      I’ll see you at the Killyhevlin for the Irish Fly Fair I’m also tying at the event. If you remember I gave you a couple of Irish May Flies at the BFFI last February.

    Another perfectly executed fly nice one.
    Barry and subscribers Im looking for the recipe for a dry sedge pattern...called The Angel...any takers ?...I've looked high and low...was given one in lapland in the summer....really great results....Help !.🎉

      Hi Thanks. Sorry but I have never heard of this fly, I have even searched in Norwegian and Swedish and found nothing!

    Hi,thx for your great videos.Very educating. Question for this pattern : Does the tail have to be a CDC feather ? I mean they are quite expensive around here and just for cutting it to pieces ? Would any other featherstem do the trick ?thx in advance, Michael

      Hi Michael, yes you can use any cock hackle for the body instead of CDC.

    good morning Barry as a subscriber to your channel and an owner of your first book which is probably the best fly tying book out there btw ,i am cutting my teeth on buzzers to get me into this amazing hobby is there a uv resin and torch you would recommend for me please i am living in nottingham, uk and there are not many fly tying shops about ,many thanks for sharing keep up the amazing work and a happy new year to you all the best for 2024.

      Hi Clive, Thanks. I use Belfor UV resin and a Veniard UV torch both are available from Veniard in the UK.

    how long does the CDC and tail last after one or more fish strike it ? thanks for the pattern Barry. tight lines.

      As I said in the video, I've only used it this year! But I have had no problems with it at all. Try and break a CDC hackle, it's not that easy!!
