More of this. The pontoons, watercraft, and golf carts are informative to watch.
Only thing I would add would be a front lower cover below the gill to fill the space. Just looks like a bump bar or something should be taking up that space. Other wise I really like all the up grades you made. Bronze wheels would also have looked good with the color to complement the body color. A blue tooth receiver and wired speakers hooked up to the battery I think would be easier in the long run not having to worry about charging the battery. Them maybe a dash with speed, battery, clock all in one unit if the make it.
Sure not the first to say but you have two sets of springs in the back. Coil overs plus leaf springs. I am sure a straight shock in back vs coil over (unless spring rate essentially zero). Great build. Always look forward to your content.
Enters golf cart. Leaves beach buggy! Always appreciate your work and attention to detail!
This is REALLY cool!!! It wouldn't be a "Zach" rig without the LED lighting!!! LOL Looks GR8 Zach!!! ~Chris
Nice! I think you just help me solve a problem. In two months I will be 91 and probably not driving much, I think this would be perfect for me to get around our retirement community. Need to look for one already converted however.😀
love these quick little turn around videos. especially with parts that can all be put on diy.
What a great bolt on option for anyone looking to fix up an old cart. Thanks Zach.
Great build! I really like the body kit and sound system. I think it needs a front bump bar to fill the space.
Also, it def needs one of those “purple power” motors!
Wow, what a transformation!
I really like your air jack! Nice lift kit! Nice wheels! Just an all around awesome ultimate rebuild!
I died at the *some may say 6 is above average* comment
Awesome work as always. Glad to see you're safe. I was thinking about you and your family.
All you need is the front bumper to fill in the space.
Hey Zac, hope you and your family are all ok after the storms?
Steve from the UK 👍🙌
Shout out to you seen the golf cart in person looks great A.k.a garbage man who stopped you the other day 💪🏽👍
Awesome! Btw my garbage can wheel is broken how can I get a new can? 😂
Lol just call the county and let them know its broken they will send someone to replace it
@@Luiscora561 you’re the best! Thanks!
You’re one of my favorite channels and I’m subscribed to a lot. I look forward to a video on the new motor for this golf cart. It looks awesome now it needs to run awesome!
Congrats, Zach! Really cool project, and it looks amazing!!
Only thing I'd have done differently is not installing the LED strips - just because they're not my thing....
Love this build, by far my most favorite channel!
Hot dog you are ready to move into the villages down there in Florida! Nice looking build!
Great job looks awesome.
Nice rebuild! The front spacers might be a bit much with how much the lift pushes the wheels out already, but hey, to each their own. A front bumper would be the finishing touch as well.
That thing looks sick!
That looks sharp 👍😎
Would love to see voice over to explain in real time your steps. Great video ! Keep up the good work
As always...excellent to watch and terriffic work! Kudos, man! You're an extraordinary young person!
Those wheels are sick ❤
I hope you and your family made it out okay with hurricane milton that one was a bad one and I'm not sure what coast you are on. But treasure island got hit bad real bad and twice the storm surge with helene and then the wind with milton. I used to live in Treasure Island when I was a teen and lived there for 4 years and loved it there.
Love the videos. I'd really like to see how much we would have spent if we bought all of those parts ourselves (minus the cart itself). Maybe an idea for future videos.
I'd like to see the upgraded motor....
Nice little runaround for your suburb.
Well done my man!
Awesome quick rebuild! Maybe I can do something like this for my kids.
Are you and your loved ones doing okay after helene and milton? We all wish you the best possible outcome!
For those curious about the cost to build, I was as well. I pulled all of the links and found pretty much everything else that was added (I think).
Here's the breakdown:
Body Kit - $1800
Lithium Battery + Charger - 1500
Lift Kit - $400
Wheels + Tires - $1000
Front Seats - $660
Rear Seat Flip up Frame - $670
Rear Seats - $670
Rear Seat Cooler - $92
Stereo - $550
Windshield - $190
Roof - $600
Underglow lights - $125
Front Shocks - $75
Bedliner - $200
New Metal for Battery Box - $50
Misc. Parts (wiring, hardware, fuses, etc.) - $100
+ Cost of cart (He mentioned "next to nothing"). I'm assuming $500, based on my area and if you can find a cart that's not rusted out with a good working motor.
Total Cost: ~$9k give or take
Hi Jim here great video. not to nitpick but the battery is a lifepo4 lithium iron phosphate you had spoke that was a lithium ion battery. Thanks love your channel Jim
Automatic like button engaged👍
Another good job!
looks great , thanks
Really enjoyed show. That was very interesting
The magic Floridian lawns, which absorbs every bit of plastics, wood, acid and others substances…….
Kidding, LOVED this episode
Front basket w light bar!!!
haha - well played on the lift kit. 6 inches might be slightly above average lol
Love it! Awesome job 👍🏻
But it’ll need mudguards.
Fantastic, your skills make these projects look easy , always look forward to your next video
Such a killer build, love everything you did with it. Let us know if you need help on a future project!
Great video and great looking cart. Unfortunately that is a 36 volt EZGO series drive system on the cart and there is no easy way to get more speed. You can upgrade the controller to a 500 or 600 amp DC controller but you would also have to upgrade the motor, forward reverse switch, and solenoid. You are probably looking at $2000 in parts to get where you want to be in terms of speed and torque. You could also do the AC conversion that someone mentioned previously. Also, a conversion to 48 or 72 volt system will help.
Put some extra brake lights on the rear grab bar or bumper for safety. The regular ones might be blocked by passengers. Third brake light on the underside of the roof is a good idea too.
The 2 extra leaves on the new rear leaf springs could have something to do with a stiffer ride? I would suggest some fender flairs over those aggressive tires to cut down on spray. Overall it looks GREAT!
The blurry footage remind me of the old Playboy Playmate center fold pictures … you may have to ask your dads about that one reference. Another great episode.
why did you space the rear wheels out and then push the fronts out even farther? They matched for like 5 minutes
Love the project! What was the cost of the makeover?
Nice work. What is the cost of doing the rebuild in comparison to buying a new cart? I really enjoy your content.
Well done!
6 inches is about the average, some people may say it’s above average…
NICE 😎
Looks good
100% Florida style
Looks great! Do those seats soak up the heat? I wonder if a lighter color would have been better.
6 inches is definitely above average
Those new leaf springs look more heavy duty, I’d suggest switching back to the old ones to check if that softens the ride before investing in new shocks and struts.
Also the front wheels look a bit wide on the video now. I’d like to see it without the front spacers. Or maybe just move the 1” spacers to the rear?
Awsome 👍. If i wanted to get a golf cart what model you recommend and what will approximately be the cost. Are all golf cart street legal in Florida.
Leave it with just the front lift on and you would qualify for the SC squat!!!!!LOL
How much did you get it for and how much are you into it? pricing would be nice to hear once in a while.
Add a solar panel on the roof to recharge the battery...if it's cheap enough.
Clean and paint the old wheels and body panels and sell them. Same with the motor. Could probably make a business of upgrading carts in retirement communities.
Your golf cart is better set-up than most 4wds.
Need more of the kei truck!
Working on it! Hard to find parts
@@ultimaterebuilds7127 best rebuild channel in youtube, so you know ill watch the other videos while waiting for it lol
keep the rear spring and shock just make a 4 link set up. the leaf springs are what's making it stiff.
Are there wider wheel wells you can get? Feel like with the wider wheels you’ll get a lot of splash back.
Looked like the wheels are rubbing the body kit as well, are you going to fix that and if so, how?
What’s the total cost of this whole rebuild
My guess is he has about the cost of a 2001 Toyota Camry into that golf cart.
Battery $1,000+
Body - $1500ish
Lift- $400-500
Wheels/tires $500-600
Add another $500 for other misc and you’ll be close to what he’s got into it.
@@Figure-it-outway more for all the stuff he replaced and added. Sponsored tho I’m sure.
@@jzlharvey It is significantly more than that no doubt. I was curious as well, went through and pulled all of the links and found pretty much everything else that was added (I think).

@@AverageTXAngler Damn, that's NICE, low mile, no dents, clean carfax 2001 Toyota Camry money.
Have you considered adding fender flares front and rear?
Pretty sick!!!!❤
How did you do with the hurricane? All good?
Got damn, the $$$ invested in this upgrade. Jeebus man. Im guesting $6K. Unless you got most of this shish free from sponsorship. The got damn wheels are $1100 alone.
Are there any updates on the Disney K truck/mini truck?
Working on the next episode
With those wheels, I’m guessing it’s hard to turn without rubbing.
I wish you could show more about the back step that you said folded up!!
Zach, another amazing build my dude! Do you plan on flipping this project? What’s the investment amount look like for an old golf cart plus rebuild parts, vs. what you can flip these for? I also live in FL and I know these are extremely popular. Love your channel, keep up the good work!
I was worried it wasn’t going to fit under the garage door
I'm confused. You said the front wheels stuck out farther than the back so you were going to get spacers for the back, but then you ALSO put spacers in the front, and it looks like the front still has a wider track than the rear.
LEGEND
My hero!
Instead of cutting the frame to fit the tires, could you move the front wheels forward to get clearance since you don't have any fenders covering the tires anyhow?
Hope the hurricanes were not too bad for you.
How did you guy make out after Milton?
❤❤❤❤❤❤awesome cart😊😊😊😊😊😊
Why’d you put spacers in front? Defeated the purpose of putting rear ones on if the front still stick out 5 inches out then the rear.
Nice build . Where the missile launcher
Where's the firepit??? Keeping the wider track width up front will give you a tighter turning radius.
Get a navitas motor and controller ac swap huge performance upgrade
I hope Milton didn't do much damage.
Need a bull guard bumper on it
Nice!!! But where do you put your golf clubs 😂
no nothing about these golf buggies, but wouldn't a bumper or nudge bar be handy on the front ?
Decent
Is any part of it original?
Was this, or would this be more cost-effective rather than buying one already done - especially after the motor upgrade? Otherwise, great content as always!
Where do the clubs go?
"6" is a average. Some says it's above average" 🤣
Should have hit the rust with some Eastwood Rust Encapsulator first.
