You know how the U-SH 405 is really annoying? The Raketenautomat is that, but more powerful and at a lower battle rating. Adding this to War Thunder in its current state was a mistake.

By the way: In Germany, the official word for 'vending machine' would be 'Verkaufsautomat', but everyone just says 'Automat'. For example there would be the 'Snackautomat', a vending machine for snacks. Now, this is the Raketenautomat and i hereby declare the official translation to be 'rocket vending machine'.

There is a problem here. This rocket vending machine send rockets for free. And gets them for free.
I think devs should give this thing a 10 sec full rack reload, so these "vending" machines could hold the points by blindly spamming shots in general direction.

the weird replenishment is due to the second (right barrel from your perspective) not actually showing its replenishment counter but still replenishing at the same rate, both barrels can replenish at the same time as well
Hey Spook, you should play the Semovente 75/46 M43. It's a deeply overshadowed italian tank destroyer which can deliver an heavy punch but it's deeply ignored the potential it has.

Germany's BR range is fucking crazy. This is 7.3 but the U-SH in Sweden is 7.7. Just like the Leo is 7.3 but the AMX-30 is 7.7? Makes total sense
as a french main i can confirm we do indeed suffer, gaijin uses our BR spread to balance us by force

PTZ89, 5 second autoloader at 8.7, pair that with the AFT09, WMA301 and the PTL02, and you have a very decent rat lineup, also the T-69 II G if you’re feeling especially ratty

you should try the Celere Sahariano, it looks like a very weird crusader, but is much faster and is classified as a medium tank, extremely fun

The reason why your game could be crashing is because of the sound mod files they have been unstable ever since la royale update for most people, what i did is i removed the sound mod files from the game to fix my issue personally to stop the crashing.

The crashing is very weird. Fixed mine by updating the graphics driver, but as you said, that didn't work for you and many others. Feels like Gaijin just randomly tossed different bugs at every player lmao

you should play the Type 62 from the chinese (or russian) tech tree, i think its a neat light tank
The only use for type 62 is bringing it to 8.0 and abusing the fact that people mistake it for an actually dangerous and heavily armored T54/T55

It actually has two separate ready racks and first stage ammo racks which operate independently from each other so you can shoot one launcher without messing with loading of the other.

I experienced the same issue with WT crashing without non of the troubleshooting steps helping to resolve the problem. What ended up helping me is updating to the latest Bios version for my motherboard
spookston pls try out the t34-100 if you havent already, its a very good premium with a 100mm gun with aphe that has 240mm of pen at 6.3, the only flaw is that its a t34 chassis so you can be 1 shot by everything at the front pretty much.

I also had that crash problem. Make sure you go for a complete uninstall of the graphics driver, not just the option to reinstall it gives you with nvidia

My War Thunder was crashing a lot recently as well. I'm talking blue screens, graphics being reduced to 144p, the works. What fixed mine was making sure the motherboard time and Windows 10 time aligned... I havent crashed since. Apparently having that misaligned messes with your ram
Funny thing is Automat could be translated as vending machine/dispenser (depending on context). A "Getränkeautomat" for example is a drink veding machine.

Gaijin has to understand that WT is not WoT. Since vehicles performance are bound to real documents, the balancing of the game depends on the vehicles you choose to add. This means that you can't take a tank and change the horse power of his engine like in WoT (for example). Gaijin need to think before adding new tanks (or planes or ships).
Also I challenge you (Spookston) to play the Lancia 3ro... If you wanna suffer a little bit.
Rethink before adding new tanks? AH, good idea, how about I charge 60 dollars for each of these tanks?
I figured out why the game crashes with new updates a long time ago, all you have to do in most cases (if you use the steam version) is to update the game using the launcher (chose the launcher option instead of loading into the game directly), because it downloads files that steam usually misses when updating it.

@@konst915 Ferdinand has an electric transmission, meaning that even if its not that fast, it will still have good acceleration and more than average speed uphill. So losing a race uphill against a Ferdinand isn't much of a downside.
On the other hand, thing has more ammo, better armor and another crew member with a not that major speed disadvantage. AND ITS LOWER IN BR ?
Its a shame they added this vehicle.
This is the same chassis as the HS.30, they could have added the LGS M40A1with an (exposed) recoiless rifle, and a 20mm gun. Which was used and would have been a bit more fun to fight I think.

pro tip: this hull is used on many german TD's in teh 6.3-8.3 range, and it can not be 50 cal'd unless you get the sides at a rlly good angle

@Spookston For the crashing of your game, any chance you have changed your screens?
I had same problem with multiple games, and for me it was a problem with the FPS/Hertz settings on my screens. Try playing with these settings, i went from 144 to 120 and nothing crashed anymore.

I wouldn't say the problem with taking fire from that vehicle or the U-SH is that it may seem like artty, but rather due to their rate of fire and the visual effects from the rockets even if they botch their first 6 volleys you won't be able to find them in the ensuing storm of explosions to effectively counter attack. Basically the only counter to these vehicles is just spot them first and take them out before they know you see them.
Spooks i took a break of asking you to play the m103 with solid shots only but I have faith that one day you will do it
Spookston you might try capping your frame rate around 80% of your monitor's refresh. I was having the same issue with the dead space remake and it helped
Hey spookston, do you know how to completely reinstall all the drivers on a laptop, when i upgraded the internal storage on mine i dont think i installed all the drivers correctly and sometimes that leads to my laptop either turning itself off or completely crashing out of nowhere

On that same BR there are tanks where you have to aim and carefully position yourself and then there is this thing with near unlimited ammo, unlimited pen and basically no need to aim

Truly OP vehicle, thanks for the video. I don't play much these days and I'm kinda out of the loop. BTW what are your graphics settings? I use "Maximum" preset, with SSAA 4x, XeSS & DLSS off, however since a few patches I get annoying FPS drops. Before I had 80-100, now I have 50-70. And I have pretty good PC I think, 3070 GPU & 5600X Ryzen
You’ve gotta try the pbil. 6 crew and fast, only problem is if your only two crew alive are the two drivers then neither of them will become a gunner and you just don’t have a gunner anymore.

you should do a video on the new french VBC, i have it in my 9.0 lineup with the AMX 30 super but i've found it just cant really keep up against the other IFVs at its BR, it has top tier features like the LWS/LRF and thermals and a stabilizer but it's completely useless against MBTs unless you do nothing but flank
