I fried my PCM due to a purge from the engine overheating. This $30 part could’ve saved me the 3k it cost to buy and reprogram the PCM lol

My passenger side was a 'challenge'. First off the wiring was so short I almost couldn't get it out far enough to press than magic release which in my case took some angled needle nose. The part somewhat glossed over in the video, or at least in my case was a PITA was getting the bulb back into the socket. This seemed to be related to the shortness of my harness as I had a very hard time getting the bulb to go forward as the connector was still hitting the opening of the housing. That cam lock was designed by an engineer with the housing setting on a bench and NOT actually on the car.

Try leaving in second gear I have a svt cobra fully built with 4.10 and first gear is worthless you get no grip or speed if you leave of the line in second and roll into it perfectly you’ll get way more grip and good 0to60 I hit 100 + in third gear

I read that it's not recommended to use anti seize because it will not give you a proper torque value is this true?

I do mine every year along with the Differentials, approximately every 20k. It’s cheap and easy for peace of mind and don’t want any problems. I purchase my fluids in bulk to bring the cost down.

So glad I found this. Your explanation of the lock ring that cannot be seen was a critical bit. Jeep Dealership wanted over $400 for a single bulb, plus install! I only did the passengers side, and used a NAPA OEM replacement bulb. My SRT is a 19 and wears the same paint. Thanks for taking the time to makes and share this video.

Did you have to trim your factory wheel studs when you used the wheel spacers?

I replaced mine yesterday. What came out was an OSRAM bulb. So I believe the factory uses that brand. Mopar doesn’t make bulbs so they just buy them from that company and puts their name on the packaging. And that tab he’s taking about it a lock ring that keeps the bulb in place. If you don’t turn that you can’t get the bulb out and if you don’t turn it back afterwards your bulb will fall out of the hole.

So what are the times of RT after the mods you showed the Dyno but never any runs showing the results they had off the Dyno which is more important than Dyno that's like guys who build a jeep to flex on a ramp and brag about rti scores it can't climb a waterfall on the trail . The SRT only has about 360 HP to the wheels stock so the modded rt was almost 330 and had 3 .45 gears so it should be much closer to the jeep numbers if the Dyno meant anything.

Not hp related but I'm swapping rear lights on 13 RT to racetrack and the new center doesn't have a provision for the little lock button that right after the dodge logo ? I read and. Loosely came up with 2014 had somewhere near the latch handle and then came across a read of a person who said they couldn't find one anywhere on there 2022 ? Just wondering if they discontinued that feature ? I don't use it but like to retain shit but obviously I'll just tuck the wiring up of there is no way to incorporate it. Ordered my ripp today ...😅

Did you give it enough miles for the diablo tune to settle in? You can't just program in a tune at the Dyno shop and then go right on the dyno. You have to drive at least 100+ miles for the ECM to relearn the new tune.

I just ordered headers, 6.4 intake manifold swap kit , ported TB, tuner , and a few other items Saturday and tiday Sunday sent emails to cancel those orders in hopes they dont ship since all were closrd yesterday. The reason being is I had $4k soent for what will only be about 40hp in Colorado at 5k plus elevation and for about another $1600 I can simply ripp charge my r/t and gain 120-150 wheel hp then add other stuff like headers later on .I put on a awe cat back I meed more than 30-40hp gain to match the sound now😅. Not knocking the mods done hete just seems like its alot of money for the hp vs the blower ? If modern muscle doesn't cancel the order B4 shipping ill sell the 6.4 swap kit to a denver area resident for $800 since thats all I'd get back from the $1100 ...its a nice kit all wiring and srv switch but useless with a charger kit .

Why not attach the new caliper before disconnecting the brake line from the old so you don’t drain so much fluid and have less bleeding to do.

Got this done at modern muscle with long tube headers and tb with tune. Now it throws a no bus code, reset everything with battery disconnect. Code came back after 94 miles. Taking to dealer in couple days, will be sending bill to modern muscle afterwards.
