I do mine every year along with the Differentials, approximately every 20k. It’s cheap and easy for peace of mind and don’t want any problems. I purchase my fluids in bulk to bring the cost down.
Every 48 months or 80.000 km, which occurs first according to the maintenance manual of the OEM. I have the 3.0 L Diesel GC WK2 2016 and I performed it already once. For the tighting of the screw it is also recommendable to respect the torq specs of the OEM (15-25 ft.Lib).
@@RoadiJeff , once you respect the owners manual, you do not have to change the oil of the gearbox and the front and rear diffs! Would you really do it? 12 yaers wirh he same oil in the differentials .... Wow....there will be no more a warranty on your car,so the OEM will be happy to see you, trust me. The same with the automatic transmission...never change the oil....if you stick to this.....the repair starts from 10.000 USD. The OEM of the transmission (The German company ZF) recommends the oil change of the transmission for the first time at ca.60.000 miles and than every 30.000 to 40.000 miles depending on your drive stile.
@@ivaningbg-73 I have a MOPAR MaxCare lifetime warranty. As long as I do not go beyond the recommended miles and years in the maintenance schedule any parts failure that is not a normal wear and tear item is covered.
Thank you for this! Just did mine and the diffs. Right pain getting that fill hole open on the transfer case!!!

Isn’t the fill hole plug on the right side of the transfer case?
No, you’re thinking of the rear differential
It’s not the same for trackhawks . The service instructions for tc transfer case 3015 says not to use the rear top fill plug.
How many miles did you change this at?

Changed mine when it started bumping during acceleration. 150k miles
@@ivaningbg-73 The maintenance schedule in the owner's manual for my 2018 GC says to change it every 120,000 miles or 12 years.
