Good to see you posting consistently again, Zach. Your builds are honest and your videos don't involve editing to make you look perfect. It's a really desirable format.
His work is just amazing!!!
First, throttle issue is likely 1 of a few things. Check the micro switch in the pedal box (if you’re not getting a solenoid click when it messes up), check the white 4 pin molex connector going to foot switch/ITS since it’s not a watertight plug. If those all check out good, it is possible that the aftermarket controller you have is going bad. Looks like an Alltrax or possibly an Alltrax knockoff. They knockoffs that we’re made a few years ago are known for having this type of issue.
Things to improve on: While the cart looks pretty good, drivetrain wise needs some improvements. First, I noticed that you are running 5 batteries (I assume (5) 8v’s if it’s a 36v nominal system). While this works, you are sacrificing run time/capacity as well as likely not getting a full charge. (Charger shuts off around 40-41v on a 36v pack. Since your nominal voltage is now 40v, your peak voltage will be 45-46v). Basically your charger will shut off when it sees “full”, but your pack will be maybe 50-60%. Also, if you intend on using that cart to haul more than a few people, I can’t stress at least going to a 48v setup enough. 36v carts have a lot less performance than 48, and 36v limo carts at full capacity really struggle to say the least. If you want to get some serious speed and torque (35mph+) and/or do burnouts I would highly recommend a 5kw Navitas AC kit on a 48v lead acid or even lithium (Eco Battery) pack. While these kits are pricey, they are well worth the money and definitely increase the value of the cart overall.
If you need any help with anything or deals on parts, feel free to contact me. Would be glad to help you take this to the next level!!
Thanks, Jonathan

Man that frame was held together with thoughts and prayers. So. Much. Rust. Great to see you posting again! Keep them coming!
The thin floor panels where gone, most likely some joints also. The box section he cut away had some clean steel left, so not completely gone i would say.🤓 I guess they don't really protect the steel from the factory. 🤔
When he pulled the floor mat off, my first thought was...$1500.00? You overpaid!
The rust is why I like Club Cars much better.
Dude so glad you're back posting stuff. Honestly, your channel is one of my favorite rebuild channels. You help people understand that you can do a lot yourself if you just take the time and learn how to do thing. The golf cart looks amazing. The color, the wheels, those seats!!! What an outstanding job you've done on this project. Any idea what that golf cart is worth now that you rebuilt it? Keep the content coming homie, I watch every one of your videos. Thanks!
This thing came out amazing! The paintwork is getting better every time. I would replace the front emblem with something custom and throw some lights underneath it to give it a cool glow.
I'm 45 years old and I like watching your videos because you are a talented and creative person. You do a lot of cool stuff and I like seeing your dad when helps.
I don’t understand how anyone could hate on the paint. I dig it. Now, I wanna do a coyote tan possibly LINE-X on my golf cart.
Glad to see you were wearing your steel toe safety crocs throughout. Protecting your feet is important.
Going down the GC rabbit hole and stumbled on your build channel.. Excellent job!
Zach, the golf cart turned out great! For that frame to have been so rusted makes me think it must have been in saltwater at some point. Very nice restoration and your painting ability is second to none! Great video!
@jack nevitt I thought the same and that may be the issue with the throttle box.
Excellent build, very well done. This video has given me the impetus to rebuild my old Club Car.
Why can't I know people with these type of talents 😤😤😤
Great video. The transformation was wild! You could go into business just buying and flipping golf carts. It was really cool to see the whole project completed start to finish in one episode. Keep up the good work, love to see new vidoes when you put them out!
@ultimaterebuilds Pull the cover to the throttle box. It will have a switch, ITS sensor and rod in it. The rod slides through the ITS "Inductive throttle sensor. But I've replaced a bunch of switches on ezgo carts. If the solenoid doesnt click when you press on the accelerator pedal check the continuity of the switch. Cheap fix. I dig your content!
Ok, hear me out... A golf cart... with a bar. 😄 So glad to see you posting again. Your channel is by far one of my favs, and you do really great work! I like the nod to the FJ.
You know I would…. But the government frowns upon open containers on land 🙄😂
@@ultimaterebuilds7127 Ugh! They just don't want us to have any fun.
A golf cart with a bar? See just about every country club.
Sir. That is an outstanding job. You created a TANK that will serve you or anyone else who has it for years to come. Great Video and you have a new subscriber right here!!! Thank You.
Good to see you back. I'm glad you are trying something else besides the jet skis, you kept getting burned on them
DUDE! THAT WAS AN AWESOME BUILD!!! YOU ARE SUPER TALENTED!!!!! Not sure if you know this but you are probably a modern day Rembrandt !!!! You are truly an artist, I love seeing your builds, to be so talented and so young is amazing!!! I love the color and it would be super if the top was gold, maybe a big double gold stripe up there! I was mesmerized watching this! Good work and good job! Thanks for sharing this! I hope you really enjoy having this and I hope it serves you well for a long time.
Biggest problem with those carts is the motor and electrics. It's usually the same motor for the basic two seater as for the extended version. And those bigger wheels require more power. A motor/electrical upgrade may be in order.
Awesome work. You can put in a switch at the plug and call it a kill switch. Like everything.
a lot of hard work but also very professionally done
Looks great! I have one I need to work on this summer. It is a two seater with a tilt dump bed on the back. My big expense will be replacing the batteries! The mother in law wants it up and running to do little errands around town. (Small town of 1300 people) That way she doesn't have to drive her mini van to go get the mail.
Just discovered this channel and have to say this guys got talent
gold top would be sweet...
killer job as always.. everyone wants a supped up Kart.
I really enjoy the transformation of the before and after and especially when you're going through it step by step, love it!
You deserve way more subscribers. Love watching you do these projects. Keep it up! Favorite part is always audio fabrication / install or lighting. Should add a rear view mirror to the golf cart for the driver as well! Much love!
Ah yes, knew I forgot to order something…
Knowing it’s for you I wouldn’t change a thing. 😊
If it was for a client,,,, I would properly clean out & scrub the bin under the driver’s seat.😮
Nice work! The welds were looking really nice too, by the way.
Thanks for sharing.
As an aside, I wanted to do these types of conversions as a retirement hobby and for a bit of income as well. There are so many guys doing it now in my area of the world that there’s just nothing in it! Haha. Oh well. I wouldn’t mind doing the work if I knew I could consistently break even. There’s a lot of instant gratification to doing these. Yours especially. That frame was gonna snap any day!! 😂😂.
Keep it up my fellow Floridian! Can’t wait to see what is the next project! Maybe do a video one day once the batteries die and do a lithium ion battery conversion.
Amazing win. This golf kart is drop dead gorgeous!
Zack is back...love your channel and always look forward to your next amazing project...this buggy is so cool...mad skills bro.
Great work, looks amazing, leave the roof as is, not just the Florida sun/heat but I love the contrast and your tribute to that FJ is on point IMO.
Only thing I would do is add a Tesla badge on the nose because it would be funny 😅
Thank you for capturing the peel of the front plastic film
Dude your skills as a builder and cinematographic, is out of the chart.
i love the colors that green and black seating is a good choice
Zach, you do great work. I am hooked on your channel. Never doubt yourself. The content is perfect and I enjoy that you don't edit out mistakes. Please keep up the videos. As a " boomer", you give me confidence that your generation will eventually thrive. I appreciate your effort.
Good job updating the cart.
Wow! Beautiful transformation. It will be interesting to know how much you could actually sell it for…great work.
Nice to see you back at it.
I just thought maybe it would be possible to put solar on the roof to charge the batteries…maybe that would be enough to drive for free with 😊
Awesome to see your experience at work, good to have a shop to work out of. Enjoyed the video.
Seeing this reminded me how much I love your videos!! Keep posting!!
Man that looks SHARP! who cares about the color you choose. They aren't paying for it. I think its a great choice.
I'm glad you up'd your game on air respiratory protection. Your eyes need protection too. You're a hard worker and that's great. Keep up!
Other UA-camrs when doing a project would wawawawa. Wa wa wa about 90% of their videos.
I love the fact that you dig in from start to finish without the wawawa wa wa wawa wa.
You did a really good job.
This is how I imagine HOA driving around looking for infractions 😂
Looks great. Love the colors!
Bad ass build dude! That alignment is killing me tho lol
Good looking cart. I dig those Nokias seat covers
Great project and the best is that you finished it hahaha. great video.
love the golf cart builds! hope this video takes off like the last one for ya
Good Job. First time viewer, and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Thanks
I love the color and bronze wheels with that color of green is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Green is an awesome colour 🤘🏽🔥💚😊
Zach my brother, thrilled as always to see another video from you! Beautiful work as always. I love that you tackle all aspects of the project, from the mechanical to paint/body, upholstery to electrical. I also really like the swirl finish dash but I didn't catch much about it - chefs kiss. Great value on the project as well, I was expecting you were like $4k into the build and was surprised when you said 2, great value and lots of meat if you were going to sell. Keep em coming and stay thirsty amigo!
Long time subscriber...first time commenter. Looks great. I really like the color, seats and interior. You do awesome work. Looking forward to the next one!
Looks great! Glad you are publishing more videos! Love your realistic approach!
Great Job!! So glad to see you back doing more unique builds, unusual to see an artist that can handle the mechanics, keep them coming!
Beautiful rebuild! Great job! Love the color.
Great show.! Great job.! Great color.! Just great.! 👍🏻
Oh I wish you would do a *gas-powered* lifted golf cart. 😢
Nice to see you back posting . Really like your projects and the way they turn out . Looking forward to seeing more .
Love everything about it! Well done Zach!
Major transformation. ULTIMATE
Great to see you at it again Zach! I love watching your videos, for some reason they keep my mind calm and grounded, youre a star, keep it up
Turned out great! Love the colors
Love it! Would be cool if you put a couple decent solar panels up top. Even better if it's left parked outside. You may never have to plug it in again. lol
I love the Nokins seat covers, just did that on my precident, for the price, couldn’t be happier
Well done Zach you've done a great job as per usual good to see you posting more again
Those wheels look killer!
Nice! Love it. I like the contrast of the white top. Overall you nailed it and really great inspiration for others like myself that are pretty diy able.
Very talented! I love how you recycle and restore! Keep them coming.
What an awesome job. Really cool. Love the color.
Good to see you back. I like your videos because it’s always something different, and you deal with whatever could be wrong or unexpected. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing all the hard work and videos.
You killed it bud. Looks amazing!! Keep it up.
Wow! Amazing job! Love everything about the golf cart. Your videos are always awesome! Thank you for being so fantastic!
That came out great, making me want to find a golf cart needing some help to come back to life. Keep up the great work!
That cart turned out great!! Keep them coming, I look forward to watching you're video's!
Looks great! Love the start to finish in one video!
Man the transformation on this was unreal! Very nicely done! Makes me want to do one too
My first time watching and I enjoy your work
I love these type of projects! Good to see you doing stuff again. You had some unsuccessful projects, but keep at it. Do what you are good at and keep it up.
Looks great Zach. Love having you back. Great job
That is a beautiful rebuild. I hope you have fun with it.
Glad you're back!
Build turned out amazing and up to your top standards!👍🏼
AS ALWAYS…. Absolutely Fantastic! You Rock !
I dig it, good job! The white top really makes it.
The only thing I'd do is put 2 circular lights up front instead of the light bar. More FJ-esq.
Lovely work. 1st video that I've seen of your rebuild and now I'm subscribed.
Looks fantastic. Amazing transformation, well done!!!!
Great job , very clean. The welding and painting skills are a plus for keeping cost down. My guess is the controller is going but would go to 48 volts before changing anything. Good luck !
Great job, Zach!
Really enjoyed this video, it's a nice change of pace from the marine stuff.
Great job on the cart! It looks awesome and this is one project I have been dreaming on for quite some time.
Awesome build! You color combo is with paint, interior, and wheels is spot on. Great vid to watch!
I love the color combination! What a sweet build.
Awesome work man! Love the colour scheme. I aggree that matching the roof with the wheels will look even better. Glad to see you posting vids again. Keep up the awesome work!
That looks amazing. It’s the perfect thing to take your gas powered surfboard to the beach lol
You did a fabulous job! That looks awesome!
I always enjoy your projects!!! Nice cart!
What a great video. Thanks for posting. Hoping for update on jet skis! You are the best.
I jist found this channel and Im still recovering from you paying $1500 USD for THIS... When you lifted the covers to show the rust, man... "quite rusty" is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
That thing is a beast now. Seats, wheels, all of it looks good
It's so nice to have you back!!! Your ideas and work are amazing and something that everyone can try out. Greetings from Greece!!!!
