Yes! This would be super useful because not all acne/spots behave the same way at all times. Different stages need to be targeted woth different actives and at times, we don’t even need actives, we may just need a hydrocolloid patch
Can you please specify a video for the skin of color ladies in their 30s who still have to deal with acne due to oily/combination skin as well as anti-aging. The products layering process is getting complicated, and sometimes feels a bit overdone as we focus on many issues altogether, which results into even a shinier, more greasy skin. Same thing happened to me when I first used neutrogena hydro boost hyaluronic gel. I figured out it should be topped with an occlussive to get a better results.
@@daniebear7 give it 2 week of trial and top it with thick moisture or spf. Make sure you're not breaking due to other products. I suggest to minimize to basics. CLEANSE HYALURONIC ACID MOISTURE SPF Try different consistency but serum and gel are light and can be topped easily.

Yes, please do the collagen drink. Im hispanic, olive skin with hyperpigmentation and gets worse older im getting. I've had a few treatments of IPL and it fades a little. Does come back, now I feel there is little spots if hypo. Ive never seen a dermatologist, esthetician or any laser tech person who do much skinn of color. So its so nice to here Dr V, talk about this. I wish i could see someone in person who can give correct advice on treatments where i live. Wish i lived close to you Dr V, 😁

I use a cleanser (2x a day), exfoliant (2x a week), vitamin A (Adapalene), and moisturizer. I would like to incorporate HA and vitamin C, so which step should they be incorporated?
So I found out what has been working for me...I use the hylauronic acid in the morning and the evening. I have oily skin as well. In the morning I use hylauronic acid serum (cerave) and niacinamide (Paula's choice) and apply on damp skin. Then my mouistrizer and 2 drops of vitamin C serum. Evening I tone then spray rose water and while damp I apply hylaronic acid and moisturizer. Trial and error. Just see what works for you.

I don’t use a separate serum as it seems to be in my toners and moisturisers. I prefer my serums to be actives instead and have some hyrulonic acid in my toners.

Ive been using it wrong, pretty much using a gel based moisturiser (clinique moisture surge) that has this acid in it and found myself having very dry skin with super slick oil on my face at the end of my shift in a hospital! Just a request; I always use bare minerals as my make up base as i have acne, i would love to know your thoughts on that brand, the skincare and the makeup!!!

They are squalene oil, hemp seed oil and jojoba oil. Dont use jojoba oil if you are acne prone.
