I started using Vichy products when I was 16 years old. I am currently 72, and while I have strayed to other skincare at times, I always use Vichy and Clinique moisture surge whenever my skin doesn’t like one of the new and great skincare products I started using. You’re going to find Vichy in every European pharmacy, not in the drug stores like here in the USA.
I have been using Vichy for about 6-7 months. I am so happy to see this, because I have noticed a HUGE difference in my face since I have been using these products. The fine lines on my forehead have all but faded away and my skin feel so nice and smooth. I have recommended these products to all the ladies in my family and we all love them! Thank you!!
Excellent product for hot/humid temps! Super hydrating and plays well with all other topicals including actives. I’m 40, normal to dry. I use this at night. 4th bottle. I do an oil cleanse (to clean sunscreen and the day off, don’t wear makeup). After that a gentle cleanse with Vanicream, a PHA toner, the Vichy Mineral 89 ( on damp skin), the a polyglutamic to really maximize the moisture and hydration, then when it dries, I’ll do my Vitamin A, a niacinimide serum and I’ll lock it in with an occlusive cream (like CeraVe moisturizing cream), let it set , brush my teeth , either do a pure oil (Argan, jojoba or rosehip) and Twice a week I’ll slug with Vaseline right before bed. That’s it! I’m done! Great product. Giving it away as gifts this year.
Vichy is what I have always used since my ex husband first gave me a large box of extra Vichy products that his first wife had wanted to get rid of because she was the Cosmair rep here, lol. Gotta thank her for setting me up on over 30 years of great skincare. La Roche Posay and Vichy (and Biotherm and others) are all owned by L’Oreal, and Cosmair Canada was the distributor for all L’Oreal products, at least back in the 80s and 90s in Canada. So, the “special water” is used by more than one of L’Oreal’s companies, and they put a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid (even compared with Vichy) in their “medical grade” line, SkinCeuticals. Just FYI. 😊
I used to live right by where the water comes from in this product (Auvergne, France), and the water here is some of the cleanest in France and it is amazing for skin and hair. I started using this product when I was there and I love it. It is the best hyaluronic acid I’ve ever used. It’s just so incredibly hydrating which I don’t really see from other brands like the ordinary or the inky list. Vichy has mastered this product, plus it lasts a very long time, I think my last bottle lasted me 8-9 months with pretty much daily use or 5x a week use.
The water is amazing. I use to drink it before my period. Or when I ate some to much fat food, or when they were something wrong with the food and my stomach is sending me warning signals.
Amazing stories, thanks for sharing! I have never been a huge fan of Vichy but this time they hit the spot with the formula. There is something magical in the recipe, maybe the combo of ingredients. I didn't have any expectations but now I can't live without it.
Thanks for this. I recently went to Vichy France where they have many spas that focus on their water and its healing properties. I also noticed that French women all ages have beautiful skin and when I stopped and asked what products they used, the most common answer was Nuxe, Vichy, Avene, and Roch Posay. I would love if both of you went to France and evaluated all of their skin care products!!!
Oh My God !!! The oil from NUXE is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G !! Definitely a must have !!! There is also l'immortelle from l'Occitane. I used the eye serum and the cream, and it made my lashes grow thicker and longer 😲 !!! So now I puporsely apply it on it. 😇 I don't think French women have beautiful skin. But I've never been to Vichy, 🤔 I believe I will go there now, when I found the opportunity. 😉
I tried the thermal water and it really makes a difference with acne. this also can be used as a microcurrent treatment, the minerals in it are naturally great conductive materials.
I can’t live without hyaluronic acid. It really makes a huge difference especially when used correctly. Meaning a wet or moist face then followed by your cream of choice. You guys are not old enough to know the NEED IT part
I have rosacea that's been in remission for over a year and this is a staple in my skincare routine. I spray my face first with thermal water from Uriage and apply Mineral 89 when it's tacky. I use a Uriage moisturizer on top of it at night; and a SPF 50 on top of it during the day. It's a beautiful product and very simple. My favorite thing about it is the sulfur content.
I have mixed-oily skin but my cheeks can get really dry in winter (I live in Berlin). Vichy 89 is life saving for me to let my foundation firmly stay on my face, and never get into trouble with all my skin care products or makeup. I have already used up probably 5 bottles of Vichy 89, and really like its texture, it’s moisturizing for sure and leaves a non-sticky touch even in summer.
I'm a subscriber from Istanbul and I want to say that I'm so happy to run into your channel! I'm using this product on my skin and I did some research on it before my purchase, but seeing your comments as experts with a scientific background has made me like both the product and YOU GUYS!!! Keep up with the good work my dear docs! Sending love from Istanbul!
I used that for quite a long time and I was happy with Vichy. I wasn’t getting dermatitis and blemishes and it was quite hydrating and refreshing. My skin looked really good. Then switched to Uriage Cica Serum which was more expensive, but Vichy seemed to fit my skin more so I am going back to it.
@@Nelliesjolander I use it day and night almost daily, and it last me about 4-5 months. I only use one small pump on my face, two if I want it on my neck too. Once you start using it you’ll know how much your face need. My face is on the oily side so I don’t need much. Hope it helps.
You guys should do more videos of product reviews and split them by skin concerns i.e hydration, moisture barrier, discoloration/hyperpigmentation/melasma etc.. product recommendations are great addition. You are both so insightful and can't wait for your next video!!!!
I had been using Korean Amore Pacific face care for years. I didn’t get and positive changes in my skin. I would love a review of those products. I have since changed to recommended products that Drs. Shah and Maxfield presented.
I have just finished my first bottle of this, and I liked it a lot! It was really great for a Nordic wintertime skincare regimen for me. I don’t think I need ot for summer, but will repurchase when weather cools again. I really line Vichy and La Roche-Posay products. Thank you for this thorough review!
I received a free sample. After 2 days I purchased 2 bottles of this. Makes a huge difference on my skin. I use 2 times a day, once prior to gym. Great item!
I use product line. I use Vitamin c ampules in the morning, mineral 89 as serum and the Neovadial moisturizer and finish with sunscreen ( all in that order ). Nighttime I use the retinol/hyralonic acid product and the night moisturizer. Weekly I use the double eclat peel( friggin awesome )!!!!! I'm 56, most people think I'm in my early 40's. I've used products quadruple the price and I love this product line. I do let each product absorb before applying the next. Thank you for your review. Try it, you won't be disappointed!!!
They also now have hyaluronic acid serum with sunscreen. I'm going to add this product to my routine before moisturizer. My skin is so smooth. I get compliments on my skin often. If there were only a way to prevent collagen depletion. Collagen topical treatment is a waste of money. Vichy lift active serum is also a good product in the line. Depends on your own individual skin, your specific targets to treat and of course your age. Good skin takes tenacity!!!!!
I've been using this for about a year now. I'm usually kinda greasy in the summer and kinda dry with oily t-zone in the winter, but since using this i've noticed i'm just the right level of moist all year long. I now use less day moisturizer and only use a night cream in the winter if I really need it. I don't love the slightly slimy and then tacky texture, but it does disappear quickly and then feels like nothing. Definitely not as good as the Chanel hydra beauty micro serum, which gave me really plump, glowing skin but it's also much, much cheaper.
I use this product for 1 month and I am very pleased with it. I have dermatitis on my face and it’s always very sensitive. I use Avene’s thermal water spray first, and then this product and my klairs hydrating face cream. Great combo!
Me encantó
I find that if I leave a product out on the counter I am much more likely to use it. Vichy 89 products are so beautifully packaged that I display them and use them regularly. I understand that most people don't want to pay for fancy packaging, but for some people, it does have a practical side.
Amazing product! I notice my skin looks better and healthier since I started using it about 2 years ago. I’m probably at my 3rd bottle (big format) and I use it every single day, 2 pumps for my face and neck, with a moisturizer. 10/10, I mention it every time I get compliments on my skin :)
@@alybal2764 use it after you wash your face, on damp skin you can use it in the morning and the evening, when u use in the morning follow it with sunscreen
I think you two (DOCTORS) are terrific. I recently did a feature with VICHY, (among 10 others) - much of my focus is the micro-needling, botox-wearing off, skin-plumping, retinol audience. But Vichy was a great plumper for the money..! THANKS!
I’m new, and I absolutely love how easy you guys make it for me to understand this whole things of skin care routine! Thank you doctor’s I will watch all your videos and like them👍🏼… I’m also sharing them with my daughter sisters and friends. Thank thank you thank you for this educational videos and for your honesty!
I knew EXACTLY what the commercial was that you were talking about when you said the melon guy!! Really early morning commercials are a like fever dreams.
I love this and have been using it for years. I use it as a general daily moisturizer. Not oily, not greasy, very smooth and absorbs well. I had lots a face Excema in my teens and early 20s and my skin is thin and unpredictable. This stuff I love.
Not surprisingly I just bought my bottle, it didn't even arrived but the chanel already put this video before my eyes. The doctors were actually cool. Now I know what to expect.
happenned to me few months ago, I wanted to go to the clinic as soon as there was an appointment to dermatologist so they sent me to the ONLY man in the clinic (and yes, he was sexy) :D :D forgot few of my questions
Vichy products work pretty well for my combination-oily skin and I like the price range. However, I've used up Mineral 89 and the packaging might look sexy and beautiful but the pump is not well designed and a considerable amount of product gets stuck at the bottom of the bottle. It was definitely sticky but pretty convenient under makeup. Thanks for the review ! :)
I really loved this product I don't know why I am not using anymore. It is far away the best hyaluronic acid I've tried. Especially underneath makeup. It plump up the skin it really helps with the moisture. Love your videos guys! Keep going!
This is one of my most favorite hyaluronic acid serums! I use 1 pump most days, 2 if I need more moisture. Lasts forever and best of all there’s no scent.
This stuff is like the HA fountain of youth, if not a cool, clean, crisp, breeze across your face! It literally feels like a moisture heaven! Good call!! A+ product 4 sure!
I'm sure in the properties of mineral/volcanic/hot spring waters because have experienced it myself. In Bulgaria we have over 300 natural hot springs with different chemical characteristics which are used each for different purposes, so the knowledge of their goodness is there from ancient times.
Valuable work, thank you. There is a stark lack of HONEST reviews out there, as most videos are sponsored by companies who send gifts to UA-camrs. Request: could you make a video explaining if SKIN SUPPLEMENTS are worth the hype? Such as collagen tablets, Co-enzime Q10, etc.? I heard they are a waste of time, but some beauty gurus swear by them... Thank you!
Sponsored or gifted doesn’t mean the reviews are not honest. The influencer does not have to talk about the product when it is gifted, and when sponsored, they don’t have to accept the sponsorship if they don’t like the products.
I am almost finished with my first bottle! I love this stuff! I use I pump for my face, 1 1/2 for face and neck. I was worried it was over priced for drug-store and such short list ingredients… with Water! But, I love this product! Will buy it again, easily.
Do a video on face steamers! I'd love to hear your thoughts before I purchase one. Not a video on a particular face steamer just facial steaming in general.
I love this product. Took a couple of those squeeze packets from a friend in highschool that was decluttering her products collection. Been part of my routine since.
Just getting into skin care (29) and bought the Vichy line (including this product and the corresponding eye cream). Glad to see your review because I find it difficult to be consistent at my skin care routine but I’ll try to do better! Thanks for uploading and I’ve now subscribed!
I haven’t tried the skin serum, but I got a sample of the Vichy Mineral 89 eye serum and I loved it. Usually eye creams are too thick for me and I have a hard time getting them to sink into my skin without leaving a residue behind, but the Vichy stuff was very thin and soaked in really quickly. And it felt nice and cool :)
I love the Mineral 89 eye cream. I didn't expect much from it, but I really do notice a difference in the skin around my eyes after regular use. Have actually repurchased, which I also didn't expect.
I’m always happy when a product I like and use gets a good review. I’m on my second bottle. I’ll probably switch to something cheaper down the road though and put the money towards medical grade retinol or a procedure.
I like this product very much for my acne prone skin, it makes it moist and acne free. Plus, you guys are super cool. I like impressions with facts, and you deliver it.
I’ve been using the acne cleanser 89 and acne moisturizer from Vichy for a week and my skin looks great. My pores look tighter, skin looks more even and like brighter .But at the end of the day my face is more oily than usual. But I’m looking good and can’t wait to see results in 3 months.

What helped get rid of melasma for me: Throwing out my birth control pill (on advice from my dermatologist), Obagi skin care, chemical peels, protection from the sun by using a parasol, wearing a wide brimmed hat, walking on the shady side of the street.
I tried this product ONCE trough a sample and I was absolutely amazed. Never seen my skin look so lively and bright. I'm definitely gonna purchase it and start using it daily.
At first I was like, "why are you telling me to read the English side, that's normal!". And then I realised that I live in Canada where they have french and english on most products already. 😅
Very interested in the reviews since I've bought Mineral 89 booster and eye products but haven't tried them yet. To me VICHY is a guarantee of good quality. Even if the product doesn't come up to your expectations usually because you made the wrong choice for your type of skin or age, it will never cause any harm because they have been carefully tested.
I've been using Vichy products for a couple years and I LOVE THEM! I haven't tried anything I haven't liked. I got a moisturizer/lotion sample, and ever since then I have been hooked. ANYTHING of theirs that has any fragrance, SMELLS AMAZING and not overbearing... I have super combo skin, meaning where I am oily, I'm super oily.. my dry areas are super dry, and this product in the video works wonders and evens everything out perfectly! I love that it's affordable, and a little bit always goes a long way, in everything I have tried from Vichy too. It's just a great brand I have fallen in love with, and I would recommend this to EVERYONE! Thanks for reviewing one of my favorite products!!!!
@@soukainakheldy1816 It works well for wrinkles around the eyes too. There's a woman on UA-cam or maybe another platform, look up facial yoga. She shows these facial massages that work wonders on the face, and add a serum to it, like the Vichy products and you'll look a few years younger quick..
@@soukainakheldy1816 Hi, I just used the Vichy Mineral 89 Serum. I don't think it's specific just for eyes, but it may have an eye cream in that 89 set. The regular serum is great for the whole face and the eyes too.
Wild that ya'll are talking about this in late 2020! I'm American, but lived in Canada up until recently. Love this product! And it's a drugstore brand up north. It does pump and plump, and the packaging, like ya'll said, puts super high-end brands to shame. Was hesitant about the affiliate link, but respect you both said it's not a necessary product. New Sub!
The most important thing is sunscreen, moisturizing, and washing your face at night time (and morning too if you are really oily). Sunscreen is 100% the MOST IMPORTANT thing for your skin to protect you from aging, scarring, and potentially skin cancer - even if you don’t burn!
The essentials things you need are cleanser twice a day, moisturizer and sunscreen. The products you choose depends on the type of skin you have. Some really good brands that you can get good clenaser and moisturizers for your age are Simple, La Roche Posay, Vichy, CeraVe. And for sunscreen look for one that is SPF 50+, non-comedogenic and suitable for your skin type.
Loved this video! I agree with dr maxfield. Hyaluronic acid is hydrating but not moisturizing. Unless the the product is formulated with moisturizing ingredients, then I think you would be able to skip the moisturizer. I’m not sure 🤔
I have been using this product for around 2 weeks. I am 42 and I just wanted to switch up my product brands that I have been using. I have been an Olay girl my whole life, but felt like my regular products weren’t working as they used to. I have the same thought as you 2 do on how it is performing for me. I also like that it doesn’t have a strong scent as a lot of other products have.
I LIVE on the side of Volcan Aqua outside Antigua, Guatemala! I shower, hath and wash my face with waterfrom a deep well on this volcano.,Still I use this product, very nice!
I always had sensitive, thin, glass looking skin. And I have to swear by thermal water! Uriage, Vicky, roche posay, Avene, I always have one bottle at home. Now I use it with my kids as well, and it helps a lot!
Love your videos. I know you mention eczema a lot but would you consider doing a video specifically about it? Especially if its around the delicate eye area. Not sure how to safely treat it or what skincare products should be used and avoided. Thanks.
Great review! I’ve been using this for 2 weeks in place of my usual skinceuticals ha intensifier serum. I really like it & it’s much cheaper & less sticky!
@@staceycorriveau7495 I have asked my gyne to prescribe me spironolactone but he was like it won't help. I've been doing research about it as well but wanted to ask do you think my family GP would prescribe it or does it have to be a specialist?
I was literally getting ready to buy this product . I'm kind of glad I did see you guys. now, any suggestions on peri-menopausal dry skin. It is so hard for my face to maintain moisture . I never had this problem before.

@@AbiCroCro a tip for you: look up the products you're interested in on the website www.skroutz.gr and order online to be delivered to your hotel. Agree... I have learned the hard way lol so if I apply mine my face drips from water.. I honestly don't want it to absorb the moisture from my skin
When do you use it?? Before foundation as a primer?
I also live in Berlin, definitely gonna buy it 🙌🏼
I'm a subscriber from Istanbul and I want to say that I'm so happy to run into your channel!
My skin looks so much better when I incorporated this product in my routine. I’m currently on my third bottle.
Total agree!
how long does it last? it’s a bit expensive and I’m thinking about buying it
@@Nelliesjolander I use it day and night almost daily, and it last me about 4-5 months. I only use one small pump on my face, two if I want it on my neck too. Once you start using it you’ll know how much your face need. My face is on the oily side so I don’t need much. Hope it helps.
@@Nelliesjolander hey, bottle is 50 ml, I put it every day in the morning after applying thermal water and it lasts approximately 10 months

You guys should do more videos of product reviews and split them by skin concerns i.e hydration, moisture barrier, discoloration/hyperpigmentation/melasma etc.. product recommendations are great addition. You are both so insightful and can't wait for your next video!!!!
Great idea!
I'm using hyaluronic acid serum by Good Molecules the price will not break your bank and better than the Ordinary . These 2 Docs has glowing skin.
You should talk about Korean cosmetic and skin care. I can assure you have lot of juicy reviews
Uuuuuuuuu i would loooove to see that!
I had been using Korean Amore Pacific face care for years. I didn’t get and positive changes in my skin. I would love a review of those products. I have since changed to recommended products that Drs. Shah and Maxfield presented.
A lot better than French products imho.
Using this product more than 2 years, every morning. I`am very satisfied of it. Definately i recommend it!!!
Great item!
this product really helped me to reduce the dark circles around my eyes. try it
I will see! I have always dark circles which could be genetics but maybe this can help to somewhat reduce it :)
Gotta try it, my eyes are like that, my whole life 😩 thank youuuu need to get it tomorrow hehe!
Thank you!! Ive been searching everywhere to see which step of my skin routine this would go in!
Unfortunately, Vichy discontinued the vitamin C ampules. I found the serum works just as well!
I'v been using this serum for good 5years. I absolutely love this product. I have dry skin and it definitely helps with dryness .
I have been using Vichy products for a few months now and my skin has been loving them. And my skin is acne prone and very sensitive.
Me encantó
Hola, oye lo usas como hidratante o como serum antes de la crema hidratante?? Gracias!

How you apply it? I’m 33 years old and I wanna take care of my face , Do you use it before bed, early morning, before make up?
Is it good for oily skin????

I think you two (DOCTORS) are terrific. I recently did a feature with VICHY, (among 10 others) - much of my focus is the micro-needling, botox-wearing off, skin-plumping, retinol audience. But Vichy was a great plumper for the money..! THANKS!

Do you apply it on damp skin?
Not surprisingly I just bought my bottle, it didn't even arrived but the chanel already put this video before my eyes. The doctors were actually cool. Now I know what to expect.

Same in western Ukraine!
Is it good for oily skin?
This and the Vichy Mineral 89 Eye Serum were game changers for me when I started Tret and was needing a lot of moisture. Love this product!

I started using this product recently. Very happy and it works so well on my dry skin.
Thank you! Glad you found this helpful :)
I recently started to use this product and I am really enjoying the texture and feel of it on skin.
I like the vichy eye creme as well!
I had really bumpy irritated skin, since I use this my skin is much smoother and it's really hydrating, can recommend!
I been using that product since always. I finished 5 bottles already!!
I've been using it for 2 weeks and its great, my skin feels much better after I use it

Vichy is my favorite skincare line hands down ...
I discovered Vichy this past year and just bought this one. Love their product line.
I’ve been using the acne cleanser 89 and acne moisturizer from Vichy for a week and my skin looks great. My pores look tighter, skin looks more even and like brighter .But at the end of the day my face is more oily than usual. But I’m looking good and can’t wait to see results in 3 months.

hi,wanna hear about hyperpigmentation and melasma ,💜🙏🏻
Yes!! Melasma help PLEASE!
I live in Spain and most beauty products packages come in six languages
No same tho XD

SUNSCREEN EVERY DAY
Your skin is brand new, shoo fly!
@@ereyna1010 No, a young age is actually the MOST important time to have a consistent skincare routine of USING SUNSCREEN haha
Loved this video! I agree with dr maxfield. Hyaluronic acid is hydrating but not moisturizing. Unless the the product is formulated with moisturizing ingredients, then I think you would be able to skip the moisturizer. I’m not sure 🤔
Yep, some HA products also are in a cream or ointment vehicle so then it's a complete combo
You guys are legit. Coming from a dermatologist point of view is so informative and authentic. Keep informing us.
