Great video fella. I’m just starting and want to swap out my crystal in my new SKX007 for a flat/clear/Sapphire. I’ll go ahead with it myself after watching this. Many thanks.
Great video 😎👍 the only things I have left to do on my 5KX is the crystal and the crown, I'm so Paranoid about messing up but the bezel insert was a breeze so the next steps I'll take more calmly 😎👍
Yeah, I'd say if Hardlex is scratched go for it. Nowadays I feel if Hardlex is not scratched, best to leave OEM. I used to swap flawless Hardlexs for Sapphire just because 🙄
If keeping water resistance integrity is critical to you, it is not recommended to mod your watch. I feel if done correctly, the watch should remain water resistant but not sure to what depth. You could purchase a water pressure tester from Amazon or eBay for around 200$ but those seem to only test up to 6 Atmosphere depth. I don't dive or swim with any of my modded watches. If I were to do that, I would wear one of my G-Shocks or unmodified watches

Ok cool ! Yeah just be careful and it will be fine. I've made plenty of mistakes by not taking my time
What a good video. Thanks!
🙏😀
If you're concerned about water integrity should you test it to the full 20 ATM or just half that? Thanks so much again! Great video!
I can see myself doing this to my SKX, the Hardlex got a few scratches over the years... it's Saphire time.

Great and Very helpful video. Help !! is the Bezel on a Seiko V732-OP30 built into the case.? I plan to replace the Sapphire
i'm not familiar with that model but it does look to be part of the case. You can still replace crystal no prob if you find a compatible crystal
your video deservers more views, is it easy to damage the movement or is it worth paying someone? Thanks!
These seiko movements are pretty robust. I only damaged one and that was because I dropped it and stem broke off inside movement. Thanks for comment!
Does the slim single dome work with a regular slanted bezel insert?
If you mean a sloped bezel insert, a flat crystal wont look good with it
will the watch remain waterproof after this operation? would it be wise to take it diving?
