The ruby was replaced by emeralds because it was confused as redstone and if someone is colourblind it is hard to identify it
I don't think being colorblind would make much of a difference in this situation, they clearly have different shapes and there's other current items that look waaay more like redstone, such as glowstone dust. Not to mention iron armor and diamond armor are nearly identical to green/red colorblind people.

I kind of want the spikes and scarecrow in vanilla. I don't necessarily want furniture but I'd like the ability to sit for screenshots.

if your friend has a huge storage with blocks labeling them, swap all of the blocks in the item frames, it would annoy them so much, looking for some stone but they only look at the labels, and if they're forgetful it makes it even better
