Yes bechamel is standard in an Italian lasagna, we also call it ‘pasticcio’, which means mess 😄 That sourdough looks awesome! It really makes me wanna get back into making bread, thank you Sarah
After watching this video I tried roasting my cabbage for the first time and it is so good, like probably my favourite way to eat cabbage and one of my favourite vegetable dishes overall. I sometimes make a spicy version with gochujang as well, really good 😊
Sarah I can hang out with you and Erick for more than 30 minutes for sure!!! I love your approach of making things from scratch, good lesson the pandemic should have left us!
I'm so happy to be following your videos for so many years! Your channel is just a safe space at this point and I love all the long relaxing videos, it's like hanging out with you two! 😁 Still remember your first taste tests together!
I love your ingenuity with making things from scratch. Could you make a video with the process of making the cashew cheese? It seemed so easy but I’m nervous to try it! Also your sourdough process, if you’d be into that. Love your videos, you always inspire me to try new things and do things via the homemade route :) thank you!
The process of you making bread together was so cute!! I've really been wanting to try making my own bread, but I always feel like I'm going to fail. xp
😆 It's all the filming and everything! Sometimes by the time we're done, we're sick of the meal we made and need to wait until the next day until we actually want to eat it, haha.
my favourite potato salad is roasted. Potatoes, tons of bell peppers, red onion, all roasted then tossed in a red wine vinaigrette dressing with fresh dill. PERFECT in the winter.
I am loving these longer videos! Everything looks delicious. I also have a list of recipes I've been wanting to make. But most importantly, y'all need to watch back to the future ASAP. GO. NOW! HAVE FUN!
justine is one of my absolute favorite food creators on tiktok and instagram! i love seeing you, another food creator i really like, draw inspiration from her - feels like the coolest collision of worlds 💌:D
It's nice to see you posting a little more often. I'm still learning by practicing the fermenting process. Though I now have a couple of quarts of Sour Kraut so just need to get the sour dough starter perfected. Thanks for the inspiration!
i was just thinking the other day im gonna be brave and try your sourdough! im a horrible baker literally cant bake or fry anything!! lol. you seem extra "chill " here i love it lol. you guys are awesome
I can't wait to make that lasagna!! Some lasagna's have béchamel sauce in them, some don't. I've made a lasagna before with a pureed butternut squash sauce that worked really well.
wooooooooooooooooooooowwwwww that lasagna looks incredible, need to try! came across your youtube channel a couple weeks ago and I can't get enough of your recipes! thank you for sharing!
Sarah l wish l was like you. You and he have everything together!!! I am starting the vegan life. I am really having a hard time but l refuse to eat anything if it isn’t vegan. I live by myself with x 2 yorkies. My only company. I bought a lot of vegan cookbooks. I pray 🙏🏽 l can do as well as you have. God Bless you❤
Everything looks so delicious especially that bread and cashew cheese! Just learned of a surprise salad topper...FRIED CAPERS! Tossed them in a skillet with some oi. I'd love to see how you might incorporate these into your meals.
wonderful video as per usual; agree with others they are very cozy, comforting recipies. All the recipies are somewhat different and look inspiring and yummy. Watching Back to the future and then Still, Michael J Fox’s film about his Parkinsons, is an experience I would call uplifting.
I've just found your channel and love your videos!!! You've given me so many things to try (I currently have roasted carrots marinating in my fridge for bagels tomorrow) and your mushroom toast and vegan lasagna with the bechamel will be next. You both are great fun to watch and I love your channel!!
Thank you for mentioning yondu! I've been looking for a nice fish sauce substitute. I used it for broth in my thanksgiving shepard's pie after realizing I used all my broth. It came out amazingly.
I'm a little behind on your videos but absolutely loooved this one, very good vibes :) Definitely going to try that lasagna sometime soon cause it looked amazing.
all of the recipes look so delicious 🥹💕 also long what I eat in a day/vlog style videos are my favorite kind of videos, especially coming from you and eric 🌱
I made your lasagna! I used sweet potato instead of butternut squash because that's what I had, but otherwise it's the same and it's SO GOOD! One of my favorite things I've cooked in a while. Yay fall recipes!
I love your recipes! I just subscribed. Your sourdough bread looks amazing. Do you have a video of the recipe to make it? In advance, thank you for sharing such beautiful and delicious recipes. Greetings from Mexico
I love mushroom toast and make it very similar but I take the mushrooms to crisp like 2 minutes short of dried. Sooooo good top with tomatoes yummm. I make lasagna with both tomatoe and bechsamel sauce. I layer protein, veggies, and cheese alternating the sauce. It's excellent.
I would love to see a vid of you trying all the things you’ve been wanting to try! Also i gotta make this lasagna too it looked delish! And absolutely love the long vids 👏
Seonkyoung Longest uses Yondu in her vegan korean dishes too. I bought some bc of her but still havent tried it yet. I think she put some in her japchae
I loooove the insane long videos, please continue
Haha thanks! It was originally 30 minutes before I cut it down 😂 I guess I underestimate my ability to ramble.
Same, felt like 5 minutes when I was watching it

Insanely long?
I think good things take time^^
I'm here for the Bingo Bango!
Yes bechamel is standard in an Italian lasagna, we also call it ‘pasticcio’, which means mess 😄
That sourdough looks awesome! It really makes me wanna get back into making bread, thank you Sarah
Oooh that's good to know! I guess I haven't had much lasagna in my lifetime. 😂
yeah bechamel is pretty standard shit for a lasagna : )!
After watching this video I tried roasting my cabbage for the first time and it is so good, like probably my favourite way to eat cabbage and one of my favourite vegetable dishes overall. I sometimes make a spicy version with gochujang as well, really good 😊
I don’t often watch videos where I want to make every single recipe, but this was one of them. 🤤
Aww, that's amazing, thank you!
I loved this video and prefer this style to the ones you've been making with the soft, sleepy music

❤ love you and love this video
The process of you making bread together was so cute!! I've really been wanting to try making my own bread, but I always feel like I'm going to fail. xp
Give it a try! Worst that can happen is you end up with bread that you just have to turn into croutons or something 😅 we've all been there!
3 recipes + 20,000 tips and tricks. Thank you!
Okay but the relatability of cooking all day and then being exhausted and ordering take out 😂
😆 It's all the filming and everything! Sometimes by the time we're done, we're sick of the meal we made and need to wait until the next day until we actually want to eat it, haha.
"Bingo bango" had me in tears for some reason 😂
Eric here....should we be making Bingo Bango merch or???? hahahaha
Ha ha Eric with the bingo bango! I actually like it 🤣😂
I find these videos super comforting.
my favourite potato salad is roasted. Potatoes, tons of bell peppers, red onion, all roasted then tossed in a red wine vinaigrette dressing with fresh dill. PERFECT in the winter.
