    Thank You Dr. Jones…My dad has followed your pet advice for many years. You are so honest and caring. You’ve kept me alive with heart & lung advice the last several years. The vet had actually suggested euthanasia. I’m so happy to know you. That’s my picture on my 13th bd. 15+ now and better than ever! Love from Cleo

      Thank you for rescuing. So many wonderful, amazing pets are out there, wishing for their own humans and home. My sister and I adopt Dobermans, usually through a Doberman Rescue. Right now we have a Black and Tan girl and are forever fostering two red Dobermans boys, seniors, now 11 and 13. We got them last Nov.

    Thanks so much for this info. I am a retired Emerg/Trauma Nurse in Nova Scotia and I think all pet lovers would appreciate a video on what we can use to calm our dogs down during hurricanes (the thunder, wind and lightning scares them). I am certain other pet lovers would appreciate a video on this topic. Thank you in advance and thanks for all you do.❤❤

    Thank you so much for this. I have a big puppy and he had a minor rash for which the vet gave me a tiny 15g tube of cream. It was anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antibiotic, and corticosteroids, and cost $45.00 PLUS the vet visit of $95.00 ! (And of course, by the time I got an appointment the rash was almost gone. Also, my puppy is a real character and wouldn't let me "tickle" his tummy 😅. I have since used the cream on an ear infection. In the future, however, I will be shopping at the drug store. Thank you for your generosity in sharing these home remedies, as well as the knowledge we pet parents need to give our fur babies their best lives. ❤✌️🇨🇦

    Hi, I’m usually very shy about leaving comments but I have to say this. THANK YOU. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!!!! I’ve followed your advice for years and saved my 9yo Yorkie from so much suffering. I stopped trusting the typical vets after they were advising to put my dog down at only 1.5 years old. He is now nearly 10!!! He suffers from allergies, partial blindness, (disc ruptured back) limping, and you have helped us so much to relieve the symptoms and pain. We love and appreciate you!! Also he is a happy, sassy, playful, and vocal pup! So don’t feel so bad about his problems he is enjoying the extra lives he got 💕

    What if they lick it off? Is it dangerous??

    • @adognamedboo9474
      @adognamedboo9474 8 місяців тому

      Many of the OTC medications mentioned have a warning " If ingested, contact poison control." So I would think yes it would be dangerous. It is Pharmekia after all. But let's see what Dr. Andrew says.

    • @dianasimplifies
      @dianasimplifies 8 місяців тому

      Apparently not that's why he's suggesting these. I use something called Vetericyn Plus for wound and skin care of my pets. It's OTC and very safe. Also doesn't burn if it's a cut. ❤❤❤ that brand also has products for ears and maybe an eye wash.

    My big old dog - they said she was 6 yrs old when my daughter got her from the pound 9yrs ago, I don't think she's that old considering she is a large dog. She is just over 100 lbs but not overweight. She has started having bad skin problems the last few years, chewing her fur off, licking herself all over but especially her paws. Since my husband passed away 3 yrs ago I don't have any money to spend over household bills, groceries & pet food. Is apple cider vinegar helpful for skin issues? Also is there any thing I can safely give her to sedate her to cut her nails? I'm 72 & not strong enough to bathe her & cut her nails. I don't have anyone to help me with her.

    Hi Dr. jones, our 9yr old Portuguese Water Dog, has a small mass next to his left anal gland. The vet wasn’t interested in anything other than surgery. Even though he doesn’t know if it’s a tumor or not. We are a Chiropractic family, and usually very holistic on everything we do, in regards to our family. We were wondering if you had any suggestions on how we could shrink the mass before doing something so invasive as surgery at his age. Or are there any other less invasive ways to deal with this?

    Thank you so much Doctor! Just a quick question if you don't mind me asking. I recently saw a holistic chiropractor for my 15 year old dog & during the examination, she proceeded to rub frozen meats (pork, fish, etc) on my dog for about 3-5 seconds at a time; this somehow concluded to her what my dog *should* be eating which turned out to be beef & tilapia. Does this sound logical to you at all?

      I have concentrated garlic oil, organic turmeric powder,
      On hand.. apple cider and distilled vinegar too and just salt.
      Will any of these in water / food be helpful over time?
      And if so, what dose shall I give? ex: 1 drop garlic oil in 4oz bowl of food?
      3 drops apple cider vinegar per 8oz bowl of water?
      1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder in 4 oz food?
      Maybe rotate garlic & turmeric daily?
