A friend and I found out about this mod tonight and are going to finally get to play the game from start to finish together. She is very new to PC and this guide is incredibly straightforward so I am using this video to help her set it up. Thankyou for making this video easy to follow for her, and others, honestly a big help. This is going to breathe new life into Elden Ring, vanilla "co-op" is a hellish experience.
I met a guy on ps5 last year when mw2 released and we kinda just kept on playing together and he had a gaming pc he spent around 1800 quid on but ended up hating it because he had no one to play with. I always wanted a gaming pc, i told him i was going to purchase one but didnt feel comfortable building it so was just going to leave it. He begged me to get it and ended up coming all the way to my house to build it for me. Pc gaming is good but the lack of freinds on it is the biggest turn off imo. Im just glad i bumped into him.
Thanks, works almost perfectly. Only bug we ran into was at Ruin-Strewn Precipice and that was after one of us died to a dragon boss. We ended up closing our games because we got stuck after dying. Thanks again, its a great mod!

Started a playthrough of this with my cousin a few days ago. It is SO much fun. And it's shocking how perfectly it all works. ~10 hours playtime and neither of us have had one single issue.
This exactly, I was able to import my character perfectly. My buddy has been fuming about how shitawful the coop is and refusing to play the game, he said he'll definitely try this cause the current incarnation of coop in definitely outdated and clunky is too kind to describe it. IDK about cross-progression tho, seems like that's not a thing. I don't think its possible with the way elden ring setup their systems in any mod.
For anyone having issues of the mod not working or being registered in some fashion: Seamless Coop Version 1.3.4 might not be the right one for you. It wasn't for me so I ended up finding out that using version 1.3.2 could be the solution and it was. I now have 2 unique items that you use to open your world and join others' worlds. This tutorial was still a great tutorial perfectly explaining how to install Seamless Coop in general
I don't usually comment on UA-cam videos and instead just enjoy reading people's arguments, but I have to say that this video presentation is absolutely perfect. I could learn anything from this guy. I had to subscribe.

Any ideas why my graphics card runs 25-30° hotter after installing seamless? I know it sounds bs, but before i would get like 55° max, now it goes slowly to 80 or 85. It didnt do that 30 minutes ago testing with reforged alone.
Hi, just a little question, since I'm replacing my save file, will there be any problem if i launch the game normally, without the Coop launcher? I'll make a copy of my save file just in case but I'd like to know if i could run into any problems with my progress.
@@markgoggin6660 As far as I remember, all of the saves were there, so there shouldn't really be any problem. But I still highly recommend that you make a copy of your save file, just in case.
What if you wanted to play vanilla Elden ring, do I have to delete the modded files? What would I need to do to get my character save file back? Do I undo the save file extension?
Seamless co-op uses a separate launcher, so if you want to play normal you just launch it from steam as normal. The only thing I would do to be safe is have separate characters for seamless and vanilla, I have no idea if this is needed but its a good precaution to have.
I personally haven't tried other mods while playing on the seamless coop, I'm sure it would work fine together. If you give it a try I would love to hear if it worked out all good

Great video easy to follow and straight to the point. Question however, i heard you can get banned for using mods if u dont change ur game to offline and do other things along that line. Does this automatically cover that? i wouldnt want to get banned just from launching their exe

Also, does this version remove the annoying stuff from the normal version where ppl in coop cant go some places together, have to redo bosses, etc or is this just to make coop easier? Both players can use torrent, get as far away from each other as they want etc. I started playing it with my cousin a few days ago and it's not only a ton of fun but amazing how perfectly it works. And no it can't get you banned, it dose not connect to the official MP servers in anyway. Anytime you launch the game with the anti cheat off (which you can do by just going to the install folder and launching eldenring.exe directly) it will only start in offline mode.

Why im keep getting the error: Failed to find all necessary game signature. The game version may not be appropriate for the mod, or you may have a incompatbile mod installed
bro, i spent the better part of 3 hours before and after work to understand and set this up. all the examples were skyrim SE and Vortex. the best hints that helped was the Mod page and i was still confused. "what about vortex? dont i have to launch on that? and the mods? and extensions...?" searched on here out of frustration and your glorious video saved me so bad. like i wish i found this the moment i started or thought of looking for a direct instruction vid like this. tysvm!
Hey the mod works amazing but my confusion is when I have stones that me, and my friend have gathered and when I go to the smith it says 0 stones but I have stones is the a bug or a small issue ?
You just earned yourself a subscriber! Straight to the point. My friends wanted to play elden ring with me but they couldnt because i have mods downloaded but i never knew how to download this
The mod comes with a EXE you use to launch the game instead of normally through steam. This starts the game in offline mode (the mod uses P2P of course not the official MP servers) with Easy anti cheat disabled. So yes trainers etc work perfectly fine in this mod. Which is why you shouldn't (and can't) play with randoms. You both have to set the same password.

Correct. You do not need any other mods to use Seamless co-op. The NexusMods 'Requirements' tab is mods that require Seamless Coop, not the other way around.
hey dude, great tutorial! just one question: if u open the vanilla game after youve played the mod, does the progress in your already existing character cary over to the base game?

I think when you use this mods game launcher, it boots you up in offline mode without the antcheat automatically
