I’ll see you at the Killyhevlin for the Irish Fly Fair I’m also tying at the event. If you remember I gave you a couple of Irish May Flies at the BFFI last February.
Another perfectly executed fly nice one. Barry and subscribers Im looking for the recipe for a dry sedge pattern...called The Angel...any takers ?...I've looked high and low...was given one in lapland in the summer....really great results....Help !.🎉
Hi,thx for your great videos.Very educating. Question for this pattern : Does the tail have to be a CDC feather ? I mean they are quite expensive around here and just for cutting it to pieces ? Would any other featherstem do the trick ?thx in advance, Michael

Hi Michael, yes you can use any cock hackle for the body instead of CDC.
Thank you very much for your quick answer
💪
Thanks.

Clive.
Hi Clive, Thanks. I use Belfor UV resin and a Veniard UV torch both are available from Veniard in the UK.
@@Thefeatherbender good morning Barry many thanks for the reply I will have a look .
Great tie, nice and buggy. How durable is it?
Thanks, it's remarkably durable!
how long does the CDC and tail last after one or more fish strike it ? thanks for the pattern Barry. tight lines.
As I said in the video, I've only used it this year! But I have had no problems with it at all. Try and break a CDC hackle, it's not that easy!!
Thanks Barry another great video more please George in Stoke 🎣🪰
Thanks George.
