I'd say it was more than alright
Rarely do I find something better than the original .. but you guys did it. Simply put? AMAZING...
This is the result of combining true talent with professionalism: perfection!
oh my......I never tire of this song...and this is a very tasty rendition
F & F are the best cover band of all time. Every single member is so talented. Tim really knows how to conduct and put it all together. One day the world will discover F & F and ask why didn't we hear about them before now. My guess is your looking at a group of people who do not seek fame or fortune. They love what they do. They have been blessed by what they do. And they are very content right where they are making beautiful music for us to enjoy.
Your analysis is correct.
The part where it is just Sammie and her dad - sounds like one voice - I've never heard anything like it - awesome!!
Familial voices almost always blend the best. My brother and I have been singing together for more than 50 years and have had that same reaction. Furthermore, singing well in unison is very difficult. Listening is the key. Sammy and Tim are exceptional, to say the least. They are all really talented musicians.
never really noticed it before... spot on !
You are right. that blew my mind.
Exactly what I was gunna say.....trippy
When you sound amazing with no instruments, that says something!
Its Amazing how much the instrumental breaks bring to this
Sammie's high harmony gives me the chills. And Darrwn singing bass. I don't know much about music but this is soul stirring stuff.
(Darwin)
You know plenty...
Sammie's is great, but they switch the chords around alot, and sometimes Chase is actually singing the highest part.
I just stumbled across this group but, having recently parsed out the harmonies and performed this piece w a group, I really appreciate that the bass voice is faithful to Don Felder’s part(mostly) as it’s an ascending vocal line and departs from the rest of the voices.
Most any cover I see, if they include a fifth voice to begin with, just follow the rest of voices in a descending direction.
This is as good as it gets
Amen
Wow, that Intro just overpowers you.
One of my all time favourites. I would like to hear Sammie and her dad do "Country Roads" after that spectacular unison.
Love the mandolin in this. Excellent harmonies too
Just one example of why the U.S. South has produced so much God‐given talent...☮
Well holy shit and all the Amazing. You all hit every awesomeness. Brought tears to my eyes. Thank you. Incredible cover
My goodness. That's some incredible harmony! Talented folks.
Five part harmonies are incredible.
And rare
Love that deep bass vocal.....!!!
Things do really evolve well with Darwin.
Very good, Amy!
An outstanding cover group from GA that does R&R, Country, Folk etc.
Dang! Really got it going on this one.
So happy that you finally got UA-cam to recognize that this isn't owned by Eagles!
Now if only the Eagles recognised it wasn't owned by the Eagles...
After listening to this F & F Seven Bridges Road cover, I had to search for and listen to all of the Foxes and Fossils that I could find.
Click on the F&F logo for their complete video list.
I'd say pretty perfect 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Darwin your bass singing is just beautiful
He is very talented.
Standing ovation from Ohio!
No need to do it again, it came out great! Congratulations to all the performers and to the sound engineer for an excellent cover. Thank you for sharing.
Oh Yeaaaaaaaaaah...Seven Bridges Road Cover!
Oh that harmony blend is like warm butter on a maple syrup waffle. Sweet!
Greg Hanson Excellent description-as long as someone hasn’t ruined that syrup by sticking it in a microwave. 🥴
Mmm! Waffles.
What a description Greg... spot-on.
Good lord, that was outstanding, guys
I keep coming back to this. Man...all y'all...
Belting it in that upper register must feel amazing…I listen with amazement
SAMMIE!!!
Good Lord, This Is Awesome!
Wow....that one makes an old man cry.
WOW that’s absolutely awesome. The harmony is GREAT. Very beautiful!!
You all are the best. Truly. Thank you.
Darwin's bass harmony adds a fine element, but the father-daughter trebles blend like a single voice. I'm going to play it again.
and again, and again, and again.
Spot on!!
The father-daughter treble is amazing. It sounds to me like they are singing the same note in the same octave. It’s great whatever it is.
That's exactly what I was thinking. They sounded like one person singing.
Like interlocking strands of double helical DNA.
That tone at the beginning of Darwin is Frickin Awesome!
Love all of you with all my soul.
Yea do it again and again. Love this harmony.
I'm glad you got it cleared through the tube police, well worth the wait.
The harmony is as good as - or actually better than - The Eagles whom I saw perform this song at Pine Knob back in '79.
Still loving how you all do this song! Thank you....
That makes a sick man feel good. Thank you.
Well done👍👍
Perfect harmonies. Haven't heard this song done better since the Eagles.
See also the amazing cover on Home Free channel.
Steve Young actually wrote this song.
Great job, I have seen the Eagles do this in concert a few times. This is just as good!!
Everybody take a bow. More quality as usual
Heart and brain syncing in tune of melody
One of my favorite songs. Harmony voicing is a subtle touch that creates an enormous effect on music. Very near the end, someone asked "Do you want to do it again?". The answer should be, "No. That was magnificent!
your our favorite band!
WOW!!!!!
That's all I got!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Playing havoc with my work from home ethic... Grabs my attention from the opening bar right to the end.
As a lifelong Eagles fan, I can say without hesitation that your rendition here is PERFECT. Well done Foxes and Fossils!
agree very much... this rendition is absolutely PERFECT!
.... Yeah... What he said...... Perfect
The Eagles covered this song, they didn’t write it. Just an FYI.
@@1BobsYourUncle Thanks Alan. Yes, I was aware of that. Regardless, the Eagles made the song popular and set the standard for performing the song. These folks met that standard in my opinion.
Stand4 Right but you’re not giving credit to the original writer.. Steve Young first released on the his album Rock Salt and Nails... should change your handle stand4 right. BS
Tim and Sammie sound like one person with two voices. Incredible! Also love the Uke-bass.
I only saw a bass his once in a shop. I picked it up and played it a bit. The way it vibrated in my hands, it felt alive.
Now that's harmonizing....WOW
Wow wow wow!!! Awesome! You guys are wonderful!
Father & daughter was matched ALMOST perfectly, to the point that it sounded like one voice a few times. :-)
That miniature bass was pulling it great, considering how small it was!
Love the sound of that low base voice.........
Exactly! And that's what's missing in the Eagles' version. Check out the 'Home Free' version, it also has this very low voice.
@@ricklee5431 Mr Felder didn't make that bass part rattle
@@ferdinandimposter691 I am sure there is some criticism imbedded in your elaborate comment.
Well, I’m speechless.
Everything's All Right all right!! .....Well Done! Love It
Another year later. I keep coming back and am totally blown away. Incredible
Thank You Darwin for waking up my subwoofer and letting it speak.
Perfect... I am speechless
At eye level with the Eagles. Epic
When Sammie hits the high note .... 2:13. “if ever you ⬆️DECIDE⬆️you should go”... wow that’s up there..masterful.. even better with head phones.only a special few are comfortable in that upper register.. bravo Sammie
scott Mackenzie I agree with you Scott definitely best with good set of headphones, I use them to listen to there songs, really nice sound!
These five voices are awesome!!!
70 excellent cover songs on the list here (click on their round picture above).
@@lynwessel2471 You are right, I especially like the songs with harmonic voices 🤗
Another great song from all of you love it.
Hard work and talent is a beautiful thing.
Guy doing the bass part of the harmony owned this song.
Edit: Everyone did a fantastic job of course. It's just the bass part was what made the tune pop for me.
Community effort.
They *all* own it, but the "guy doing the bass part" is the remarkable Darwin Conort. Check 'em all out: foxesandfossils.com
Yup. Brought it.
Darwin does it all. His lead vocal on "runaway" was stellar too. Sammi and Tim my God how tight can harmony get whoa.each one of them fantastic.
Darwin was great but I think he'd say he was a baritone. A true bass singer would get even lower. Meanwhile, I loved the Kala 'U Bass' playing the bass part. It looks like a uke, is made by a uke company but is the closest we've got to a stand up bass--thanks to it's big fat rubbery strings.
The best version of this song you’ll ever hear.
Another very good one is by "Home Free". Video here on YT
Steve Young wrote this song.
Y’all please continue to live the dream !
Incredibly good.
Best version I have heard since the Eagles .
I think I'm a little closer to heaven when I hear Foxes and Fossils - beauty in these times of confusion ....
You are such great people.....Peace
I can't stop listening to F! I am addicted! Never understood Fandom until FF.
Thank you Mr Steve Young for writing such a great song, ( that the Eagles did a version of), this is also a great version,,,RIP Steve Young, 🧡
Great voices.
Bravo to all! All we need is Joe Walsh! He's a great guy! Thank you for this!
Wow!! Just wow!
You guys are amazing. Thank you so much.
Needed a Monday pick me up. No version is better...makes the hair on the back of head stand at attention, while bring tears to my eyes...quite literally...
seems lot of folks like this.
Mr King and his uke! Priceless grin on the big fella!
Sublime!
With that harmony and phrasing, they could be 5 siblings. Fabulous.
Pure gold, just fabulous!! Bravo!!!
Record Producer: Are they any good?
The Whole World: Yes!!!
@@ronaldrid5771 eh, different!!
Alex NutCasio why in the hell don't these "beautiful" people don't have a recording contract??????
Awesome!!!!!! Big Smile on my face!!!!!!! Great job F&F!!!!
Huh ! Just as good as all the other times I watched this. Goose bumps again.
damn that is mana for the brain, energy for the soul. #Inspired
Just when you thought it couldn't get any better..this happened..absolutely awesome..
goosebumps, lovely
Two generations sure do know how to make beautiful music 👍
I love seeing Tim and Sammie singing the one measure. I sometimes have the opportunity of singing with my daughter and son but not as often as I would like and I know how special that can be, especially for a dad!!!!
Do you wanna do it again?? Are you kidding? Here's a tip Tim, you can't make perfect, better. This was an emotional experience. Tnx again for your music.
Can’t get enough! 🎼👍
Cant stop watching these gems!
I thought I'd watched and listened to every F&F video... how did I miss this one for two whole years??!!!! AMAZING!!! Love it, love it, love it! ❤❤❤❤❤
Click on the F&F logo for their complete video list. Make sure you didnt miss any others!
just beautiful. Thank you!
Love the sound of the base vocalist
That's Darwin Conort, on the far left!!
That gave me chills. 😃
