I own the DeWalt DWX726 stand and like it, but it isn't even CLOSE to the $720 Bosch folding portable miter saw stand I viewed at a showroom. But I won't spend $720 for a miter saw stand, either! I also won't buy a Saw Stop table saw, or a $2400 16" band saw!!! I didn't buy a DeWalt miter saw after my DeWalt was stolen. Too much money for a tool with too many things I didn't like!

Sorry about the tools being stolen had the same thing happen last Labour Day took me till Christmas to feel I had everyting back to normal .
The Saw Stop is a great idea but the lobbying the company does to get the the Saw Stop to be the end all end all is to much .In all the shops I've worked never seen a person cut there hand or fingers on a table saw yes DIYers with no experince are the ones going to the emergency room I have a video on basic table saw safety here .ua-cam.com/video/QinJ21K7Shg/v-deo.html
      Thanks for your comment

Could you tell me what the wheel base is (measured from outside wheel to outside wheel)? I'm planning on getting one of these for my DW735X planer (92 lbs. light), because the DeWalt DW7350 cart I have it on doesn't do stairs well, and doesn't have extension arms which I'm assuming would come in handy for longet pieces. But given it's weight, I'm concerned about it all tipping over when moving it. Thanks.

No the 2 stands are not the same at all .I've down basement stairs in Condo elevators all while the saw is attached works really well .
The stand is recommended for the Dewalt planner [but double check] I think the saw is heavier should not be a problem , only problem is being a little bouncey .
As for the size not sure .
      Thanks for watching good question
