Surya Namaskar is ancient yoga techniques. Which is the worship of sun . Every day in the morning and 11 round can bring positive energy flow throughout your body which can prepare you for the day.
In San salutation there are 24 yoga asanas. some of them are repeated twice.

My favorite part of these teachings is the biomechanics of how the body should be functioning through each moment. Also, when you go "No problem, do..." in the case where someone can't reach a pose due to inflexibility. Great stuff!
This is the pbm with u some of the west PPL..don't say all these bio mechanics.. understand the body n it's spirituality n also how we are respecting SUN 🌞 GOD

Thanks a lot. Wonderful video. One question- when people talk about 108 Surya Namakars, do we need to do 108 rounds (1 left and 1 right I.e. 24 Asans ) OR 1 cycle of 12 asans ??
And the often quoted value of 13.9 cal burned by doing 1 Surya namaskar - is it for 24 asans or 12 asans ?

That was a great step by step explanation. Many years ago at yoga I was taught that if you only practice Sun Salutations, as beneficial as the practice is, that as it doesn't include side bending and twists, that it's good to add at least one side bending pose and a twisting post to your practice so that the spine is taken through it's full range of motion. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this : )
You are right after sunset location you can do some asanas for sidebending And twisting
