Hello Barry, I watched this Tutorial back again today, and it is Simply Fabulous 🎉 It’s My New Favorite CRACKIN’ pattern!! I’ve dubbed it the “ Crackin’ - U “ Nymph !!!!!! Cheers Brother !!!!!!!!!!! 🌟🎣💫
Thanks Tyler, yes my techniques book came out in Japanese last year and C&F liked it so much that they sent me everything that they make for fly tying and I'm very pleased with it.
LOL I tie these in all sorts of color combo's some with "humpy heads" , just a drop of clear lacquer over the seal coat on head and then two drops in eye position. Works pretty well in faster water.
Grazie Enzo! Yes, my techniques book came out last year in Japanese and C&F liked it so much that they sent me everything that they make for fly tying, and I'm very pleased with it.
@@Thefeatherbender Barry. Marc Petitjean will be in a state of shock. I'd love a report on the C&F hackle pliers. My Tiemco HPs don't hang on as certainly as I'd like, despite their modification with sandpaper grips (as per your suggestion). When HPs let go after five perfectly placed turns on a parachute post, I sigh mightily. At such times I should swear - but I don't.
@@puccini4530 Hi John, well, my book was published in Japanese last year and C&F liked it so much that they sent me the vice and tools and I'm very happy with them. The hackle pliers are Wonderfull, two different sizes, so I can recommend them highly.
Great tye, Barry, Thanks for being here for us to learn something new every time.
Thank you.
Superb as usual! Will tie a few up for opening day down under in NZ. Kindest regards.

Good to speak to you again at the GAC open weekend.
Great wee pattern, can this be tied without the lead?
Yes of course Eddie, good seeing you.
Fantastic as always Barry. Can i ask what type of bobbin holder you are using?
Thanks Bob, I'm using the C&F bobbin holder and I'm very pleased with it!
The big three (Hare, PT, and Peacock) very nice BOC. Looks like you transitioned from Petitjean to C&F Reference vise.
