I did something with my default steam ID, and now whenever I launch Elden Ring, it creates a new save folder, and I'm unable to use my save, I still have it and I can see/edit my character in your save editor, but have no way to load it into the game as it creates a new folder. You can only increase the quantity of an item you already have. However i figured out how to replace items with another item. I'm almost done writing the code and the update should be out soon

You can't set the quantity of items you don't have in your inventory already. However you can use the item replacer tool to replace an easy to get item with a golden seed for example

But when i do that, it only lists a bunch of stuff that i don't have in the inventory. I tried replacing a rune for the black flame tornado, and loaded the save file. But it did not give me the ash of war. I also tried replacing the memory of grace, but all it did was remove it and did not give me the ash of war.

I can't guarantee anything but I've been using all features online except cheats since I've developed it and have had no issues. There was like a 2 week window where 5-7 people posted they were issued a 180 day ban but since then there has been nothing.
The GUI might not look as good on Linux since i spent less time on that version, however it should be stable as there is only a small bit of code that is needed to run on Linux (Mostly some commands it runs in the terminal for file manipulation). I list the setup process for Linux/Proton/SteamDeck on my GitHub and it's pretty straightforward
Weapons are different than stackable items and haven't figured out how to append items to a characters inventory. I can overwrite a weapon with a different one but i haven't added that feature yet

Hey unfortunately i already looked through a decrypted ps4 save and would have to start over with reverse engineering the file structure. I would do it but i've made like 0.02 cents per hour working on this program lol. There is a paid app called save wizard you can use to modify your ps4 ER saves but it's $60

You are using the steam version correct? 1. in windows search bar type "run" and click on the run app 2. inside the run app, type: %APPDATA% and press enter 3. A file explorer window will open to your appdata/roaming folder. Look for the folder called "EldenRing" and open it. 4. You will see a folder named after your 17 digit steam ID, thats the folder you need to select in the Save Manager. So the location should be: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing\12345678901234567 Where YOURUSERNAME is your windows username and 12345678901234567 is your Steam ID.

Haha in my defense it was the first program i ever wrote bro. I used pythons tkinter library for the GUI and its trash. I will be releasing a major overhaul next month using html, css, javascript for the GUI and will make a ton of improvements and streamline the whole process
Whenever I try to replace an item, it gives me an error that insists its unable to locate character names and then asks if the path to the save file I'm modifying exists. I checked and it does, any idea what could be causing the problem?

Can you provide more info on the steps you took? Are you importing a save you downloaded from the Nexus or your personal save? If the steam ID written in the save file doesn't match your steam ID, then the game will say it's corrupt

If you use the editor can you still invade in multiplier and do the colosseum, just really don’t want to farm for armour because the drop rates look abysmal and missed magic scorpion charm. Also is the a risk of getting banned if I use the editor? Thanks
No it doesn't. That mod changes hundreds of elements of the save file. I would have to communicate with the devs and have them break down all the modifications they did to save data structure and encoding
Hey, i started my save on seamless coop and now im tryna get my save over to vanilla. seamless coop adds a few items (tiny great pot, seperation mist, judicators rulebook). If i transfer my save to vanilla with these items in my inventory, i'll get banned. how would i go about deleting these items from my save?
I'm pretty sure a dll injects those seamless co-op items into your character on launch, so they might not be written into the save file. You could test this by going offline and launching your seamless co-op save file in vanilla and checking to see if the items are there. Another thought is seamless co-op is kind of buggy, and could potentially write weird stuff into your save file. So even if you remove those mod items, you still might get banned
Hey, quick question? if i copy a character over onto my Original save from a mule without the game running then launch it and go online, should i have any issues from it? i patched the mule file with my steam id on import but im just curious on if steam cloud save system will flag me for it. I honestly couldn't tell you. Some people said they were softbanned but didn't say which features they were using. I still play online with my heavily edited save without issue but who knows how the game identifies tampered files.
@@arespy719 I was able to launch into multi-player but haven't done any invasions but I will try when I get home later tonight. I had my ethernet cable unplugged and steam in offline mode while I was copying over a character and no more cloud save so hopefully we good lol

Hmm those items have worked on all save files that i have tested. Might be from the latest game update. I'll look into it

I used the Stat editor to increase mind but for some reason my FP is Lower but the stats have gone up?
Try equipping an item that boosts your fp and the game should recalculate the fp value. Or you can try leveling up once in-game
