i personally had never heard the whole video and was so shocked when i finally did. It shook my personal understanding of my own political position, because i hate(d) trump, but conciously editing what he says is OVER THE LINE. I've been called a member of a certain German political party for being pro-2A. Never mind that those guys were pro-gun control and confiscated guns from their enemies, reading books is hard.
In 2016 I pushed back on a friend when they said “punch a Nazi” on Facebook. I asked them to consider the consequences of inciting violence. They replied back it was ok, because only Nazis would get punched. I asked them who decided who Nazis were, what was the threshold for being called Nazi? If someone in a mob randomly pointed to a stranger and yelled Nazi as the person walked their dog, would the mob be justified in punching them? They insisted it would never come to that, but here we are

*Edit:* Some time ago, I posted a rather long comment detailing my story of how I lost my job substitute teaching in my home county because I made the mistake of making my centrist-but-conservative leaning political beliefs known to students in an AP history class (during what was essentially a "free day.") I never said anything vulgar or inflammatory to these students, but nonetheless I was fired for my beliefs.
To those who are curious about what I am doing now:
- I managed to land a half-year substitute teaching job in January of 2022 that lasted until June of that year. I count myself incredibly lucky that the principal of the school was sympathetic to my situation, and also because she probably shared similar beliefs to mine.
- I have a part-time job working retail in the summer(s) at my local Game Stop, which I enjoy very much because I enjoy working with the people there.
- I got a job working with a company that assists school systems in my state via substitute teachers and other support staff.
- I managed to land a year-long contract in August of 2022 with a local school system that recently ended this past May; best of all, I also landed a full-time job within that school system and have submitted an application for licensure. If everything goes well, I could be teaching as soon as August of 2024.
Oh, and I also moved out of my parents' home for the first time last March. I know that has nothing to do with education... I'm just happy that I have my own place and _real_ independence.
The american school system has been corrupted for the past 10 years so its normal to get rid of people that resist the brainwashing of just believing everything and not stopping to think that the world is not black & white and that even the "good guys" might actually be the bad guys

I'm in the military and it's the same way. The moment people starting talking about politics in shop, there's been some clear division in my unit and it's amazing to me to see people I was cool with automatically hate me for my opinions and beliefs. This shit was set up decades ago and it's all coming to a head. Russia and China will surpass the US because we'll be too busy killing ourselves to even catch up. The US is waning in power and unity and every other player on the world stage smells blood in the water while this current administration makes this country a massive laughing stock.

I've been going out to colleges, schools, public places and other protest and have preached, debate or just ask question to see where the people are at.

You can't sue for discrimination because its too costly, probably won't work and will likely blacklist you (if you weren't put on a political blacklist for the incident already). You can't appeal because school admins are simply retarded and most are unnecessary. You can't defend yourself. You can't explain to those unwilling to listen. The only options seem to be run away from the "liberals" if you detect one in fear of their crybaby power, avoid talking about your beleifs altogether or keep doing it and keep getting discriminated. Another sad part is the problematic (actually problematic) people that can't handle other world views and isolate themselves in echochambers from reality. They don't grow as people. But I say keep speaking even if you are punished for it. To submit to their rules is akin to surrendering your values.

Maybe people are unaware of the financial benefits of a stay at home wife. Fewer childcare expenses, cooking is cheaper than takeout, the house is cleaner & better maintained costing less, and you don't need to schedule around two different routines (which can save a lot of time & money).
Two full time working parents is just two revenue streams but the expenses can eat you alive.

Many conserves hold small government, gun rights, freedom of speech, and personal responsibility as key to their political beliefs; these beliefs are diametrically opposed to facism and socialism (which facism was derived from). It is simply a simplification so that normal folks can understand politics, and allow them to pick the right “team” when they vote.

“Right” and “Left” are simply labels the establishment throws around to prevent the uniformed masses from really having reflect on politics and really think about what they really think about. These labels allow party leaders to label certain lines of thought problematic (the case when Kamala Harris claimed that the host of _The View_ was thinking like a republican because he asked an uncomfortable question comes to mind) and keep the voters ignorant and well exposed to desired talking points. After all, if you control the information one receives, you can control how they act.

On that victims of Stalinism thing: When I was young, my church brought in a man who was a 17 year old conscript that was pressed into fighting for Germany on the Eastern Front. His division was captured and he watched the Stalinist Soviets torture and murder all but 3 of his fellow soldiers. They had nothing to do with any war crimes, most German infantry didn't. He was also decidedly not a German national socialist after he was finally released from East Germany years later. So even that person's point was wrong and technically racist.

I admit, we have a problem with nazis(ustaša locally) in Croatia. They're the leading party. That flag had the ustaša coat of arms, not Croatia's coat of arms. Politicians are clever about their affairs, but your average nationalist joe, that supports this government, openly struts around as an ustaša.
