@@YTRattle I have no idea, one day I tried to log in but my password was changed, they even changed my email without my knowledge! As I said in another comment, I always used codes. I had Amira Turtlehill since I started playing sso, since I got to test the game in 2010 and had it up to 2016, I even gave 3 potential phone numbers that could've been used to buy star coins and they demand proof of lifetime payment! Like video proof isn't enough?!

Now I’m scared of logging on and seeing all my horses gone… This is not the players fault and SSO needs to do something about it. It’s not fair and it’s pushing players away. Thankfully, my game has never been too buggy (touch wood) but I feel really sorry for those who’s games have. There is nothing we can do about the bugs! I’m glad more and more people are addressing the less than acceptable standards of the customer service.
♥♥ SO well said! It boils my blood when they shove the responsibility of their customer service onto the players. It's THEIR game, THEY need to fix it! And pretending that we're at fault only alienates their players further. It's, like you said, unacceptable!
@@YTRattle I'm a bit nervous, because my game has ALWAYS been buggy, I've always had the newest bugs, I don't know why, but I'm scared of logging on and seeing everything gone. I would have to leave my club (Which is the only reason I play sso) and then quit the game all together, I've wasted money on that game.
Im scared too im still new to the game i play for 4 months on a acc( i played before as child) i now have 8 horses and im afraid of hackers and bugs...
the game is at the worst state it has ever been in, players are rapidly quitting, and sso wants to continue for at least 10 years like this? if i weren’t so upset about this whole thing, it’d be comical.
filippa! I know EXACTLY how you feel. The game is becoming so broken and buggy at this point, and they think, in the state it's in, they can keep going for another ten years? IDK in what fantasy land they're living in, but I'd like to go and stay there for a bit. It seems nice.
i miss the old team, the people who worked with this game in 2012-2015 were amazing, really helpful, you’d often see game masters online, they listened and gave us everything we wanted
Ok this is so wrong and is honestly bordering on a legal problem, refusing to cancel someone’s subscription is cramming them out of their money and if they don’t buck up their ideas soon someone could seriously sue them over continuing the withdrawals from their account even when asked not to. This is so wrong on so many levels, what happened to this fun game full of a sense of community?
The only time I've seen Sso fix a bug is when it involves free shillings

It's horrific what greed can do to someone, u would think that all the money they recieve on a daily basis they would use it to improve their tech and game all together but no. I feel sorry for all the people who keep begging for more double star coins on their instagram pages, people are downright oblivious and it's these kind of people they focus on.
they have said that their technology is embarrassingly old as well as the game engine, you’d think they use the money to maybe upgrade the game but i think the higher ups just want a salary
I am sorry for their employees. They are the only people who care. But any effort they put into improving this game (basically what we are asking for for ages) gets shoved under table if it doesn't draw instant revenue in return. Or things that were originally meant to be free got a price tag placed on it. Also the devs are forced to work with awfuly outdated tech dept. Just imagine how frustrating it has to be. I did the math. They ARE loaded. 500000 active players every month... buying loads and loads of starcoins every month... go ahead and multiply. There's just no excuse for any of this...
They try to make changes but people always hate on everything thing the do

Oh my god yess I'm not the only one who noticed! They're either completely smooth or they have weird vertical stripes, it's ugly as hell idk wtf they did with those trees but it shouldn't be legal lol
@@juliee593 Also the tree trunks of some of the darker colored trees in Silverglade are completely messed up. The textures drag out and the trunk looks like a tube. 🤣🤣🤣 Just take a look at Apple Grove.
I would like to share a story that took place years ago. It was during the period when the first Irish cobs were released. I wanted to buy one, but didn't have enough SC. You can imagine how shocked I was when after logging in I saw my character sitting on an Irish cob. However, it was not my character. I saw a completely different nickname in the upper left corner. For 100% I logged in with my email and password. I freaked out and immediately logged out. Logging in again gave me correct account and I didn't have this kind of situation again. I could have ruined someone else's account that day. Take advantage of this weird bug. But that player was lucky that I wasn't a mean kid taking joy from ruining other people's property. I reported it and received 100 SC in return. So yeah, it's not always the fault of player who definitely shared the password.

That is soooo weird
i love how most of their players are in their 20s and understand how a game should function and operate, and its especially more entertaining when their players are animators themselves and actually give them instruction on how to fix these problems, like hello messing with a kid that isn't in college studying how to properly rig/block and animation is one thing, its a whole other thing when your messing with someone that knows exactly how to make this shit and do it better. - you know what I paid the lifetime membership, been playing for 4 weeks and I'm about to unlock epona and I keep asking them to fix their rigs on their insta posts so can we all just spam #fixyourgamesso and #sossso?
Actually I’ve had all my horses disappear on me twice before. I don’t share my password ever. And sso told me TWICE “You need to change your password” and that’s all. And I never got my star coins or my horses back. They didn’t care (luckily I had like 6 horses or 9 horse at those times) now it would be way more serious, as I have over 70 horses. And I will literally go bad shit crazy if it happens again
THAT is messed up, if it does ever happen again, just don't let up. Keep pushing them until their ears bleed, they can and MUST reinstate the horses. It's not your fault their game is broken.
I am very scared for the future of sso, they need to do something about this or else players will start forgetting about it, The worst part is sso doesn't listen to the players if they did, there wouldn't be any problems!! 😒

At first it was funny, but when you log in and see everyone around Steve's with the jumping off and up your horse bug it becomes really annoying really fast

When I first started the game, I loved it. It got me back into horses, after taking a long break, now I’m likely going to quit the game soon, the Icelandic’s are disappointing at best. And sso doesn’t even seem to care to give us double sc weekends anymore. It’s really sad what sso has become.
It is! I'm also a little disappointed in the Icelandic, the front leg looks to rubbery and they mane is just... no. SSO is just so 'don't care' at this point.
I get your point, (star coins) I honestly just feel like they want us to give up and buy the 5000 star coins instead of 10,000. It's been 6 weeks and all they do is shove bundles and offers down our throats. :/

Sc weekends doesn't mean something nice to do, except training, buying more things etc.. I wish we had something to do not something to buy. And sc doesn't mean mainstory quests either 🤔
@@m4tta im prefer the old iccys , it just means the lower price means i get to get all of them easier , the new ones dont have textured coats , but all the kids that play this game will go nuts for them as all they want is new and updated even if its not actually better
So, it seems like the end is near. I lost my account Amira Turtlehill in 2017 and never got it back, customer service demands payment receipt even though I never paid for anything on that account because I always used codes, I was a child growing up in a poor family. I still cry just talking about this because I miss that account, it all started with it and I really want it back.
If there's Anyone who's somehow able to help, please do, I need that account back, I need to find my friends, I miss them... That account was barely level 12!
Sadly, sometimes other players try stealing other's people's accounts like that, so the only "real" way to verify that it's yours is to send a receipt:/

I keep getting these glitches where everyone goes off and on their horse over and over again or when a person and their horse stand still for the whole time. The horse doesn't even have movement
I've seen that a lot on my Finnish server and I'm like what 🤨
I have had so many bugs I will be doing champs or dressage or jumping with my club and all of a sudden I’ll get stopped by a random invisible block. It gets annoying especially in champs. In champs you wanna complete the race and get a ribbon. They are for fun yet however it becomes less fun when you keep getting stopped by invisible walls and then you can’t jump anywhere. This is only the start to my issue's. During the Halloween event sometime the crystals wouldn’t show up for me or I’d have that stupid everyone dismount there horses then remount them quickly. But again I could go on an on about them all.
Wow....This is outrageous. This game was my childhood. And now I haven't played for a really long time, and after this I wouldn't even dare to log in, knowing there's a chance that the horses are gone. I'd rather keep the good memories and never play again...
WHAT???!! This is the first time I've ever heard that people have lost all of their horses, horse gear, clothes and/or ingame money! Now I scared that this could happen to ME DD:

sso is killing the playerbase, and if people login and see that their horses are gone, that's money wasted. they need to fix this shit now or they'll drive away newer players as well
I also remember a bug in the past where when logging into the game, after logging out at a normal place, you could get a random ,,forbidden area" warning.
Also it's funny how that mall glitch that was shown in the video has been in the game since I started playing in 2017 and still hasn't been fixed. Even when star stable tried to do something against it, the players would simply find another way or the glitch would come back a few months later
It happened to me as I was beginning the game. I hadn't unlocked Mistfall yet, and when I fell somewhere or glitched through something (in the allowed areas) then the word "Mistfall" would appear as if I had entered Mistfall (I could be in the middle of Moorland and it'd still do it). Then I would get a big menacing warning telling me I had entered an unauthorized area and I would be sanctionned, maybe even perma banned if I did it again. B1tch I just glitched through a rock in fort pinta that doesn't make me a hacker... I wonder how many people might have gotten automatically banned due to this glitch.
I lost 200 sc once and when I bought a horse I wanted there was a completely different horse in my stable. I never seen a game this broken, or maybe it's on purpose?
Oh my gosh I’m so glad someone is speaking out about this. My friend and I both having a LOT of bugs and glitches which are ruining the game. To people disappearing, to freezing, to glitching around, to random horses randomly stretching across my screen, to my friends FPS Turing to trash, etc. it’s getting to the point to where it is unplayable and its so sad. I haven’t logged on because the excessive bugs are ruining the game and making it very hard to play. It’s so frustrating as I have sunk a good amount of time and money into it and it’s really starting to get under my skin.
The sad thing is, if sso gets a bit worse, they won’t be able to save it. we all have spent so much money and time for nothing. If sso ever got better, i don’t think we could even trust them. So tragically, i think SSO is done for….
i’m terrified now that someday i’m gonna log on and all my horses will be gone. and the worst part is, there’s nothing we can do to stop it or get it back.
This year I finally realized the game is slowly coming to an end. Devs might not think that, CEO might not see that by the numbers, heck, even some players might feel like the game is doing great. But I’ve seen a lot of downfalls of various games and it always starts quiet. It starts with little voices like yours that slowly build up over time. And usually it doesn’t end with a bang. It’ll be a slow and quiet death. Playerbase will shrink, numbers will slowly start to drop over time, there will be less chat moderators, some servers will start to close down. Given that SSO does nothing with its current situation. They still have one last ace up their sleeve which is SSO mobile. I genuinely think they might release the game on mobile devices and switch to f2p, adding more micro transactions because no one in 2021 will pay for a membership in a mobile game lmao. It might change SOMETHING. But as it stands right now- the game is going nowhere.

I’m my Dream last night star stable decided to redo star stable entirely and remake the game, all the horses, map terrain and our characters. The quests specifically the main story quests were going to change a bit because In the dream they wrote down a solid story that they weren’t going to change. It was great until I woke up.
That was a good dream. I'm quietly hoping it comes true ♥
My personal favorite bug is the screen randomly flashing to a bright blue screen overlayed on the game. You can hear everything and see the UI, but it's unplayable. I get it at least once a week, primarily from exiting a trailer.... Which is my main thing I travel with...
This has happened to me XD It's so funny the amount of bugs that keep popping up in this game!
I know this one isn't the worst, but there's this bug where people keep dismounting on and off of their horses constantly, and sometimes a player's horse is just frozen. No animations or anything, it's just frozen, same thing with the character. I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but sometimes, when I open my pasture menu, one of my horses aren't even there. I'll see the horse in it's stall, but not in the pasture. Their slot is empty even if they're in their stall. When I move another horse into the glitched horse's stall, the glitched horse and the non glitched horse are just clipping through each other. Each time it happens I always get a small heart attack, simply because I think the horse just disappeared. It's already happened with my JWH and APH. I really want sso to fix these bugs because goodness, it just ruins gameplay experience and the overall game. I'm getting sick and tired of them.

The glitch at 4:10 i had also, i was thinking it was my internet but this happened for way too long! it wasn't playable for a entire year and they kept telling me is 'my fault and your internet was bad' i tried playing on my grandpa's computer and the same issue happened. Sso has been not a good condition at all, they only been shoving horses and new quests took me 15 minutes and that was it. wildwoods is already dead because they only added 1 short quest. I quickly wanting to leave sso but i still love the game.... i love the game but its just they are treating us so bad :(

I know, right? Since yesterday, i havent been able to go to a single champ. Other people were there, the schedule said it was supposed to be happening there too, but there was no speech bubble with the manager or that countdown timer.
I am very sceptical about believing the horse disappearance is a bug/glitch.
SSO is full of young kids and I see many players, even in the ingame chat, that serach for people who would train their horses, or people who say they share an account with their friend.
I wouldn't be surprised, that one kid deletes the others kids horses, because they started a fight, I also think that giving your details to someone to train your horses will mostly end badly.
I have 3 Accounts, 1 UK 2 German Accounts and never have I had anything of that happen to me, nor did my friends who play SSO. Also kids will lie about handing over passwords.
Pls also understand SSOs pov. They look into an accounts history, see someone sold horses and threw away items by the legitamely ingame features of "le trash can", what are they supposed to do. Anyone could come forward and claim they got hacked or that this is a bug, when in reality they just want their star coins back. There is even the rumor going around that SSO doesn't hand out your allowance if you don't log in regularly, but considering I never bought star coins on my UK Account and have way over 10k accumulated over a year, that is just propaganda as well.
I do believe that there are people who maliciously spread those stories to put SSO in a bad light. Unless we have rock hard proof, it is difficult to claim, that this is a bug or someone lying.
There are however a lot more bugs in the game, that just don't get fixed.
- Sound glitches
- Valedale horse poop doesn't disappear ever since they made the stable updates which was what... 3-4 years ago?
- Soulrider missions are buggy af. Imo it is a bug if the horse runs through walls and trees and rocks and water and I am not able to follow. I wrote the support and they literally told me to git gud.
- The weird unmounting glitch we have atm with riders twitching on and off the horse
- Texture glitches on the trees
- Sometimes you can't select the last race on the Starshine-Ranch
I think that the issue, why we have so many bugs, is because SSO is pushing their engines limit to a breaking point. Working with a 10 year old system and trying to keep up with nowadays game designs most likely will end in a mess of spaghetti code and then bugs and glitches show up and back-tracking through that spaghetti code, to find out where the issue is comming from (which can source form a 10 year old code), is very difficult.
They need to update their engine and change to a new system asap if you ask me.
About the star coins not going into your account every Saturday - that actually has happened to me once! Not sure why, but it did lmao, contacted SSO about it and they gave me the 100 a few days later lmaaoo
Fallout 76 has a bug where all of your cache would disappear after you logged out. Now FO76 was a buggy piece of shit, but it does happen, and if we consider that SSO is straining its engine - as you just said - I'm just more inclined to believe that it's a bug rather than player negligence.
I've seen it happen too many times to be convinced that it's just players. It's too common, and as such -at least for me - it's a bug.

There are a lot more bugs in the game than I covered - I'll be sure to mention this in the next vid! And yes, they need to change the engine or risk a total system crash - that would be something.
I had allowance not show up into my in game wallet over 6 times, been playing for like 4 years or so
But it just didn't show up 5 times. It didn't come once and after a week of arguments with support I had it refunded. If I bought something it would appear. Tho catch was that if I had let's say actually 300 sc but it showed 200 I couldn't buy something for 201sc. If I bough something for 1sc then I would suddenly have 299sc
I also had horses dissappear. But they disappeared just from overview, not from the game itself. Basically a visual glitch. So I believe that kids might actually expirience this and think they are being scammed
the thing with no star coins when you don't log in regularly is true and I can say that it happened to me, i haven't played in 2 years and have a lifetime, last time I looked (1 month ago) I had 300sc sorry if its sounds like im atacking you
The allowance thing idk why but it doesn't happen to me, and I've seen players be gone for years and they get all the corresponding SC for the time they have been gone, i really don't know why, but I'm glad it doesn't happen to me.
I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing bug like this (although I personally find the t-posing ones kinda funny)
The Rockwell questline is currently unplayable to me as I accidentally left the bunker that you have to go into to speak with one of the Rockwell family members and got locked out and can not get back inside whatsoever. This also somehow skipped multiple quests in the questline (I am using a walkthrough to help with these quests) and also triggered the quest where you ride with the Rockwell mother (I forgot her name) after Edward Rockwell. Again, I cannot get into the bunker. I contacted SSO about this and all they said was log out and log back in several times and that they’d look into it (no idea if they really are or not)
So glad that you, along other creators are bringing up these issues.
As I was watching this while online, I saw people on global complaining about there being no championships happening the whole day. The irony.
That's reminded me of the time I had a problem with the game... It would start only after reinstalling every single time, so pretty much I had to reinstall every day or I would have black screen forever and nothing would ever launch. I messaged support. I was told to "wait because servers can't handle many players"... when I mostly logged on Monday at 6 in the morning.
i had to do this for years and whenever i wanted to play with my friends they had the same issue too
Oh my God, I had the EXACT same problem a year or so ago! Drove me nuts at the time.

Yeah is has become a way bigger problem over time, my sister has experienced some like the star coin and stable bug, and has basically stopped playing the game. And I am just waiting for a horse game that is better and that personally will like to come along at this point and it saddens me. I used to love this game.
The stable bug is really concerning, and the last time I contacted star stable support about a race quest bug, where they disappear while they are green if you lose connection to the game and when you log back on you can't redo them. And their first response was it might be your internet.
And it annoys me as a programmer on a basic level, since you redo anything else than the race quests(the ones in the races tab in the quest log) when you log in again.
And yes I got on them about it
2 or 3 years ago, I was once logging in, and when the game was loaded instead of my character, I saw a totally random one for like 10 seconds, with a horse that I never had, with clothes I never had, and with a name none of my characters have... After 10 second the server was dropping me off, but it was really concerning me that I could log in to someone else's account, and who knows if some random person also got into my account for a little time... No harm was done to my, or other's account, and it never happened again, or at least I didnt see anybody complaining about it, but idk how the hell could this happen? That I logging in and got into a random person's account? Just how, and why?
Omg. When I get home I am DEFINITELY recording me hovering over every item I have in the game. This is terrifying! Especially since I’ve had the same account since 2014 and never experienced a glitch like this... the chance goes way up that I’ll eventually wake up to everything gone...
Actually, I remember I did experience a game breaking glitch YEARS AGO. It was when the browser version of the game was the only version, the browser version broke so they gave me a beta version of the SSO launcher. I’m Surprised they did that honestly.

Every time my Friend logs on, she can't see anyone or talk to them, and she can't see her own text in Chat. She has to relog at least 3 times before it works.. This has been happening for 3 months now. I feel very bad for her tbh,, :( I hope SSO Fixes it soon.
When this whole thing started, I was skeptical at the remarks people said about the game. But now, time has passed and I seriously see now why the remarks were made. Sso has really disappointed me. The lag is horrible, the glitches are getting more common, and the customer service is useless. I stopped buying starcoins because of these issues and I have no regrets. I hope sso gets better. 😔
Back when I first started playing sso in 2016 I remember explicitly telling myself that I would NOT pay for a membership during that time because I saw though the glitches and thought to myself "This game doesn't feel like it's even worth $70 if it's going to be this broken".
I've waited for at least two years as a non star rider to see if the game would get any better,
and when I thought it had improved in 2018 that's when I decided to purchase life time.
I brought a membership because I thought the game had improve enough for me to feel comfortable with the purchase, but it's only recent I'm wondering if there was any improvement at all.
This sort of thing is genuinely terrifying to me - SSO aren't taking the responsibility they need and now I'm actually fearful because all the money that goes into accounts - when someone loses horses, more so to a bug, and SSO refuse to fix it, you can't even get the money back because you won't have the Star Coins in your inventory / you've used pre-purchased ones they won't refund it.
I'd probably understand if someone did it on purpose, but if it comes to bugs, it's absolutely ridiculous to shift the blame.
might as well call the game a "buying horses" sim.

Also, unfortunately, sso seems to have spaghetti code (A game with so much code they cant go back and fix bugs or old models). Which means the end is near. This is so sad, since the same, magical feeling I had has now faded into constant waiting.
I hate to say it, but being a non starrider was more fun than having starrider..

Spaghetti code is when a game has been overly developed/rushed and there is so much code it is virtually impossible to fix mistakes. A good example is school lf dragons - their toothless model. Players have asked for years to get a new toothless model, but since it is such a big game with so many updates, it is impossible to go back around 5-6 years of coding to find the model, as that would take days maybe weeks, so now the model is permanently stuck in a very low quality model, unable to be fixed, which might just happen with ssos new characters, if they continue the weekly updates. Rushing can also explain the 'nothing' updates, they have barley any time to push out updates so they get rushed, leading to boring updates.
i remember running into a shop and tried to open it and see what it hand, i glitched and the screen went black before getting a warning about trying to get into non access zones
I pretty much quitted sso, but now I'll have to come back every saturday to check if my weekly sc was given and if my horses are still alive. At this point I just wanted all my money back to get off of this whole mess, I'm so tired of this shit
I don't play the game much anymore, but around the time the Wildwoods came out I got back into the game for a short time. During that time, my game became just about unplayable because it would lag out if I looked around a specific part of the map no matter where I was in the world (towards Wildwoods I believe). I emailed support, and I was told:
"We are sorry to hear that you are having issues.
Make sure your computer’s graphics card has the latest update to its drivers to give yourself the best possible chance of getting the game to work properly.
If you’re unsure of how to do this, there are heaps of easy step-by-step guides online that will tell you exactly how to get it done!"
I have a gaming PC that can run games like Red Dead Redemption 2 without issues, and I told them as such and I still got blamed. I emailed them again, and then I was told they're aware of this bug... It always rubbed me the wrong way but I never really shared 'till now.
I haven't been on the game since early or mid-September and before that, I had been on sometime mid-summer but I haven't really been paying attention to it due to lack of story quests. Now after seeing this I will probably be logging in intermittently just to make sure nothing disappears. I like all the things there that I have and there's a lot of memories. Even if I don't play religiously I don't want it all to just disappear.
Last year I experienced a gamebreaking bug. The whole screen was black, so I couldn't see anything besides the GUI, which for some reason was the only thing that was visible. I was so desperate for the bug to get fixed that I sent a bug report to SSO. I also tried logging into my account on another computer because I thought maybe it was an issue with mine specifically but the bug still persisted. Finally after three days the problem was fixed. No, I didn't get some explanation from the SSO team. The bug just went away after a few days and has never occurred again (thankfully.)
It's so devastating to see how it just gets worse and worse :/ I haven't logged in properly for almost a year and when I do, I become too depressed to even do anything... I just log in and look around for a few minutes. Nothing, nothing but a glimpse of sadness to see the absolute state this game has become. It could have had so much potential, I had so much hope for this game that I always said it in my mind a few years ago that man... I would never quit this game. Yet here I am, officially uninstalled this game and only reinstalling it to feel depressed for a few minutes then uninstall it again. I miss riding my old model horses so much, I miss the old graphics, the old active community, the fun, that magical atmosphere this game once gave it to me. Ugh

I've never related so much to a comment! I tried so hard to get back into SSO this year after finally purchasing lifetime and now I really hope that wasn't a waste of money. I miss everything I experienced way back in 2017.
i started in 2017 and its declined since then , im on the busiest uk server and honestly sometimes it feels so quiet compared to what it used to be , i go months without playing , but today a saturday i logged on .played all morning and globel chat was more or less dead , half an hour would go past with no one saying a word on it , it used to be constant , always adverts for clubs , roleplays ,etc , you dont even see as many players riding around , the atmosphere has indeed declined so much and its been that way for well over a year iv noticed this change

I started playing a couple months after the game was first released, and for a few years there the game was truly amazing. It kept me fascinated, i could play for hours and constantly have a good time, not be bored whatsoever when i finally logged off.. now it's just so much of a chore since there's not a single thing that feels entertaining. The most common updates are new horses, new tacks or races. When there's been quest stuff it's things that are finished in 10-20 minutes. There's nothing that keeps you wanting to come back, which is a true shame because I've spent *a lot* of money on this game over the years, for myself and for friends.
I've been playing for 6+ years and the game has never been so bugged and glitched. I don't mind bugs and glitches until the programmers don't seem to fix any of them.

I had this bug in the game where I can't access the wildwoods I'm a level 20 player did every quest in the game basically (I even made sure I did the mistfall story question) and STILL no quest to open the wildwoods. I emailed star stable and they simply said "well... the only way to open the wildwoods is to done the quest and be level 15." Very helpful.
I dont have to open the wildwoods but it would be fun, because I know there is quest there and maybe I could get a little bit of "fun" out of it lol
I also experienced the bug where I coundn't see any other players.. SSO told me to reinstall the game. It didn't work and then they stopped trying to help me. It fixed itself after a couple of weeks, it should'nt have taken them so long to fix a bug that ruined the whole game for some players
Happened to me several times too but fixed itself by just logging off and on again, I don't mind because I don't interact with other players but yes that would be terrible if it prevents someone from interacting with their friends for weeks!
I can totally relate to this - recently I logged on my account and all my horses, items everything was gone. I contacted sso and theys aid that I had been either sharing my password or one of my friends logged on to sell them and how their system was super safe and no one could hack into it. They restored my horses, and when I asked to change my email since the one i originally had was not working for me anymore, they asked me to provide them bank statements. Now I am happy to do this, but I might've deleted or no longer kept bank statements from like, 8 years ago. They never said when signing up to save that bank statement if you ever need to change ur email, and despite me sending them loads of proof like the date i signed up, the date of birth i put on sso, my start horse name, and even other bank statements, they simply refused to do any thing. It's ridicolous
players horses disappeared, but mines a few months ago came back (like the ones that i deleted) i was so confused!

I've been playing since 2012... oooh boy how many bugs. Sso is killing itself really "as long as we give them horses to buy, we will make money" yeah right...
i think the reason I never got bugs is probably because my main sso account is not that active and almost every time I log in there are barely any players around, maybe thats way I never get bugs :)
I’m now worried to log on with SSO neglecting the disappearing horse problem, it’s so concerning they haven’t done anything about it yet! If this becomes a bigger occurrence I can definitely see players quitting rapidly.
I have also seen a few bugs that still don’t know if they have been fixed. I was able to download SSO mobile app (the one where you can play the real game on mobile) maybe about a month ago and it worked fine but as soon as the Steve’s farm update came out the app no longer worked. I knew it wasn’t just my device playing up as I saw people on their social medias commenting about it. Disheartening that I don’t believe it’s been fixed yet as I’ve deleted the mobile app.

I contacted sso one time cause every time I went to goldenhills it kicked me out saying I would get banned even tho I already unlocked it and was a star rider. It took a while for them to do something about it but they were soo quick to fix the free shillings bug 🤨

Just wanted to come here to say that you are absolutely right with what you've been saying but I also gotta admit that when I was younger I gave some random girl in SSO my data so she can buy me star coins and she sold all my stuff back in like 2014 and I told everyone I was hacked and didn't know what had happened (even my parents) and I even mailed SSO and was a raging kid telling them to give me back my stuff because I was hacked. They didn't help me back then. Probably because of my attitude and I feel like it's not that uncommon that kids lie about it when they fuck up.
I whole heartedly believe that some people actually had this bug and SSO didn't help them but if I was the kid I used to be and got "hacked" and I would hear about this happening - damn, I would sent SSO a mail SO fast, telling them I had the same bug.
SSO has to change A LOT. No doubt. But I feel like some problems with the customer support come from kids like me who lie a lot about their experiences. Especially if it involves lying to a huge company and getting caught.

I really just wish they'd get their act together. I messaged customer services 2 weeks ago after years of progress (and my lifetime star rider) had just been wiped in a single night. They said they couldn't get it back or refund me the horses and star coins I spent real life money to buy. Fun stuff, innit?
I'm more than scared to log on now. I have 80+ horses and if they all disappeared, I would be devastated.
Another bug I've noticed is players and their horses being frozen in place. I tested this with my friend, and she was clearly moving around on her screen, but on mine, she was frozen and not moving at all.
It's extremely sad to see on how little SSO cares about bugs and glitches that are gamebreaking - but rather the little ones like getting free shillings and bugging into closed areas.
I actually had no idea these bugs were happening. I personally haven't experienced any game breaking bugs, so thank you for bringing this to our attention! These videos are really important to me, so, thank you Rattle! ♡

I can remember a while back, I sent them a report saying that a pair of leg wraps (cant recall WHICH leg wraps), had the texture of that purple circus saddle-pad. They asked for a photo, I said grand, understandable, went and got the photo. It was all going smooth until they asked me to....restart my game?
Rightfully so, I didn`t understand this, and told them it was a MODEL issue, not version issue, and they sent the same automated paragraph to me twice.
Honestly, I think I had a similar thing happen horse wise.. nevermind a few of the weird glitches like the doppelganger n the people on and off their horses.
I bought the zony when it first came out, and I'm on and off the game- after a while I noticed it wasn't there anymore and I know I didn't sell it, because I could still hear the zebra noise of it being out in a stall in my stable.
For the longest time, I thought I did sell it, but seeing that being a bug it honestly wouldn't surprise me at this rate. I still hear the zebra neigh from time to time.
That's actually kinda creepy when you can hear your Zony, even though you can not interact with it. The ghost Zony is now haunting your stable forever until SSO can fix the issue.

i wish your channel was bigger!! your videos are incredible and NEED to be heard by so many players and star stable themself. this is horrific and disgusting how much this company has failed such a nostalgic game that can prove SO much potential if the devs actually cared. customer support is awful so i cant wait for that to be covered, and literally on every social media platform of sso, theres NEVER any normal comments under posts. all their interactions on social media are people complaining about bugs and glitches. i think that shows something. this company needs sued of millions. im so proud to never spend money on this game again until they fix their shit, so far, i havent even logged in or spent money for over 3-4 months now.
Once my photomode simply stopped working, no pictures on pc folder. And yes, they said your problem not ours. Your antivirus programmes are responsible for this. Other bug, cleaning stable on Valedale village. Stable stays dirty and it's not fixed.
I remember there was a bug that happened to me once, that put me on *someone elses account.* This was years ago and I was very young and didn't even know what hacking was at the time, so there's 0 way I could've done it on purpose. I remember all I did was run around a bit in star rider areas and then log off, because there's not much else to do in sso. The fact that this happened at all, despite what I did when on the account, is extremely concerning. However it has not happened to anyone I know, or to myself, ever since.
(I have a hunch as to how it happened but will not be sharing due to obvious reasons)
Edit: Scratch that not sharing thing, I checked and they actually removed the 'login with facebook' thing on the launcher, my hunch is that since thats how I usually logged in, using it somehow routed it to someone elses account who also used login with facebook.
I just read the emploee rewievs from glassdoor and it's exactly as bad as I thought... I am done with this game. They genuinely don't care about what we *really* want. They will continue on keeping us hooked in with pretty horses and lowsy quests while pretending that they work on improving this game, but they have no idea in which direction to go, no vision whatsoever of what they want to be as a game. There's nowhere to grow for their employees either. Don't expect that things will change bacuse you will be let down. Such a bummer.

Not to mention all the horses they've been pumping out with hardly any new events. They've brought out so many horses it's ridiculous.
And when you get new quests, you're done within an hour.
Now that you mention it there are plenty of annoying bugs/glitches. The two main bugs or glitches I get are...
1 After awhile of playing (could be 10mins or hours) the players all disapear.
2 Again after awhile or as soon as I log on the players don't go anywhere (except myself) they basically just run on the spot.
I originally thought this was my internet or my account, but it makes more sense it being a bug as I've played on multiple internet's and accounts and had this happen 🤔 Thank you rattle for talking about this.
I had a bug for several years involving the farah crafting quest. I couldn't complete the first part with the tea because I accidentally deleted it and couldn't collect new flowers to make a new one, unintentionally locking myself out of it. I didn't realise this and it took lots of back and forth with support for them to realise what happened and literally within minutes fixed it for me. I think it's a case of getting the right person. Since they literally added a cup of tea to my inventory which fixed the issue I'd been having for years, I think they can certainly return someones horses back to their account or at least give SC to replace it.
All of these stories are horrifying and doesn't make me want to log into, holy shit star stable fix your shit
I would cry if i lost all my horses, I have over 30 horses in game and having to remember all they're name's not to mention one's out of season never coming back this is so scary, They MUST fix this it is unacceptable to wander in your stable one day and everything be GONE, Unacceptable i say!

Two years ago, I was OBSESSED with this game. Clubs were fun! I was having fun! Everything was fun! Buying a horse after I saved up was the happiest feeling. I'd log on every day and hang out with my friends, my club, etc.
Present time, I barely log on. I've gone on break. The club I'm in gets on for practices but we're all busy with irl work. There's nothing fun in the game anymore. Dead servers from quitting players.
SSO, please. we don't want our childhood to die... we thought we'd pass it on to other kids.. but it looks like there will be no other kids :(
this is so important. My first bad experience was when I was in the process of unlocking epona. I had done plenty of research on what quests and reputation I needed and had done it all. However one of the quests wouldn't come through. I emailed them and they just kept repeating to "work on your reputation" I told them twice I had the exact rep I needed. Then they said, "we checked your account, you have plenty of other side quests and races you could focus on right now. Go do some of those", then recently, I emailed them about the glitch where I cannot see any other players. I've seen other people have this too. They told me that this was "not an issue any other players have" and that it was my computers fault and they can't fix it. Then my last experience just this week, I can't do any of my quests with the old bunker in epona. I emailed them and they said they'd check it out but it would take a "little longer". Two weeks pass, so I VERY kindly email them and they said I should learn to have some patience because they're still checking it out.
I should note none of those are exactly word for word but they are all very similar to what they said based of my best memory. None of it helpful to my situation, or frankly very kind.

I made a new account recently to replay the game and Marleys Barrel race is glitched. It won't start and hasn't for weeks.. I don't want to put in the effort to complain to SSO about it bc they didn't even fix the never-ending poops at Valedale when I told them, after years they still stay which is a simple yet annoying glitch. Oh also Linda T-Poses whenever she's mounted on your horse, and her shadow only shows her hands and head. The game has so many glitches that to newer players they'll think it's like a bad mobile game? To us older players we have had to regard it as normal, The sheep and the girl with the black horse always gets bugged and takes relogging to redo and hope it doesn't glitch and it spider walks up the side of the wall. I still love Star Stable and I don't want them to go downhill and shutdown like my last favorite childhood games. But I hope they expand the game to be more fun and inclusive with more things to actually do in the game besides repetitive races. I enjoyed the race with Elli though need more of that but still better. Also, why do their emails get tossed into the Spam folder??
I just wanna point out too that the Crescent Moon Village race is also bugged, and I'm unable to go into the Bunker to continue the quest in New Hillcrest oh my gosh.. Since Marley's Barrel Race is bugged I can't start the whole questline where you save Nightdust. Not to mention Ricky consistently t-poses in the ground several times throughout his questline.
I have plenty of game ideas for the game that I'm reposting on SSO's facebook until they hear it, I hope they take them into consideration.
I had an issue with two yellow quests that were showing on the minimap but the npcs’ were completely gone and nowhere…? I contacted sso and they told me “try to reinstall the game, we hope it helps” and so I did reinstall and guess what, they still were invisible. Disappointment was very high. I used to play the game a lot at exactly that time and I just couldn’t progress the main story quest because of bugs. Thankfully it solved by itself after a week thank you sso for (not) solving my problem. Ps. They didn’t even reply to my second message about reinstalling not working x)
There was a bug I remember getting in like 2016 or 2017, where the chat was so crowded that it caused messages in global to get mixed up. I was sending other people’s messages and other people were sending mine. It eventually caused the chat to crash on our server and then after that, the server went down and in total it took about 45 minutes to get the server back up and the chat working properly again for us to be able to talk normally. I also have had terrible experiences with customer service. The first one being, I had a different account when I started. It got permanently deleted because my mom asked for a refund and didn’t realize I had already spent the Star coins. They refused to reinstate my account. For something that we weren’t even aware was a policy until they told us.
I also reported a player back in October for grooming and predatory behavior as well as doxxing a minor in global and told sso that a chat ban wasn’t enough when this was a regular occurrence from this player. They told me to “handle it myself” if I was so worried.
You know what's interesting... I remember having a few friends, about 5 or 6, having logged into their accounts the next day to find all their horses were sold and the items in their closet were gone. And this all happened within the same year back in 2018. I've even heard stories from other players of their friends having the same experience. And I remember finding it really odd how everyone was just getting hacked left and right.
At first, when the first two of my friends had told me this experience I assumed they had shared their login info to another player they blindly trusted, but that notion only turned out to be true for just one of them. The other along with my other friends never shared their login info and most I knew weren't naive enough to do so. Keep in mind, I only had about 10 to 11 friends, so for the chances of 5 of them to do the same reckless thing was incredibly slim, but not likely to be possible. It was then when I began to become a little suspicious about the goings ons in sso.
i had the same thing happen to me with the horses disappearing. I logged on one day and all my horses were gone, my backpack full with tack that I never bought and some tack missing. I bought all of those horses with my real money and never ever gave someone my password. it was my main account that i had for years and paid so much money for. it took me over a month of mailing sso to get only a few of my horses back(the less expensive ones). their response to me telling them that i didn't share my password was literally just "it's impossible for someone to hack your account" which is just not true
Yes, once I logged on and I couldn't see anyone or anything, I did all my races, but it didn't count save.
I made a new account to see how far I could get, and when I rode into Fort Pinta and played one of the quests it threw me into a blocked area. Maybe a few because the screen flashed. I contacted support and they said it'd be forwarded to a new department. I never heard back. I'm always so worried playing new quests now on my main account because I invested so much money into it when I was a kid. If the glitch hasn't been fixed yet I could record it.

SSO and it's gamebreaking bugs are really frustrating at the moment. I can't believe people actually lost some of their horses due to bugs, that's horrible. And SSO has the audacity to blame the players for it..like what? I'm glad that (after some pushing) the people got their horses back eventually but it's just concerning to see in what direction SSO is going right now.

I added a free account for my niece. Suddenly my e-mail was switched to her account and hers to mine along with the passwords.. When I contacted SS they said that e-mail had always been on my account. No matter how many times I told them no and to please switch it back. They insisted I was wrong. I had to fix it myself.
