Жёсткий чел, круто играешь)
El Capistan is also an essential ingredient of the Khruangbin sound.
It’s all about you’re playing, cool style thanks!
Very interesting playing.
gorgeous playing!
1:56 I thought you were going to break into Blind Melon right there for a sec!
your playing is heavenly
Do I spot a bit of Boards of Canada there? ;)
ehi bill beisell...bellissimo sono e bellissimo brano.bravissimo naturalmente
Very nice video. Not by any means saying, that the strymon is the inferior choice, but you're actually probably doing it a favour, in regards to this comparison, by running it through the pre-amp on the re-201. The echo's are sounding so close to each other, it's amazing. I would be very interested in a comparison of the inbuilt spring reverbs in each unit. Currently i'm trying to decide whether to buy an El-cap or a real re-201 at many times the price. The strymon would be the rational, practical, value-oriented choice. The Roland is just magical. How would you compare the two spring reverbs? :) Thanks! Great playing
As a former RE-201 owner (which is a great unit) I now own an el Capistan (which next to the DECO is Strymon's best pedal pair) with a tiny EP Boost pedal next to it. Perfection - and I never play without the EP Boost engaged.. The pre-amp of the Roland, Binson, etc are a lovely but a bit overrated in that you can duplicate this feeling EXACTLY. Vintage gear is great but fragile and there really is no need anymore. (and my Roland RE-201 was MINT. It looked and smelled great, but at the end of the day it was duplicatable, perfectly with modern solutions.)
What did you end up buying ? As I’m at that crossroads now
Yeah, what are you buy?
