You know, the sad part is that we may not even know if Tsumugi was truly the mastermind or if she was brainwashed into being the mastermind (the fact she's the mastermind with the least direct control over their killing game is very telling).
I may add that as I kept thinking about it ever since I finished the game I kept going back to a little tidbit about the last trial: *spoilers ahead* In the last trial before Shuichi's "refusing to vote" gambit, they are almost tricked into sacrificing two people so the others would survive,or so the Mastermind claims. Shuichi grabs on to this and realizes that Rantaro didn't wish to re-enter the Killing game, he sacrificed himself and his punishment is his re-entry into the new killing game. So, Shuichi more or less concludes that a similar situation happened in the previous killing game. So, I kept thinking, doesn't this means there's one sacrificed character unaccounted for? There was this obvious intent for there to be two sacrifices, so if one of them becomes the "Ultimate Survivor", what happens to the other one? Does he becomes the Mastermind? Is this what happened to Tsumugi and all her ideas about "running Danganronpa for 53 seasons" are just implanted memories? I mean, there's no fucking way someone in their teens ran 53 seasons, even if you were to run four consecutive cours per year you'd need over fourteen years to amass that number of broadcasted shows. Tsumugi would have to be over thirty AT LEAST which doesn't mesh with what we saw of her (and Tsumugi's regular look is heavily hinted to be her real one so we can discount her actually looking older but not showing us)
I love it so much. I don’t get why people hate the dubs and discriminate others for playing it in dub. The voice actors did so great for V3, they held so much emotion in these voices. They really did a great job for V3

It took me all this time realize Rantaro is voiced by Johnny Young Bosch. Compared to his role in Super Danganropa 2, Johnny got shafted this time around.
I just finished Super dangan island and about to watch the prologue for V3. Pretty excited to see what will happen in this game. Can't wait to get my heart broken several times
