      - 1 carton vegan egg substitute
      Mix ingredients together, divide evenly between a 12 cavity muffin tin (generously greased). Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.

    I tried the frittata recipe! It was really good but I had a few issues, I think my sautéed greens had too much water left in them because my egg was very soggy even though I cooked it a lot longer. It also stuck a ton because my pans are old and not nonstick. Really want to make them again and maybe try it with muffin liners.

      @@vegan_guac No offense but I've done that, the whole "in a food desert but goes vegan anyway" thing and did develop malnutrition. On one hand it's been my fault since I wasn"t properly educated on proper meal balancing...but that's the thing. We need education on proper vegan diets that don't torture and abuse our bodies either and take into account that we're all different. To pretend that people have equal access in money, healthy food and the education to prepare it all is ignorant.

  • @rachaelalainia
    @rachaelalainia Рік тому

    After watching your video and as a nutritionist with over 10 years experience I would say that these meals aren’t entirely healthy. You’re lacking a lot of fresh veggies and fruit in this diet as most of it is cooked. Also most of your core protein items are processed. Nothing wrong with eating these foods but maybe try to limit them to 5-10 percent per day. Examples of a healthier meal for breakfast would be some raw tomatoes / cucumbers and mangoes on the side. Lunch would be a massive salad with beets, walnuts dates or whatever you want - snack a couple pieces of healthy fruit / berries / nut butter or nuts . Dinner - quinoa / yams or squash with fresh veggies and maybe some strawberries ( raw preferably) you want to aim for 50-80 percent raw foods. Avocados and dates are my favorite go too snacks to up my raw food count :) packed with nutrition and calories to keep you going :)

    • @rachaelalainia
      @rachaelalainia Рік тому

      Also you want to aim for your diet to be at least 80-90 percent whole foods based. Meaning limit the packaged foods as much as possible. It’s always good to sneak as much raw living foods into your diet as much as possible while still eating whole foods based proteins and grains , ( cooked if preferred )

    • @Sosofloflo
      @Sosofloflo 2 роки тому

      Literally 80% of what was showed in this video was processed food….. look into the UA-camr Alexandra Andersson. Processed food really isn’t a broad and vague category. It’s extremely straight forward….

    • @ohleander02
      @ohleander02 2 роки тому +1

      @@Sosofloflo Actually, you're incorrect. "Processed food" is a really broad and vague term -- regardless of what you think about it. And I'm not taking my eating or health advice from an unqualified UA-camr, thanks -- and you shouldn't either. The person you've told me to look up isn't a dietician, nor a healthcare professional. Sarah's videos are fun, friendly, and always show amazing food - regardless of processed ingredients.
      Processed Food is defined as "food that has been cooked, canned, frozen, packaged or changed in nutritional composition with fortifying, preserving or preparing..." That's an extremely broad definition.
      The Department of Agriculture (USA) defines processed foods as, "any raw agricultural commodities that have been washed, cleaned, milled, cut, chopped, heated, pasteurized, blanched, cooked, canned, frozen, dried, dehydrated, mixed or packaged." And goes on to say that it includes "processed" as "anything done to food that alters its natural state. This may include adding preservatives, flavors, nutrients and other food additives, or substances approved for use in food products, such as salt, sugars and fats."
      Finally, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has additional rankings for types of processed foods.
      Your comment (this one and the original you made) is so unnecessary and unhelpful. Those of us that follow Sarah's channel should really just enjoy her videos, and the food shown, without judgement. And no one should be making negative judgements about what people eat.
