I bought a "very affordable" watch which came with fluff on the dial & some smears on the underside of the crystal, disappointing, after watching a few of your mod guides vids & a few others more specific to my problem I bought the rodico, finger cots, puffer & tools to clean it myself. Despite me fully expecting a disaster at every moment it actually worked out really well, although I cleaned it three times before I was completely happy but I am now the slightly smug owner of a very clean "very affordable" dirty dozen homage which is getting much more wrist time than expected (field watch phase), this is mainly down to you & Dan from "Watch me with watches" so big thanks for the encouragement. Funny story, I struggled with two different case back tools trying to get the screw down case back off, it defeated me, I took it to a local jeweler & it defeated him too, until, he noticed it was actually just a pop off case back disguised very convincingly as a screw down. Oh how I nearly laughed. Bugger!
Oh man, that's funny!!! I feel like I go thru a field watch phase often! Awesome that you decided to get your hands dirty and clean up your watch! Thanks for watching!!!
Hey Pete, I really enjoy your videos, they are very informative and entertaining; Keep in crankin em out. Is that a Murphy Manufacturing movement holder that you are using? I need to get one of those.

Just what I was looking for! This helped me so much. I just had to fix a SRP777 that was driving me nuts that the chapter ring was off. Great vid!
Sweet man! Glad it helped!
Great video! Love the modding content. I cannot wait to mature my modding and watchmaking abilities. Thanks Pete.
Thanks man, they are fun to do!
Good vid Pete👍🇬🇧

Love the channel, cool yo yos and watches.keep up the great work.
Thank you! Means a lot!
Excellent video. Thank you
A little tip for you in the future, spread a little turpentine on the adhesive tape, and then you can slide the insert about a lot easier.
Great video....informative....also nice watch mod....
Thank you! Pretty cool looking mod, did that one for Random Rob.
I also have a SRP777 with misaligned chapter ring, I will try your method
Good stuff. I haven't done moding but I hope to some day. Just not into mass frustration probably why I never picked up Golf. Lol
I must love to torture myself, I like both those things!
Curious , what case / mvt/ dial / insert / crown etc.. Great job & explaining !! Thanks.
All the parts were from namoki. They were sent to me so I don't know the exact parts but they're pretty easy to find on their site.
Great vid. No peep the lume? 😩
Blasphemy, how'd that happen!

Thank you! And good eye, it is indeed a Murphy, it's hands down the best Seiko holder I've used.
@@ChillinwitWatches I just purchased the Murphy movement holder. Thanks for flickering the bulb in my head to order one of those...😂
Do you have to remove the crystal to put the inner chapter ring? Or can you go from the bottom?
Gotta remove the crystal unfortunately
@@ChillinwitWatches thank you
Is it possible to move the bezel?
