Extra tip, use the extra tracking option on the Ps5 settings, as it will output a outline with ps5 logos on your TV output. This will help the VR for better tracking of your movements
Extra tip: reduce the brightness of the display, especially if you're prone to VR sickness. Reducing it down to 70% will make very little difference, and reducing it even as down as 50% will still output awesome brightness, and save your eyes and your stomach, lol.
Thank you for this! So many “tips” videos out there that all say the same exact things hidden behind pushing extra products and their discount codes without considering money factors. Your tips are actually very useful… for everyone. I plan on spending $600 this week for one and don’t want to also buy expensive perception lenses, extra head straps, special cables with sliders, more storage space for PS5, ect… so thank you! 🙏
Hi great vid. The easiest way I found of setting up the headset was when in the text setup screens. If the headset is not on you in the position it needs to be to suit you, everyone is different, the text or boxes etc. will have pink lines with them. You will have to adjust the position of the headset on your head to remove the pink lines. After that all the other settings seem to be easier to calibrate. Have fun
I require glasses, but don't use them on my Quest 2, so don't wear them and makes little or no difference to how clear it is for me, so maybe due to how your medium vision is
Great video, and thanks for the tips! The unfortunate thing for me regarding #10 is that it is always just a little bit blurry for me, regardless of how I fine-tune the headset's placement and focus. Weird as it sounds, the Quest 2 did a much better job in terms of adjustments for me.
Unfortunately that will be the case for some due to the individuality of the human body, I get the same with the HTC Vive 2 Pro at my local VR arcade. I know there are after market fit kits for the PSVR2 that change the padding, add straps etc, might be worth looking at.
Used it way back in psvr1 days, since then I’ve got the quest 2,pico 4 and psvr2 and in a little while I’ll be getting quest 3 as it’s my birthday in November 😃
The Headset is adjustable forward and Backwards with the press of a button. You can accidentally push the Headset in too much where the lens will be touching your glasses. Unfortunately, I have had this happen and because, my glasses and the lens where touching during my Gaming session it rubbed a mark that is not removable. But, luckily, it doesn't effect my view. But, you can clearly see I scratched my lens. I am thinking of investing in those custom made prescription lenses he mentioned in the video. But, in the mean time I just make sure the Headset isn't pushed in too far to where the lens do touch.
@DG-ly9wo thanks for the advice 👍 Gonna order lenses from VR Wave (already used them for my quest 2, so i know they're good) I'll be careful in the meantime
The system sets up a virtual zone to play in, when you get too close to the edge of that zone you get a red warning in the headset. You can still go past that digital barrier but it is there to try and prevent you from crashing into things
I disagree, being into astronomy the rule here is only clean when you see it starts degrading image. The more you clean the lenses the more micro scratches and risk of damage can happen, so only clean lenses if its effecting your view. I never touch lenses unless needed, and have so far had my Quest 2 since launch and never have had to clean the lenses. Over cleaning will lead to damage, and consider cleaning lenses after each use over cleaning. Yes the rest of the headset is fine, just leave the lenses
I dont understand why they didn't make the function button a Press/hold/double tap type of deal. Then you could use it for Both, and even a third function. Makes no sense.
I Appreciate the Tips very useful. Especially the pass-through button being able to be changed and having access via the Controller by simply double pressing the PS button and them X for view surroundings. 😉👌 My Tip would be to always play sitting down to make sure you don't mistakenly run into anything or punch a very expensive TV. Also, if you're able too, invest in a Woojer Vest 3 this expensive accessory will add another level of enjoyment to the immersion. It is absolutely amazing being able to feel the sound. I highly recommend. Noticed you were playing some Crossfire Sierra Squad. My Tip for that game is play with a Friend in Co-op it is where the game shines. I bought another PS5 and PSVR2 so me and My girlfriend can play together it is So Much Fun! 😁👍🪖🎮🕹💯

Depends if the game has reprojection. Reprojected = lower brightness. Native = Any you like.
Nice appearance by sushi ☺️! I enjoyed the dancing with the cable... I get more and more jelz of this psvr2 everytime I see ur videos
What can I say, she's the star of the show not me 😂
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use any liquid on the lenses. Dry microfibre cloth ONLY.
is there a way to undo the damage? Ive been using Zeiss lens wipes
dry wipes just smear sweat

Glad it was helpful!
Amazing tips! I don't have a PSVR2 yet, but I'll check back on this once I manage to get one!

Indeed your vision matters is also why headset resolution is important
all great tips except for number 8, you must not put apply any liquid on the lenses, use microfiber cloth only.

Great set of tips. I like the cut of your gib. Subscribed :)
Recommend glasses spacers? I just ordered the silicone ones over the hard plastics.
Great video, sensible, useful tips that anyone can achieve
Glad you enjoyed it
Keep up the good work bro 👍
Just a caveat to tip#1: since your eyes focus at a distance in VR you should NOT use your reading glasses with a VR headset
The best tip to combat motion sickness, have a fan blowing at your chest area, trust me it works
Love this tip

Tip number one ☝🏽 do not have a green room. It can’t see 💩 and the tracking is useless. You need a well lighten room.
This seems like a very specific, but very valid tip 😂
Can you watch movies in psvr2 like big screen?
Getting my psvr2 this week, I've heard mixed reports about how it is with glasses in the headset, should I be worried about scratching the lenses?
I've had zero issues, the headset lenses don't touch the glasses when set up correctly so neither have been scratched
The Headset is adjustable forward and Backwards with the press of a button. You can accidentally push the Headset in too much where the lens will be touching your glasses. How do you keep from crashing into things using VR?

@@Doragon86 thanks
What is the koh spray? Alcohol and water? What else is safe to wipe it with?
Only warning on the label is Potassium Hydroxide
i usually use rubbing alcohol to clean my headset m stuff
No alcohol, there is a fragile protective film on the lenses

All that detail for the cable and you keep your PS5 in a shelf🤦🏾♂️
... seriously? your first tip is "use glasses"? trust me... people wearing glassas know they need to wear their glasses to see... xD
TIP 11..
.DONT BUY THE PSVR...Get the Quest 3 instead...
Why be like that? Why come onto a video about a specific product to hate on it?
Don’t be a troll dude… take your BS elsewhere.
