good snug tight without the need to kill it. Also love nylock nuts wherever possible. Build it once 4ever. Lol 🤔🤔 do i hear a bit of a Pennsylvania accent? Got lotsa fam there, make me lil homesick. Anyway four thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 oh! Also so awesome being able to wheel around up or down WITH the saw mounted. Two more 👍🏻👍🏻
You should include that those long bars are different sizes. We put in the smaller ones in the larger hole so then had to crawl under with headlamps to find the hole underneath where you have to find the catch and push it in to release the bar. It can be done and it's not impossible but better to know ahead of time to put each bar in the correct hole. Otherwise great video. Thank you!
Idk what’s going on with mine. First one wouldn’t collapse. Took it back to HomeDepot for a replacement. Just finished putting together the replacement. It won’t collapse either. Also, had a heck of a time raising both too. There is no clicking sound when the red lever is engage. The tools manager at HomeDepot couldn’t collapse it either. Getting frustrated for sure. 🤬

@@deanrivera8016 I took mine back and bought a cheaper one at harbor freight. I like it a lot. It has legs and wheels...doesn't collapse like the dewalt but the dewalt just about killed me.
@@Robinson-Homestead lol...no big deal. I mounted it per the ,manual but the extension arms aren't under the saw "table" very well. So I reversed it like yours! I haven't lowered it to see if it stands up vertical ok yet in that position...mine is stuck and the POS cable release doesn't release and allow it to lower lower.
@@Robinson-Homestead i watched all the videos and switched the cables. I still could not get the saw to close. I disassembled the stand and returned it to home depot. Thank you for your help.
I've heard some mixed reviews on this stand. Is it still holding up OK? I have the Dewalt stand for my Dewalt Table Saw and it's wonderful. I'm not sure why this one got so many poor reviews. Been alternatively looking at Ridgid and another brand as well.
@@Robinson-Homestead thanks! I just watched another review where it says the outrigger supports deflect down quite a bit with anything than super light lumber. Have you found this?
The Toughbuilt is hands down superior to the Dewalt stand. I opted for the Delta and was going to return it for the Toughbuilt, but the Delta is solid enough to not deal w the hassle.
I have this stand. I like the wheels and pneumatic raise/lower feature which makes it portable but, let’s be honest… when it comes to actually using it for it’s intended purpose (cutting board) the outriggers are complete trash. I’m sorry I bought this.
Nice video! I have 2 of these stands and love them. I uploaded a video for the table that I made for mine so that I have a work surface. Check it out if you have a minute and let me know what you think.
A 10 on instruction. Wish more were like you!
Thank you so much i appreciatr you watching.
Coming from a teacher, you are excellent with giving instructions.
Wow, thank you!

Great space saver, definitely have to pick up that combo after my son in law hijacked my other come set 🤣🤣💪💪
Yeah it is nice being able to fold it up and store it away when not in use, thanks for watching.

Always handy to have stuff on wheels. Looks like a good unit, thanks for sharing. Be well my friend.
Just bought DWS780 and I'm now sold on this wheeled stand. I'll check out the link. Thank you!
You will love it makes it easy to move around thanks for watching.
Great vid! Thanks for taking the time to make it.

Very good instructions on how to put it together. Thank you.
Thank you.
Well done

very thorough, ty good video

Loved your vd with good instructions.
Thank you.
That what I need, looks like a great table! Thanks for the review Ken! ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
The table is working out great Mark.
I really like that saw stand. I use the one that came with the saw and it works, but it doesn't have wheels or wings to hold long boards.
Good review.
This one seems to be working out not hard on the back.
Thank you, this is very helpful. cheers 🍻
Your welcome and thanks for watching.
That’s a nice looking setup.
Kevin, I have the same stand.. I love my setup.. and my dewalt miter saw has a bright LED that shows you the cut line on either side of the blade...
I'm going to look into the led light.

Can you store the saw on the stand in the upright position?
I don't think your supposed to but I do.
Thanks for the comment.

i prefer the ridged. bigger wheels handle better on the job site .
I bet that is nice.
What is the measurement from outside to outside of the wheels? Wondering if it would fit on the ramp going into my Uhaul truck? Great vid by the way.
Not sure i will have to check
Nice saw table. Gonna make it easier on you.
For sure on the back.
Nooice!
Thanks for the comment.
I notice you mount your saw on the opposite side the manual shows. Did you do that on purpose?
No I didn't I did that sorry.

I mounted the same way you did to better align the support arms. When lowering the unit are you lifting first, then depressing the release lever.
Will this stand work on all 12 dewalt miter saws?
I think so it's adjustable.
I think there is something wrong with mine. I can't get it to go back down. I also am not sure if it is all the way up.
Is the cable working properly?

Check the cable make sure it's routed right.

Thanks but you didn’t show how it folds up and what it looks like in a vertical position for storage.
Sorry about that i will do another video on it .
I've had that stand for a few years with a dws779. The stand is meh. The extensions are a total waste of time, money and effort.
I think for a scissors-type like the Dewalt, I'd rather have the Toughbuilt. For a convention type, I'd rather have the Harbor Freight Hercules.
The Toughbuilt is hands down superior to the Dewalt stand.
