Castor oil should be organic and hexane-free. And sold in amber jar, not a plastic one.
Dr Jones is the veterinarian we all wished we had for our pets. Thank you for all the great advice you give on your channel.

Thank you for being a great human and for putting this information out there for those of us that prefer natural and holistic healing.
I have to say something here. My dog is so itchy that I get her an allergy shot every six months at $85 a pop. Yesterday I was wishing that you would release a video for a natural way to help my dog. Here you are today, doing just that. THANK YOU! ❤️
As a PharmD, I recommend you melt the ingredients in a double boiler. Less chanse of scorching. Also, I'd add calendula oil. It prevents scarring and is antibacterial. Also, the calendula flower is considered GRAS.
I have 2 female cats with severe skin problems. Usually i just use coconut oil, guess i will become a mad scientist 😅 Thanks
I made this cream via your recipe. I love this stuff and will be making a larger batch tomorrow. Our German Shepherd Loki has had some serious itchies, food allergy related as per our vet. He fought me tooth and nail when I first started using it, now he knows it gives him relief so he lets me lather it on with no fuss. I also started giving him the Bee Propolis recently hoping to get this somewhat under control. About a month ago I started making his dinners from scratch too. All and all I have seen a difference, Thank you Dr. Jones we are grateful to have you and your videos!
Dr Jones, i used your green tea, lavendar, apple cider vinegar tincture in my dog and it worked wonders. Thank you. I also made a coconut oil, cbd, thc tincture for the painful spots and in 2 days the swelling went down and its noticable hes not in pain anymore. Great advice from a great vet! Blessings to you and your fur family!
While you were melting the ingredients sweet Tula was in the background licking her lips...lol..Thank you, Dr. Jones for all you do!
Making this for my pups and me...wish you were my vet, thank you for caring and sharing. I like to refer your channel to anyone who will listen, you and your fur babies are truly are the best. Love you guys ❤🙏❤
I am a herbalist, I say this is excellent!!!!
So glad I found this channel. I’ve been praying for an answer I can do at home for my girl. Shes a big honking German shepherd 10 1/2 years old.
I have almost all of these!! I make balms for my massage clients, breath balm, pain balm, etc,,,, I cannot wait to make this for my dog!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
This looks good for people's skin also! I think I will make some for me (I don't have a dog!). I actually have organic castor oil and coconut oil. I just need the other ingredients.
Thank you Dr Jones for your natural remedy for doggy pneumonia, my little girl is getting better everyday. I gave her green tea and raw unfiltered honey, also started giving her ivermectin.
I made this for my dog and the redness fading away after one day. Thank you I tried everything and now I am optimistic that my dog will get relief.
I used coconut oil in and on my dogs for years, excellent product. God bless you Dr Andrew Jones.
I was excited to run across this video and I bought everything I needed to make it. I love the smell of it!! Unfortunately, my dog has both allergies and seborrhea sicca. This ointment actually made her scratch more and I had to promptly wash it off with oatmeal and aloe soap. I couldn't figure out why this happened, so I did some research. Turns out that sunflower oil and coconut oil both actually worsen seborrhea. In fact, any oil with long-chain fatty acids and oleic acid will worsen fungus infections of the skin and seborrhea. The article I ran across recommended using MCT oil instead of regular coconut oils and Squalane oil instead of the sunflower oil. I have yet to try it, but figured I'd post this just in case there is someone else with a dog who has seborrhea or a fungal skin infection predisposition. More and more I'm learning that not everything "natural" is also healthy. It just depends on all the details.
Thank you Dr. Jones! This recipe is so much like a skin cream that I make it for myself! 👍
