I don’t know what to say after that. After 60 years in music, I thought I had heard just about all the beautiful songs and renditions of songs. I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Man!!
Anything you can think of to suggest for them, comment under the What Song Will They Cover Next video. The more difficult and beautiful the harmony the better. These ladies learn it like its no big deal, couple takes.
Totally agree....this is probably the best Beatles song vocally. It gave me goosebumps the first time i heard it...and F&F just gave me goosebumps again...its that good! Well done...and thanks for sharing with your fans and others just discovering you! All you need is ❤ love!
This is absolutely beautiful, stunning! I haven’t heard this song in absolute ages and hearing it again transported me back to an evening in 1970. Myself and four buddies, aged about 19 or 20, went to a Ginger Baker’s Air Force gig in London, we all lived about 40 miles east of London at that time. The band had played in Germany the night before and had had some issues with customs on their return to the UK which meant they arrived at the venue much later than scheduled. The show started almost 2 hours later than it should have and consequently ran on much later, causing us to miss the last train out of London that night to get home. We set off on foot trying to hitch a ride, the time was about 12.30am. After about 20 minutes a young guy in a car stopped and offered us a ride, he was going about 20 miles in our direction. We gratefully piled into his car, all 5 of us, and I remember clearly ‘Because’ was the track playing on the sound system in his car at the time. Thank you for bringing back an old memory for me and for your superb cover of the song. Many congratulations on your 100 million UA-cam views and I am sure there will be many more yet.
Tonight as I watched and listened...for some reason...the word "haunting" came into my head as I listened to the ladies sing their "AHHHs". JUST PERFECTION!
Man. The original Beatles version was one of their most haunting and pensive in their catalog. I think F & F really took it up a notch with the girls' voices being even more haunting and eerie than John, Paul and George's! That was gorgeous. 🥲
+1 the stereo in my HT is a HUGE A$$ sound stage and the spread / clarity of the INDIVIDUAL voices -well placed l-c-r is - an aural treat ok? - do it better? that ? we would all like to hear but it's going to be a very low ROI expenditure of time and talent- did you every consider a cover of "Diamonds and Rust"? "Farewell to Tarwathie"
I'm with you, John. May be the the most misused word in the world. It wasn't random in any way, shape or form. Anyway, this is the best Beatles cover I've ever heard! @@johnjleone
Just gorgeous. As this song was being streamed, I looked over on my wall where the Beatles are listed in the Liverpool Newspaper Classified Ads (August 10, 1962 and it's original), and the Beatles are playing on a Party boat and they aren't the first band listed. These guys changed R&R and F&F just knocked it out of the park.
WOW!!! I love the Beatles and that was a perfect rendition of the song. The Foxes have once again shown how fantastic they are!!! Thanks for a great job!!!!
I STILL can't come up with the proper words to describe this INCREDIBLE performance. No matter what I would say it would NOT reach the height of the talents and sounds here.
Superb rendition of one of my favorites. The harmonies were fabulous girls, it must have taken a lot of work to make them perfect. A big bravo to all musicians.
I just listened to this again with extra volume and your voices in perfect harmony actually brought tears to my eyes with this song. You girls and guys are awesome at re doing great older songs with your skills. Thank you very much.
That was spectacular. It serves to remind those of us that were fortunate enough to have experienced the Beatles during their run how truly phenomenal they were. John must be smiling!
A study in what exceptional harmony sounds like. Not among my favorite Beatles tunes, yet your performance elevates it to the level of a masterpiece. A real pleasure to listen to.
EVERYTHING ABOUT FOXES AND FOSSILS IS PERFECT,THE PLAYING OF THE INSTRUMENTS AND THE LADIES SING IN PERFECT HARMONY,EVERYTHINGFALLS RIGHT INTO PLACE!!!👌👌👌👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳😁😁😁✌️✌️✌️
You guys are so incredibly talented. All of you! Thank goodness for UA-cam so we can all get to hear you. From the first times I heard you singing We Gotta Get You a Woman and Dr. My Eyes to Carry On and everything after that, you just keep putting out excellent music. Thank you. I love you!
This might well be my new favorite by the group! Especially as an old Beatles fan! It shouldn't surprise me that you knocked it out of the park as always!
Chase is an emotional signer & so demonstrative, Sammy is thinker & an excellent technical signer and Maggie's a blend of both. These are not easy harmonies, but this is SO well done. Kudos to all!
OMG...Absolutely BRILLIANT! I'm a huge Beatles fan and play a lot of their songs. But, I have stayed away from this one for several reasons: reasons that you all have conquered Masterfully....and most Beautifully. I love this performance...
Apparently, no one told you that Beatles songs cannot be covered well. I'm so glad you didn't get the memo! I'm a 70-year-old Beatlemaniac, and that was perfection!
I have consumed a lot of music in my 3/4 of a century of living, which obviously included hearing this from the Beatles when it originally hit the airwaves just two weeks before I married my sweetheart. We're pushing 55 years together now. The combination of Lennon and McCartney’s brilliant composition and this impeccable rendition by the Foxes - yeah, and the Fossils did pretty good too - makes this cover a classic in its own right - in my humble opinion. I absolutely love everything about this! I can’t stop playing it over and over and over again…
I'm not sure about anyone else, but F&F covers has given me a wonderful new appreciation for how truly great the music I grew up with was ... thank you Tim Purcell and all the Foxes and Fossils ❤❤❤
First, I love the song. Second, I love the band. And finally, besides this being one of the finest songs you do in your F&F way, I can hear each individual singer's voice and I know whose voice it is! So WELL-PRODUCED! Loved all of the keyboardists, too. :) Great work, F&F!!!
Wow, such gorgeous harmonies from the Foxes! What a great song choice to gift us with! The keyboard work from Tim...no wait, Tim + Toby, Toby + Tim x 2, Toby + Darwin + Tim, and Toby + Tim x 2 + Darwin, was terrific, and such clever production! It sounds just beautiful. Thanks F & F.
What would be really cool is if, a couple generations on, the only two versions that anyone listens to are the original off "Abbey Road" and F&F. Anyone else is an imperfect imitation of either those three men or these three women.
Ah man if I had found you guys 10 years ago man what talent and perfect pitch, you guys have such a sweet band I would have loved writing for you guys. Its amazing to me every once in awhile which is seldom you find a group with actual talent and sweet pitch and no mistakes. I use to sing with a guy and we blended perfect sounded like you all. I guess you'd say we got a lot of 70 n 80s in us. Blessings n so sweet all.
I was a little boy of 7 when the Fab Four broke up. As result, I have never heard or been aware of this song before. All I know is, today I heard the most mind-blowing harmonies EVER! Way to go, Girls!
I somehow had missed this but luckily found it after looking around after the recent concert broadcast of the Simon and Garfunkel number. I have been hoping you people would do this piece someday, but I've hesitated to nag Tim with more suggestions. Beautifully done. You are truly special talents. Thank you. And don't worry Johnny, your triangle work was superb.
Not a Beatles song I normally ever think about but they turned it into something new with those amazing harmonies. These performance always make me think about the way everyone hears something unique when listening to the same song. And Johnny Pike put the icing on the cake with an over the top performance on the triangle. I have no idea how he had the energy to make it through that.
This had to be one of F&F most difficult songs to master and perform. Great harmony with the ladies. It is almost difficult to listen to because of the lack of an ending resolution to the arrangement, but that's the way Beatles did it too. I'm impressed. Thanks.
Magnificently melodic...dreamlike!
Beautiful beyond words..
I don’t know what to say after that. After 60 years in music, I thought I had heard just about all the beautiful songs and renditions of songs. I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. Man!!

That song has some of the most difficult harmonies and phrasing. I know and experiment with harmonies. They are just incredible.
I agree. Look at my comment. It made me cry it was so perfect.
WOW!!! (BTW, for those who might not know, the white T-shirt has a pic that Paul himself took of George poolside while in Miami in 1964!)
As a lifelong Beatles fan, this brings tears to my eyes! Beautiful tribute to John’s genius!
It’s like hearing angels sing. Beautiful voices!
Great choice having the three female voices sing the vocal parts. The blend is perfect ❤
Totally agree....this is probably the best Beatles song vocally. It gave me goosebumps the first time i heard it...and F&F just gave me goosebumps again...its that good! Well done...and thanks for sharing with your fans and others just discovering you! All you need is ❤ love!
Sounds like little bg town or Sugarland doing a country version of the song. The female voices sound very country to me

This is one of the best, if not the best you've done. The harmonies are so tight and spot on. This lifelong Beatles fan approves.
This is the most random F&F recording yet. And, it is mind blowing fantastic.

What do you mean by “random”?
@@johnjleone He means, it's like, y'know, literally random.
@johnjleone ... Surprising song choice is what I meant by random.

OMG! When the Foxes harmonize in this performance! Magic! Goose bumps! Audio joy! Angels' voices! Master class! Superb!
Just....magnificent. The harmonies were superb. This will be another F&F classic cover.
I just can’t get enough of these ladies’ harmony. Just wonderful.
There really are NO words to decribe how awesome this performance is...
Without a shadow of doubt the best cover band ever. Fantastic.
Just gorgeous. WOW!!! I love the Beatles and that was a perfect rendition of the song. The Foxes have once again shown how fantastic they are!!! Thanks for a great job!!!!
Tim was right! When these ladies sing...three of them sound like a CHOIR! INCREDIBLE!
It is just the three of them, one voice each. The Beatles sang three takes to get a nine-voice choir.
Fabulous. Every time I listen the first thing I do is turn up the bass. Such a fine line all the way through.
I STILL can't come up with the proper words to describe this INCREDIBLE performance. No matter what I would say it would NOT reach the height of the talents and sounds here.
Well, we will all agree on this. That was beautiful.
Simply perfect in presentation, sound and effect. So very well done F&F.
Congratulations!
I’m in Liverpool UK this weekend and I’m going to share this around.Magical guys.
I mean ... the Beatles ... my goodness, the writing..... as for the performance, simply outstanding, F&F.
Superb rendition of one of my favorites. The harmonies were fabulous girls, it must have taken a lot of work to make them perfect. A big bravo to all musicians.
THERE ARE NO WORDS!!!! BUT FOR NOW.....AWESOME....AMAZING.....WILL BE WATCHING/LISTENING TO THIS EVERY NIGHT NOW!!!!
Another tough cover. Gave me the cold chills. Well done group.
I just listened to this again with extra volume and your voices in perfect harmony actually brought tears to my eyes with this song. You girls and guys are awesome at re doing great older songs with your skills. Thank you very much.
You guys/girls are amazing…the best version of that song besides the Beatles. Truly excellent musician and voices.
The Hofner bass sounds terrific. Perfect!
Never heard this song and I’m 72 and loved the Beatles what a version the harmonies wow.
That was spectacular. It serves to remind those of us that were fortunate enough to have experienced the Beatles during their run how truly phenomenal they were. John must be smiling!
I'm certain both John and George are quite pleased!
@@revvyhevvy I mentioned John because he wrote it, but indeed George, my favorite of the four, would be smiling too I'm sure!!
A study in what exceptional harmony sounds like. Not among my favorite Beatles tunes, yet your performance elevates it to the level of a masterpiece. A real pleasure to listen to.
Nice job, but if you liked this you liked the Beatles version. Nobody "elevates" the Beatles. Very pleased they covered this, though. Gorgeous song.
@@auramac...yes I agree...can anyone make a Beatles song better? I highly doubt it...different maybe but better...no.

Holy moly!! Ethereal presentation. My lord this is amazing!
