Using the chair to help build up strength is a great idea, particularly for the thinner holds. Beth Rodden is one of the world’s finest female climbers, so don’t feel bad if she makes hanging from tiny holds and doing pull-ups look easy. She is the first and only woman to redpoint a 5.14c, which is an Olympics-level of climbing.
I have a old 30 YO model that was my dad's, I set it up and still works great! Idk what model it is though, any ideas or lists of old models? It looks like the project board but it is straight
Hi I'm a basketball player and I'm just looking to strengthen my shoulders, elbows, and mainly fingers in Hopes to prevent jammed fingers. Any suggestions? Thanks!
For shoulders and elbows I would recommend our Rock Rings www.metoliusclimbing.com/rock_rings.html. There is not really any device (other than taping) or exercise I know of to prevent jamming fingers but our Grip Saver is specifically designed to strengthen fingers and help recover from injuries www.metoliusclimbing.com/grip_saver_plus.html. Hope that helps.
It looks so easy when she does the pull-ups, but for a beginner it's pretty hard :) Great tutorial!

Back then we made two boards, the original Simulator and a more compact board called the Pure Force, I'm guessing that is what you have.
