- After not finding any affordable vacuum advance diaphragms in the US I try some ghetto ideas to fix my broken one. I refurbish the factory scissor jack.

Lol, I never know if people will like the ghetto stuff (I know I sure do). Sometimes people are too serious and think this is a frame off restoration when I'm really just going for the most turd polish for the least cash lol. Glad you like that kinda stuff, I'm Adam.
@@FixLife119 nice to meet you adam
@@numbskullskills Likewise buddy. I'm absolutely terrible with names but I'll try to remember yours.
Heading to our house in Lake Havasu next week… got to love the hot 🥵 weather. lol 😂… keep up the great content!
Hey thanks, yeah it's getting hot. Every year it gets harder for me to aclimate to it. I wanted to have this project done before summer but it just didn't work out. Havasu is pretty frieken hot lol. Thanks again!
Magnificent videos, I am impressed by your electrical and mechanical knowledge considering that Suzuki samurai are more than 30 years old. I am soon going to install the power steering from a Suzuki Vitara to my Suzuki Samurai and I wonder if you would be interested in doing the same to yours. Even though I have some problems understanding when you talk to the camera, I love all the restoration you are doing. Best regards from the Canary Islands in Spain.
Hey, thanks very much. That would be a neat upgrade. My budget doesnt allow for many extras right now but maybe in the future. Have you considered making some videos of that process on UA-cam? I'm sure alot of people would like to watch that process, I know I would. Best of luck with that upgrade. If you do ever make videos I'm sure everyone would love to see your island too. Thanks for watching.
I have seen that on eBay they offer the vacuum part you need, but the truth is that they are not very cheap (+- about €60)
Yeah I found them for $35-$75ish but most of them give a shipping estimate of July or June-July. I ordered the one that said June 10-June 17 for $49. Hopefully its not a piece of junk because there were OEM ones available just not in that time frame.

A screw not in place go into where it came from, or your POCKET! or into a jar, or onto a magnetic plate.
Never do they go on top of an air filter like yours.

Skin isn’t an impenetrable membrane, nor as bad as a latex glove. It’s more somewhere inbetween the two. That’s why nicotine patches works…
Right, it's probably terrible to do that, they say our skin is our biggest organ, but I'm sure every mechanic has absorbed a few quarts of carb/brake cleaner over the years right? As long as you don't live in California it doesn't cause cancer :) Alot of the cans here say: "known to cause cancer in the state of California" lol.

Known to cause cancer in the state of CA. - 😂
Try hwy 83 suzuki its in wisc. He has a you tube channel he sells parts it will be your go to source.
I checked their store online. They had the whole distributor for $200 (which is a heck of alot better than Low Range Offroad wanting $179 just for the diaphragm) but they didn't have just the diaphragm. I already ordered the one that should be here in a few weeks from Slovakia.
oh good grief I'm a dope... how could i forget that my brothrs name is adam
No biggie. I'm so bad with names I barely remember mine.
@@FixLife119 me too.

Lmao.

Slovakia? 😂
Please check/clean it before ordering.
What year is your Suzuki? And engine size? In Australia they are called Suzuki Sierra.
It's a 1987, 1.3 liter. Yes I believe it's the Samurai in the US, Sierra in Australia, and Jimny in most other places.

What’s the name of the bird heard in the background?
Those are Dove. They're pretty loud when they're trying to mate.
0,6t? 600kg 🫣
Oh you might be right. That would make more sense. It's really hard to read. I read "6 Ton" but maybe it does say 0.6 Tons. Maybe if I read those orange stickers it'll say more. If so I'll letcha know lol. Thanks.
that's 0.6 tons buddy. 600kg 😂😂
Yeah that would make a lot more sense lol.
