Absolutely epic performance of a great Clapton song. I love how Quinn shares the spotlight with his band. Humble young man with tremendous talent and heart. My oh my how we will enjoy seeing and hearing him develop as he grows.
Real musicians, playing real instruments playing REAL music! Man is it refreshing to see the younger set taking up the banner. Supurb!
I second that.👍
Amen
Absolutely !!
TRUTH!
Good as it gets!
One of my favorite Clapton songs , and this kid made it his own, he’s super talented 👍
One word. Wow.
Everybody is always complimenting his guitar work but im here to say hes an awesome vocalist as well!
Eric Clapton would be proud of you Quinn . This is great .
😊💜☮️🎼🎸
holy shit, dude can tear it up
We've watched Quinn grow up and not comparing but like Joe Bonamassa, Quinn's got the chops. See you at the top. Hope we see you in concert in the Toronto area sometime.
Pride of New Bedford, Mass. He’s been doing this since he was single digits.
I've had my eye(and Ears) on Quinn for a few years now, he's got what it takes...
The first time I saw this guy he was a very little kid on stage with Buddy Guy and then I checked his videos out after he'd grew up and I'm still at a loss for words . He's absolutely one of the greatest guitarist out there today .
He was wearing a black tux, when he played with Buddy Guy, he truly is a gifted guitar player, and with a great voice as well. Going out on a limb here, he could very well be the next Clapton!!!
@@B5Blue1968 I totally agree ! Him and Santana does Maggot Brain better than anyone I've ever heard .. And to be honest with you Quinn just blows him completely off the stage when he steps out there and one more thing.... Quinn didn't do half of what he could have if he'd really wanted to ! And you know what.... your comment really helps me to know that they're still good people that knows music and understands it like you do.. I've made comments about Quinn especially in the last few years of him growing up and it really got a little heated between me and a few of them . And it was just them trying to dog me out and throwing doubt and shade towards Quinn and they had never heard him play because Everytime I bring it up to get em to watch a video they always have excuses 😂 Reality is that they really don't have a clue about who's a good musician and who ain't . My whole family is some very talented musicians and most of them plays gospel music but anyways I'm no professional especially about music but I'll tell you one thing.... Bring em from near and far and line em up against Quinn and I'll put my money on him Everytime.... everyday... anywhere and anyway !
Me too
I'm as impressed with his voice as his amazing guitar chops. Incredible.
Tom Scott I agree, he's got a great voice!
Yes me also 🎤🎸
I like his shoes.
@@kajem575 XD Somebody sign this guy for his shoes!
BEAST of a player
I was there that night and Quinn was amazing. He is a wonderful live performer. I ve seen him twice since, once guesting on stage with Joe Bonamassa....Now that was special.
Never heard a better guitar solo. Quinn...... Respect.
He ripped that amazing right.
I'm sold. Wow. When he intentionally let the amp feedback in the intro, just like in the original, I knew it was going to be something special, and it was. This kid has chops
to spare. Best cover I've ever heard of that song.
Keep saving classic rock Quinn
Wow Buddy found a great guitar player and singer. He and his band did a fine version/ cover of this old Clapton / Bramlett song. This song is 50 years old still sounds fresh.
Saw him with Buddy Guy at the Garden when he was 15, brought the house down. This kid can play and sing. Like Clapton Trucks and dare i say Duane! GodSpeed Quinn
Quin on Fire.. I keep coming back to this. The Derek Trucks and Clapton influence among others is pronounced and oh so cool. Great playing...
One moment I'm hearing Eric,, the next Dwayne. Don't get no better.
And the jam continues! Yes!
A tight band, playing great music, strong vocals... I love seeing this guy doing good❤
I saw him with Buddy Guy in NYC when he was 13. I sort of forgot about him til I came across this. I won't forget again.
Wow! Had my 72 year old ass movin! That is REAL, EXCITING MUSIC!
Quinn Sullivan's cover and the Doobie Brothers' (w/Peter Frampton) cover of "Let it Rain" are two of the best videos out there. Quinn tears it up and throws in some excellent Derek Truck's right hand technique. Impressive!
Could you imagine Quinn jamming with Derek Trucks? Would love to hear the inspirational blues coming out of that match up! Amazing music, Quinn. Slow-Hand, move over ... there's anew axe-slinger in town and some call him "The Might Quinn!" ...Keep it up, and keep your head clear.
Saw him last night in Hartford. Best show Ive seem in a while, by far. Super friendly and appreciative after the show for a meet and greet. Quinn is the real deal.
I'd never heard this guy play until just now. Wow he's the real deal!
Kick butt voice...
besides all the other positive comments, what's noteworthy about this young man is that he totally flowed in Clapton's original vibe, but didn't try to copy him note for note but rather did his own thing. it was powerful, original, and a pleasure to listen to
I swear, his soloing nearly brought me to tears, it's touchingly spectacular.
Gifted guitarist yes, but feel those vocals kick in ... clear strong committed and perfect pitch ! ... thank you Quinn for helping to restore some faith, some hope that the true classic rock candle burns on in you

That band is freaking amazing as well...
It ain't fair.
So much talent.
My right hand knoweth not what the left hand doeth.
Young Clapton.... Buddy Guy discovered Quinn and Eric Clapton said where did you find him...Extremely talented young man
That young man is impressive! He did that cover with respect. Best EC cover I've heard.
Agreed!
Quinn is such a prodigy
Killer solo at the end.
Eric Clapton's song from the 1970's! Nice to see a young player appreciate the greats
Refreshing !
I saw a video of him & Buddy Guy when he was pretty young, dude's the real deal. I'm a 65 year old woman, & yeah, he's great.
Doing it since 3 and on the Ellen show at 6 yrs old
Well that was my fourth time today. I think I'll listen to it again.
Wow...just discovered Quinn....hooked now
Damn that is fine! It might be the best cover of one of my favorite Clapton tunes I've ever heard!
Eric would be so proud of this band . Reminds me of bands I was in ,In Sunnyvale CA we had some great players. We did this and oso many other tunes.
There are no words…wow…just wow….this kid just keeps getting better and better..
Man, this guy is awesome. What talent so young. Quinn, you are truly destined among the most talented guitarist's in the world. Stay Blessed, Brother. I am spreading the word. A big thank you to your Parent's for encouraging you, what a heck of a job. 💖
wow!!! i was just blown away!!
Things like this give me hope for music’s future
I've watched this at least 30 times, and it blows me away every time
Wonderful, I'm walking on clouds when I hear his music. Maybe I should live in Daryl's house neighbourhood? Really good version...
And I gotta give props to the entire band you guys were smoking
Wow. Kids got fire. 2 yrs ago. About when i lost touch with daryls house.
All of these musicians are awesome!!!!!
Wow very impressive gonna have to start listening to this guitar player he was tearing it up.
Unbelievably gifted guitar player....The world needs to hear about this man.
At 5:02, using his fingers/thumb circa Toy Caldwell, then @ 5:33 pulling his pick outta thin air !!! I've been waiting quite a while to see a young torchbearer. Go get 'em Quinn !!!
You just made EC proud my man!
This is the best thing I've seen in 10 - 20 years, as far as I can remember, which uses a differnt time measurement syste4m...
I had seen him play when younger but had no idea he could sing, what a great voice. He must have grown into his voice
Awesome dude!!! A child prodigy is now a complete Rock Star!! 🤘😝🎸🎶🎶🎶 Taj Farrant is right behind you man! He's 12 from Australia and plays extremely well!! Perfect I might add!! Keep playing music man!!! ✌😎🎸🎶
That was over the top badass great job I just watched the Doobie Brothers and Frampton do this Clapton song
Damn! That was Outstanding!
Are you kidding me?!?!?! I've seen all the greats of my time live and must this young man now. Blown away here. Bravo young man, do your thing.
Awesome voice and superb guitar skills, this kid is gonna be big. He has his own unique sound in his solos, im very impressed.
That’s the combination of Dereck Trucks and Clapton! So cool that he nailed the tricks of Trucks iconic picking skill and tone! Love it!
Absolutely wonderful and inspiring to see the appreciation of our musical past continue on. John Mayer may be "Slowhand Junior" as Rolling Stone magazine once said, however I think this young man may be next. Thank you Buddy Guy for discovering him.
Beautiful energy Quinn. Stood on the shoulders of evereeeee body.
Do 'em good.
he will be on the Keeping the Blues Alive cruise 2023.
All i can say is wow what a talent
It is good to know rock music is in good hands for the future. What a talent this young man is. Seemingly humble but a powerhouse behind that guitar.
AND, he still mows neighbourhood lawns for pocket money, while also maintaining his paper route......this Kid is a Genuine American.
@@captainbart that's a cool young guy!
That last sentence seems to describe his hero EC in a nutshell. That kid needs a whole episode to perform with Daryl and his band.
Just saw him at the Bull Run in MA. He Signed my album and My wife and I had a pic taken with him. Will see him again!!!! Wicked good guitar player!
yeah man he is real good
Making a great song great again!
Quinn has wonderfully mixed the influences of Eric Clapton and Derek Trucks. What a talent!
He owns it.
Attaboy never stop playing I wish life would not have gotten in my go get them
What a great voice, what a great groove, what incredible musicians...
The best performance of the best song by the best band on the internet... period. Absolute superstars. Well done guys🙏🙏🙏
Keep up the great work.☮️🎼🎸🙏🌈
I’ve seen Quinn in person and he blew me away. Incredibly talented but humble as the dickens. Looking forward to seeing him on the west coast again someday.
Ask Buddy Guy, ask Joe Bonamassa, ask Carlos Santana, Quinn is among the best guitar players on the planet RIGHT NOW, and still a teenager. What a talent!
No doubt..havent heard feeling like that since Harrison.
I have followed him since Buddy Guy discovered his talent....He is truly amazing. Buddy did not see color or a threat...He saw talent...What if we all learned this lesson in every part of our life. ♥️
Yes he's fantastic!
@@elizabethklem5252 the way it should be
Looks like it
One of the very few cat's I've ever seen to play this song correctly.... Nice job Man 🤘
The future guitar god...thank God there is some youth for passing on that title....
I've never heard of this guy. He has a great voice.
Quinn is a joy to watch. If anyone is reading this and hasn't seen the video for "She's gone", check it out. It's another gem.
Sound awesome Quinn
that's the stuff right there, yep, no doubt
The absolute best cover of this song I've ever heard. Outstanding job Quinn!
You might also enjoy the recent version performed by The Doobie Brothers and Peter Frampton.
Check out the Doobie Brothers with Peter Frampton in isolation version! It will send a shiver up your spine!
Flawless!!!
Total talent. Amazing guitar player. Aaaamazing
I have played for 35 years but never like that. Great player and singer, crazy talented. His playing reminds me a little bit of Dickie Betts, very precise and clean. Great band too. I am glad this came up for me to watch and thanks for posting.
Not as melodic as Dickey, more like Derek, a bit choppy.
Good lord just came across this guy...pure dynamite! He's kinda a pure distil of Clapton, Trucks and Frampton!
That little Martha tease at the beginning was everything🤩
Excellent cover. 10/10 on guitar work. 7/10 on vocals
I'd give him a 9.8 on vocals
I would never be caught sitting down for this it would be so un 60s like
Magnificent guitar player...Awesome Singer and Voice as Well!!
Dynamite 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Really great kid. Haven't see much of him as of late. Hope he keeps at it.
Check the vid of his full concert at the Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton Florida..pretty recent..It's great 👍
As good as it gets! Goosebumps.
