I followed your instructions and my bag came out wonderful. I used batting since I like the thickness and structure it gives when I quilt the back and front pieces. Oh my I will make a few more that are not appliqué fronts. Your bags are beautiful thank you so much.
I have never made a project bag before. But you are a very good teacher. I have save this tutorial . I definitely will be following you. Your teaching is very clear.

I LOVE LOVE how you explain all details. I am a visual learner and so appreciate you!! I am new to your channel but will LIKE and SUBSCRIBE !! I will make one today !! Keep them coming and Thank you for your time. !
I have been making project bags for awhile, but I learned some tricks and tips here. I just turned out the absolute best one I have ever made!! You are the best teacher!!! I am so grateful that you took the time to make this video. Now I am going to go check out all of your other tutorials and videos. Thank you so much, Sharon
Such a cute bag. The white tool you did know the name of is called a Hera marker. Paper makers use it a lot to indent paper for a sharper fold. Also, if you cut some of the excess fabric off the corner, without cutting your seam, you can get sharper corners when you turn your bag inside out.
I just found your video. i have made a bag similar to this, but I loved your process. Especially the zipper pulls and sewing the lining to the exterior. Thanks for sharing.
this is such a good tutorial - so clear and you are a natural teacher - thank you - Ive just made one and now going to make another one for another embroidery project ...
I have made quite a few of your vinyl front bags and love the way they turn out, thanks to your instructions! This one is so cute I will have to try some. You do a great job of showing us how to make them!!! Thank you!
Girl.....this is the best set of instructions I have seen....and I've watched alot of videos. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and information.
this video deserves like 20 thumbs up and i haven't even finished watching it yet but i have to go to work (ugh!) but i'm so excited! i'm at about 16 mins into video and i just love how amazingly clear and helpful you are. i can't wait to continue watching after work. a million thanks for taking the time to make this video (it is so well done) and then for being so generous as to share it.
What a thorough step by step tutorial. All of your sewing tutorials are excellent. I hope you will be doing more in the future. Any chance you would do a quick video showing how you made your ironing board?
Debbie Doud I’ve had a few people ask for ironing board tutorial, perhaps I can do one. My husband cut wood and then I added batting and fabric and staples it to the back. I’ll see what I can do :)
Sharon I love the way you explained everything and made it sound like anyone could do it. I appreciate all your efforts in making this project and inviting one to do. I can't wait!
I am truly a beginner, and want to thank you for the awesome instructions! Just finished my first bag and while not perfect it looks pretty good and is definitely functional!! I had trouble with the zipper and don't have any different feet for my machine...so that's a little crooked and I didn't stitch close enough to the teeth. But, I'm gonna give it another go cause you can't have to many project bags! Thanks again!
Hi, this is a super helpful video. Could you advise which fusible fleece you used please? I bought some that wrinkles up and and has caused my fabric to picker- thank you!
Jenn, I am trying to make a project bag following your instructions. I am having trouble figuring out how to sew the last part - the side seams. I have the top stitched, the bottom with the 5" opening. I tried stitching the sides together but when I pulled everything out my zipper was at the very top of the bag and my bottom seam was not at the bottom. Does that make sense? Please give me any advice as to what I am doing wrong. Thanks so much!
Sheila Ingle hey! If you watch 42:50 mark I try to explain how I manipulate the bag. Do you know if you had the layers correct before sewing the sides? Please feel free to message me on Instagram and send me a pic and I can try to help :) jenn_crafts

Muy buen tutorial.
thankyou for the tutorial but can we make the bag bigger or does it have to be that size only
debby duarte the portuguese stitcher you can definitely make the bag bigger! :)
@@JennCrafts thankyou i will have to try
did you realize that with your juki you do not need to use a zipper foot. just use the foot your machine came with it works perfectly and saves so much time.
Linda McNeely yes when I get lazy I use the regular foot lol. But I do find that the zipper foot gets me closer to the zipper which I like :)
