      Hey Thanks! We bought almost all the items on his list…We are in our 70’s and the only started gaming again after a several decade hiatus. My husband, playing Horizon, Call of the Mountain, slide down a zip line for the first time--it knocked him off his feet, he almost took the tv out with his fist and spewed the contents on top of the cabinet everywhere. (No, he didn’t get hurt), but dang, in 40 years of marriage, never saw him do something like that! Do you have any suggestions on items that prevent fall protection? Hahahahahah. Again, thank you!

    We’re in our 70’s, just purchased the PS5 and the VR2 and this video and the other video on accessories really helped us out. Thank you so much. Yes, once a gamer, always a gamer. Peace and Blessings….

    I am blown away by how good psvr 2 is, I love my vive but the visuals in psvr 2 are leaps and bounds better especially the colors

    Pro tip: When putting on the headset, position the back of the strap as low as it can go on your head, almost to the point that it's touching the back of your neck. It really helps with centering your eyes and mitigating blurriness and the mura effect.

      This isn't the correct way though. You wouldn't be able to wear headphones. Its a "halo" design made to go up higher. I recommend putting on a pair of pulse headsets and going from there. The headset helps BIG TIME find the comfy sweet spot.

    Had no idea about the passthrough audio thing, checking that later for sure!
    That cable clip at the end, is that reversible to allow the cable to go downwards instead of up?

    Definitely recommend getting pulleys for the ceiling. Works great and keeps the cord out of the way

    Hey guys if you are having a problem with the battery life and want unlimited battery life all you need is: Jeans with two back pockets, 2 Powerbanks (preferably compact ones but it is up to you) You will need two usbc cables and then you are set. Put the powerbanks. in your back pockets let the cables from each run up your shirt and down your sleeves into the strans of the PSVR2 and you will have unlimited power and it won't get in the way if you have a long sleeve. Never tried it with a short sleeve.

    Do you recommend prescription lens for the psvr2? Like from HONSVR?

    The cable and the lenses can be replaced if needed! Sony went over how to do this at home.

    Pro tip: To align the headset correctly every time just use the pass through text as your sharpness example. If your headset is already set up the is will allow you to adjust it quickly without going to a separate menu. Just adjust till the text is sharp then you’re good to go.

    I used the psvr1 and I can't believe how good of an upgrade it was from 1 to 2.
    Big fan of the button that let's you see your surroundings.
    Don't like the fact that i need to purchase a separate part to play ps4 vr games (I sold my psvr1 and upgraded to psvr2)

    Please help. I was half asleep and trying to put the headset on my friend to try and I did not realize that the adjusting front lens part was on the top instead of the bottom. I stupidly spent 10 minutes trying to pry the hole across from the pass through. It's a tiny bit scratched up now :( . What is that hole that looks like speakers I can't find anything online.

    Word to your mother: if you use those magsafe adapters and you have a ceiling fan or anything that might lead to dust, I would strongly recommend against using these.
    All it takes is one decent dustbunny to land between your magsafe adapter and your magsafe charger and you can fry not just the PSVR but also the all-too important USB-C port on the front.
    A simple cord extension with an easy release is enough, especially if you tape it down facing you while playing. There's no reason to get magnets involved.
    Play on, playa!

      Should be but if you’re out you can always add storage internally or externally. My other PSVR2 video. I show how to install more memory.

    What advice does anyone have for playing at night in a dimly lit room? I'll be playing resident evil and look down at the floor only to disconnect and reconnect after looking back up

    “Cinema” mode. I wish the can give us screen options here. Like give us screen options. Like imax or let us move the screen away further. But the cinematic mode is very underwhelming

    Should i buy the PSVR 2? I have never had a VR headset and im wondering of its really worth its price. I have a PS5 and im wondering if its worth it.

    • @HotshotTek
      @HotshotTek  Рік тому

      Since you already have the system, I would recommend getting it, but you may want to wait a little longer because rumors suggest that the price will soon go down. So I'll wait for summer just in case.

      I've been wanting to get into VR since I first tried on a friend's Occulus Quest dev kit, and even before in the 90s when speculation for a VR market started to take shape with the launch of the virtual boy. In my opinion and from my limited experience, it's a fantastic jumping off point for getting into VR gaming. It has honestly changed the way I play and look at video games. Just temper your expectations in the amount of polished titles you'll see.

      I got mine as a gift. If you can handle motion sickness like a champ, go for it. I played gt7 using psvr2 and I couldn't handle the motion sickness; I felt dizzy for the whole day after only playing 5 min. This motion sickness is my no.1 issue that I stopped using it. Also, the screen on the psvr2 is not as clear as you see on what they show in UA-cam videos so be mindful about it.

      PSVR2 has been my first headset, and I'm loving it. If you already have a ps5, you're good to go.
      You have Horizon, GT7, RE8, Pavlov, After the fall
      So many good games you can play right now

    Yikes. Mag releases are dangerous. DO NOT DO THIS! Mag quick releases can cause static feedback that can fry your headset or ps5.

    Great tips! I would just ask you to refrain from referring to a PSVR2 or any gaming equipment as an 'investment'. There is no way these can appreciate in value, only depreciate. Just like a car. It's an 'expensive purchase' or 'expensive gadget'. (Investments can be things other than stocks, bonds, real estate... Like an education. Or time spent learning how to become a successful UA-camr. But not a gaming platform. Your younger viewers need to hear this.)

    • @HotshotTek
      @HotshotTek  8 місяців тому

      Umm , what are you talking about? If you can’t understand it, that’s on you. There are different perspectives on the term ‘investment.’ While gaming equipment may not appreciate like traditional investments, it can provide valuable experiences, entertainment, and even potential income for some through content creation. So, it could be seen as an investment in one’s hobbies and interests, even if it’s not a financial investment in the traditional sense.

    • @rob1733
      @rob1733 8 місяців тому

      @@HotshotTek Nice try, and way to be condescending to someone just providing constructive criticism. In your world, a gaming headset can be considered an investment because it helps you monetize your channel. But for the average consumer, it is a losing proposition. But I agree with you otherwise: that is NOT to say it isn't a valuable purchase. And the purchase of it can be JUSTIFIED for all the good reasons you mention, but it should never be considered an investment. You do your younger viewers a disservice by pretending (and teaching them) otherwise.
