This is one of the clearest, most helpful videos I have seen for making a fabric pouch! I never would have figured this out on my own. A big thank you for providing such a fabulous, visual tutorial!
Thank you so much for doing the tutorial on making a project bag. I have been setting up a space for my sewing machine and one of the things I want to make is project bags so this tutorial is very timely. I love the ones that you have done and would be so happy to own this one. Thanks again, and I look forward to your next video. Happy stitching.............
Hi Liza thanks for sharing with us the way you make your project bags and where to find the information on them as well. Love that fabric you used stunning.
Hi, Lisa. Thanks for showing how to make that bag. It seems easier than I thought it would be. I'd love to have it to use for my stitching projects. Tjanks. Patty
Thank you for a great tutorial. You made it look so easy and I do plan on having a go. You used such pretty fabric. Love the sparkle. I’d be thrilled to have a bag like that one
Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial!!! I am going to make one tomorrow. The bag you made is just lovely. I only hope mine turns out as good as yours. Have a great stitchy week.
Very nice bag! Thanks for sharing. I love the pull - I think it sets the sparkly fabric off nicely. You did a great job with the video. Happy stitching!
Made this this afternoon...have never sewed a zipper 😱. Note to self, not so close to zipper(at least I didn't sew the zipper closed👍. My next one will be better. Thank you so much. Love your video too.
I enjoyed the tutorial. The pumpkin fabric is perfect for your project bag. I have never put in a zipper, but after watching , I believe I will give it a try!!!
Love the bag!! Thank you so much! I read the instructions but since I am a visual person, watching your video helped me to understand the instructions!
I feel as though I have watched a zillion tutorials and your is by far the clearest! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! I'm going to try to make one!!!😀
Thank you for the tutorial. I am in the middle of completing other time -sensitive projects or I would have gotten back with you sooner. I do enjoy your videos! Keep stitching!
Thanks, Lisa! You are so clear! For as many times as I’ve sewn bags, I’ve never thought to make 2 different sized rectangles 😊😂 (I’ve done 3 rectangles.) I’m gonna make some of my own- also thanks for the midweight interfacing info. I can’t do UA-cam messaging either
It was great seeing kinda how one would make a bag. I'm not great with a machine but at some point I would like to try. My birthday today so I'm feeling the birthday luck will continue lol.
Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial. I love the beautiful bag and I love watching your you tube channel. Thanks again and I am going to try one of these for myself...I am a very beginner sewer. Hope it will turn out as well as your has!!
Thank you so much for this great tutorial Lisa! Even though I did download the Avery Claire instructions from FB, it is so great to see this actually done in a tutorial. You did a wonderful job and the bag is really cute!
Really loved the bag, thanks for the tutorial. I always had problems with the fold at the top, you did a great job of clarifying it! Off to my sewing machine!!
Thank you for the really useful video. I'd love the bag, it would be so much prettier than the plastic carrier bags I'm currently using! I want to try making my own bags so I'll be watching this video again several times, I'm sure 😊
You made this look so easy! I’ll have to try this once I get back to sewing. I would love to have this bag as fall is my favorite season and this is such pretty fabric! Thanks for the tutorial!
I just laughed out loud about the zipper - yes! I just sewed bag using a different tutorial and I learned mine wasn't perfectly straight... it's definitely not a wedding gown!!! Haha 😄 thank you for this great, clear explanation!
OMG!!! talk about beautiful!! I just made one like Primative Stitcher on you tube showed. But I like how you did the zipper part!! And the way you actually sewed the parts together.. SO MUCH EASIER!!! THANKS!!
I love the bag! Thanks for the tutorial, I already had the Avery Clare page saved, but I'm deathly afraid of zippers lol. Me and math don't get along. But I'm going to try soon :) Janet
I know this video is almost 5 years old but I wanted to thank you for keeping me from throwing my first attempt away! I am an expert seamstress and my mother always taught me that a "good seamstress always rips" BUT...the written pattern did not work for me. Part of my challenge was my fault since I chose a large plaid as the lining. And yes, I had to match the plaids! Just for fun I added a small pocket to the lining. I can't ever make anything without changing it to suit me. On to the next one...which will now take me 1/2 the time and aggravation. Hugs, Carol
Love the bag! Very helpful to see it done... I've made a project envelope ala Vonna and I want to try this kind as well as one with clear vinyl ala Mama Joan... just waiting for supplies to arrive. They are currently on the slow boat (literally.)
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I’m trying to find some sewing projects to teach this spring at my after school program-I think this will be perfect!
Thank you for showing this. I like the ways the zipper ends are done, easier than what I have done in the past. I think I'll prep some fabric and hopefully get one done this week. One question, where do you find the zipper pulls. I like that finishing touch for the bag.
Hi Lisa, thank you SO much for your great tutorial! I could not find the pattern on the Avery Claire site? Thank you for the great tutorial.
I Googled averyclaire.org and there were subsections. One was Project Bag - Tutorial. Hope that helps.
@@kindredstitcher And the bag tutorial is still there. Nice!
