Not gonna lie, this is the single best PSVR2 introduction video I've seen. Answered so many questions I had getting into VR for the first time. Thanks man!
Absolutely one of the best most in depth reviews of the PSVR2. Outstanding presentation. I wish others reviewing it went as in depth as you did. You answered a lot of questions I had about it. Thank you. Just subscribed.
Great review and set of bits of advice. This is my first VR headset ever, and I must admit that I was expecting that the resolution would be pretty much the same as we experience on modern TVs and monitors; I appreciate you being upfront and making this statement, a lot of reviewers failed to do the same.
@@nicknasty14 I'm not exactly disappointed, it is still fun and immersive, but I got the feeling that based on all the advertising and reviews I ended up having higher expectations. It amazes me how most of the reviewers simply decided to not talk about the actual resolution, instead, they just praised it. But I hear you man, hopefully you can find a way to enjoy your headset.
Me too. The high contrast thing was confusing me because I didn’t know if I should return it or not. Surprised another reviewer didn’t do a video like this before but Mystic is great.

Hands down the best PSVR2 review (and god knows I have seen most of them). This set was my very first VR experience and having watched a BUNCH of reviews beforehand, frankly I thought my set was broken. I wish I had got to watch this one first!! All in all the PSVR2 is utterly incredible and I am blown away by it every time I play it, but the little tidbits and explanations in this video will be super useful to people who are about to buy one. Great job 👏
Really helpful video. I got PSVR2 on launch day but learned some new things here. You are spot on about expectations. I don't know why I expected the picture quality to be flawless like a 4k TV. It's a definite improvement over PSVR but my expectations were unrealistic going into PSVR. Despite that, I absolutely love VR2 and have played it almost every day.
Very good and helpful explanations, not only for PSVR2, also for VR headsets in general. One more thing: if your are still curious why 4K in VR isn't that sharp like 4K on a screen, google for "pixel per degree". To give a glimpse: When we talk about the sharpness of an image, we must not talk about resolution, we actually mean pixel density. Also, a VR headset uses a lot of pixel "twice" to create the stereoscopic view (binocular overlap). So in total, you need a lot more pixel in a VR headset to get the same visual quality like on a flat screen. This is why VR needs so much rendering power.
I was one of those people that was disappointed at first. I never played vr so was expecting crystal clear image. I’m enjoying it much more now. Be careful going to hard though. Im just getting over a VR hangover and that shit is wild.
Tempering expectations I think was a huge point - even for me. I didn't know what to expect other than having the PSVR1 and after using it for 2 days it was a huge upgrade. It does take a bit of time to get VR legs, but I'm enjoying it a lot. Zombieland has been so fun just trying to do better each time.
Thank you for this. I've had the PS VR2 since launch and I set my expectations way too high because of the reviews. But I've learnt to accept that this is how VR is. Your video should help people that don't have a headset yet temper their expectations.
This is my first vr experience and although I was blown away by the immersion, I was expecting the image quality to be the same as modern 4k TVs. The mura effect bothers me sometimes when I'm not fully immersed to the point I though I had a defective unit. I'm glad to know it's normal. Thanks for the honest review. I still recommend PSVR2, just manage your image quality expectations
Great to actually not only hear in detail all of the various terms related to VR but also see the effects of them on the screen! Extremely useful for new comers :)
Part of the problem was Sony using the Social Screen output for marketing footage which is upscaled vs the halved resolution in the HMD (half split for each eye). All the marketing footage looked very crisp from it vs other VR headsets which had direct feed captures. Those of us with PCVR weren't expecting something equal to a 4k tv, yet are still satisfied with price and features.
Thank you for this video. This is my first VR system and every other review of the PSVR2 says how crystal clear it is , making me think ( and I'm sure many others) that my unit may be defective , not knowing that everything I'm seeing through the psvr2 is normal !
Got it day 1 as I did with version 1 it’s amazing always will need new games like any other gaming machine but it’s so much clearer the mode to look through to see your room is the best feature and 100 games in development confirmed as well . future off psvr looking bright😊
Amazing video Mystic! Great! I started in VR back 2016 with PSVR 1 and few years later jumped to Quest 2 and PCVR (using wired Quest 2). For sure I like my PSVR2 and the eye tracking experience, the controls, first party games and so. I hardly notice screen door effect and mura is ok for me, but the reprojection is a real crime for a pretty game as Call of the Mountain. Hoping they update this game to run in native 90hz. Pavlov, for exemple, is so smooth in PSVR2!
Thanks for such a detailed and honest review! My expectations were way too high coming from my LG C1 OLED display and this helped me understand the limitations of the current tech. After a week of getting used to it, I’m loving mine. 10/10 would recommend.
Thank you for making it clear how the screen will actually look. I was shocked in a bad way when I tried the original PSVR because the image quality looked so bad, while in all the trailers they looked crystal clear. I actually thought I had a defected unit, but it turned out that's how it was. So it is good to now how VR2 actually looks and also I appreciate the actual game footage so I can see the quality of the image myself. They still use much clearer video for the trailers, sadly.
Frensel lens. It's the one thing to know beforehand. It causes significant chromatic aberration on the edges of your vision, and general blur anywhere but the very center of your vision. On top of that, the sweetspot is incredibly small and if you don't have a bump in the back of your head for the headset to hang onto, it'll frequently slip out of that spot no matter how tight it is. These two problems combine to give someone like me, who's been playing VR since late 2017, nausea for the first time in VR. Had to return it, despite being excited for my preorder :/
thanks for a great detailed and unbiased review. You're the only review that really talks in depth about setting expectation and what to expect . you sold me me on it. i'm buying it thanks to you and your review 🤘🏽
Great video! I came from no previous VR experience and like many others.. with how other outlets talk about how crystal clear everything was.... I was a little unsure if some of the outer edge blurriness or the blurriness at a distance or in motion was down to my eyesight. I'm now allot more confident these drawbacks are normal and can just enjoy it for what it is. I'm really enjoying it and Im glad I jumped into VR. 😁
This is the best “expectations” video I’ve seen on psvr2 so far. I own the headset and from my perspective as someone completely new to VR, if you’re reason for buying was your interest in the experience part of VR gaming then this headset and the experience won’t disappoint you. If you’re used to cranking the resolution and setting up on a high powered PC to get cutting edge performance and results then VR might not be ready for you. Also the best advice I’ve heard on finding the sweet spot (and I’ve searched manyyyy posts and videos because it took me days to figure out the sweet spot process) was to calibrate your headset comfort by putting the headset on, closing your eyes, and just making it generally comfortable. Then turning in the headset, shut your left eye and focus on the middle “o” in the “hold the controller” welcome message that floats on your screen. Make sure they “o” is crystal clear. When you open both eyes you should be ready to go. If not, try moving the lenses forward more (or back). Cheers all!
I know its just cause of what you're doing, but the way you're standing at 2:07 is really funny to me. It just looks like you're defeated in a way. Thank you for mentioning that VR is not some kind of super crystal clear experience as well. I see that complaint a lot from newbies followed by veterans who are like "first time?"
I played other VRs and this is really good . I think you were being a little too safe with your review so that you don’t disappoint or anger anyone . Here are the facts if you can stand VR motion sickness , your going to live the immersion and great graphics and haptics that also adds more depth . Hint :::: if you experience motion sickness take pepmo bismo and limit your side to side looking , take it slow. Anyways either you like BR or you don’t and if you like VR this is for you
Good approach to level set. Lots of good information. I'd like to have seen even more discussion of the delta betwen PSVR and VR2. This is the only experience i've had and would love to know the differences....e.g., screen drift (has this been eliminated with inside out tracking? viewing media content was good (theater-like) but the screen drifted), screen door (x% less than PSVR, which had extensive screen door), HDR support (none on PSVR), etc.
Awesome breakdown. Just got mine yesterday and very much saw a lot of what is described here. It really helps understand if what I am experiencing is a personal/setup limitation or a technology/implementation limitation. Thx for this!
"Reprojection" is used by virtually all VR games, is generally turned on, and generally out of the control of the developer (afaik -- there is little discussion on this type of implementation nuance). The developer supplies a framebuffer (or two) to the API, and the API 'corrects' the orientation at the last moment before display (eg. 1ms -- the API also composites data, and corrects chromatic aberration, etc) to minimize latency and disparity between head motion and rendered output. I'm curious to see first-hand the PSVR2 ghosting artefacts that others are talking about. Either Sony is using a really strange reprojection scheme (which would conceivably be correctable by a firmware update), or it is a hardware limitation (eg. pixel retention). I'm not certain if PS5s VR API allows bypassing reprojection. Allowing raw framebuffer access (or a naive composite) would almost certainly obviate future backward-compatibility, as the app would be displaying for the physical characteristics of the PSVR2 not a future PSVR3 requiring a implementation-specific software port. But there are significant performance benefits to allowing framebuffer access. For example, you can lower final fragment counts by doing lens distortion correction in the vertex shader rather than supplying a buffer that is a multiple of the screen resolution.
@@dolan_plzSame here coming off original PSVR. I decided to keep that and send back the PSVR2. Just not that much of an upgrade in picture quality to warrant $600 for just a couple games. I was way more wowed trying the PSVR for the first time vs the new one. Big letdown in my opinion
I spent my first evening playing the PSVR2 last night, and I'm very used to both the quest 2 and pcvr. This things awesome. Graphics and colors are much better than the Quest, and while a high end pc can make vr look as good, ease of setup and use of the PSVR are much better than PC vr. Plus the high quality haptic controllers and rumble built in the headset itself are just awesome.
Very helpful video Ryan. My big issue is the PSVR2 nearly made me late for work! Quest 2 has the two hour battery life that reminds me to have a break. 🤣 As a spectacle wearer, I find the PSVR2 suprisingly comfortable, but you need to wear it correctly as Ryan shows. 👍🇬🇧🙂
I been watching ur videos for a while now been xbox for a long time but recently converted to ps , and ur videos are super helpful and informative, u also deliver info in such a clean, simple to understand way thanks man
This is the best video I've seen so far that explains what you should expect to see based on the limitations of the hardware. I got a PSVR2 last week and it was my first ever time using a VR headset, and I have to say I was so underwhelmed - not least because I had no idea about the 'sweet spot' I had to find. Now that my expectations have been reset and I've found the sweet spot I think it looks amazing. GT7 in particular is so spectacular. I just wish I'd seen this video before my first play session though.
I found having bright light in the room helps the tracking without using the border on TV. I have an oled so I don't want to burn in the border. I had my light dimmed down and CotM would lose tracking constantly. Now I have my light turned all the way up when using vr. I feel the more used to vr I get, the less impact the stereoscopic 3d has. Like it almost becomes 2d to me. Getting your eyes centered vertically on the adjust visibility screen is very important for a clearer image.
Awesome review! This is the most honest review I have seen. Everyone should watch your video before they buy this headset. So many people claiming crystal clarity - I knew they were full of shit as that is not what I, and many others were seeing. I am going to link this video everywhere I can. Also subscribed. Thank you!!!
Good review. Day one I noticed the reprojection. It’s bad in horizon and I get hand stutter as well. Re village is great but has the reprojected blurr. I’d definitely like an option to run it at 90 w/o reprojection. I’ve also had tracking issues and have had to turn my controllers off and on to fix it. Also, quality of life things like volume adjustment must be fixed. I have to go through several screens to adjust volume unless using pulse 3d but that’s too slippery and falls off when I look up and puts pressure on my glasses. Overall I like it and I think there’s a ton of potential but sony has to fix these issues or it won’t take off
Thanks for the honesty. Most reviewers were saying "It is so sharp!", "It looks crystal clear!", " It looks better than on my tv!". Was all bullshit, and now feels like they are trolling us by still saying "Well, yours must not be adjusted properly, mine looks sooo sharp". It looks clear in VR terms. But objectively speaking no way. Image is soft and has ghosting and mura issues.
Cinema mode *does* look better than my 4k/120hz/HDR Sony X90J - while costing half as much. The HDR OLED gives considerably more than this 'ghosting and softness' you're whining about which i don't even see, and Mura is from not putting the headset on properly - "Objectively" doesn't mean what you seem to think it means.
@@Eunostos Lol, might want to get another 4k tv then. And some glasses to see the mura. It is objectively a soft and grainy picture when compared to anything other than another VR headset. Don't be delusional.
Your video definitely does a lot better job at explaining the pros and cons of the device than most other videos. Unfortunately I am experiencing most of the visual and fit issues you mentioned. I'll see if I get used to it but my first impression is not as good as I was hoping for.
Dude really helpful video, this is my first VR and sometimes I’m frustrated of how it looks and the setup and you answer all of them for me. Thank you.
Excellent, informational video! I ditched my first PSVR2, but your video has inspired me to try again. Apparently that grainy image is "normal" after all :)
This is a really great video, Ryan! Every review I've seen of PSVR 2 has described the display as being this "crystal clear 4K" image and when I got mine it left me feeling slightly disspointed. I thought, "what am I missing here? Is mine faulty? Maybe its my eyes?". Don't get me wrong I'm really enjoying the headset, the ease of setup makes it worth the price of admission alone for me, but all the IGN style reviews I saw kind of set me up for dissappointment. Everyone considering buying one needs to see this first lol
Thank you for saying that the image is not crystal clear. Even DF is saying the image is "sharp". And then people who never had a VR before jumps into it full of expectations just to be frustrated afterwards.
My two issue I've had with PSVR2 has been the issue with one of the controllers loosing functionality during a game. From what all I've read online, it's widely known and experienced. The cause is being claimed firmware. Whether it's game or just controller themselves. ATM the two solutions till it's patched that I know of is clearing your cache and/or resetting your controller while in game. The second one isn't really an issue I guess since the system was just released, but the available games are few. At least the types I liked on VR1
Рік тому+1
Hey, thanks a lot for the in depth video on this. I thought I was reasonably well versed in VR but I actually learned quite a bit here. Didn't know about the mura effect or about the frame rate interpolation trickery for example. Good to know that it can be mitigated somewhat with lower brightness. Anyway thanks!
Best review of psvr2 I've seen yet and I've watched a LOT of them. Already got my headset and this is the video I will be recommending to people on the fence.
Coming from PSVR 1 and trying a friends PSVR 2, I was blown away with horizon, but as someone who doesn't get motion sickness I am really disappointed by battles being on-rails. I wish that was an option for those who want simpler gameplay. I tried Resident Evil 8 as well and wasn't too into it TBH. I played the game already normally, and the floating hands were just so hilarious. The shooting and everything felt really nice, but I wasn't scared with what I played to. It is also a change that you need to light your room well. I am used to darkening my room for the tracking lights to be visible, which I don't mind. I don't have great lighting either though so I'm not sure if it would work in my setup.
Ryan thanks so much for a thoughtful and very professional explanation of the image quality quirks, no other reviewer has detailed this so far! I’m considering a buy primarily for the Cinematic/120hz mode, as it would fit my living situation well. Is the screen door effect (and other described visual oddities) also prevalent in this mode?
Lowering the brightness from full brightness to and then 2 notches down does wonders. It’s still really bright but all of the mura and screen door effect disappears
@@SpeciasThat’s simply just not true. I’ve lowered the brightness to halfway and still you can see plenty of screen door effect. Especially playing RE village and GT7 from what I’ve noticed. Texturing is also not the greatest, washed out colors and low res textures playing horizon. Right up close your hands and bow will look sharp as they are intended, like in the first PSVR. Everything else looks washed out and low res. For me the upgrade in graphics coming off the first PSVR are very minimal. Everything else is a step up, but don’t think you’re gonna be looking at a much better image, because youre not.
@@nicknasty14 oh, I wasn’t really exaggerating. Then again the only games I have played are kayak, swordsman and zombie land. And in those cases it indeed helped. Now the lower res and all seems like that’s a bit of a let down but that is mostly due to the reviewers overhyping.
I play many of my flatscreen PS5 games this way (and did with the PSVR1 beforehand, instead of fighting with the BF for the TV) - the screen door is subtler than VR mode but it *is* visible if you look for it so if you think that would bother you i'd not recommend it unless you can try one out. For me it's my first experience with OLED HDR, making it better than our twice-as-expensive 4k/120hz Bravia X90J.
Thank you for being a voice of reason. So many reviewers gush over the visuals and completely misrepresent the actual viewing experience. I am sure tens or even hundreds of thousands of gamers will be severely disappointed with PSVR2 or any other cheap-ish headset
yes, while psvr2 has great visuals for a vr headset. When a reviewer says it's visuals are great it doesn't mean crystal clear almost real life like clarity. Most VR first timers will think that when a reviewer says great visuals it will think that its crystal clear almost real life like. That's where the misconception is. This is great visuals for ~500$ but be prepared and keep your expectations in check when trying VR for the first time. Also for first timers they will complain or be disappointed at things that are fairly common in VR like mura or reprojection.
@@emikomina Get exactly what you mean, im coming from the first psvr which i accept is very blurry, but i still feel very immersed when playing. I think i’ll be very happy with psvr2 if i decide to pick it up.
As an avid VR user, the PS VR2 should actually blow the minds of a first time user, in my opinion. I'm still in shock about how good Gran Turismo looks.
It’s an improvement over Quest 2 and PSVR1. I think most of peoples issues are with newcomers to vr headsets expecting a sharp crystal clear 4k image like is output to the tv when not even the highest end PC headset is not that (yet).
First ever VR headset and it's blowing my mind! Insane. Horizon VR is literally mind blowing as a first time vr gamer. I'm 31 and this is my first ever VR game. Only odd thing is the cable is attached to the headset. I'll be pissed if my cable ends up tearing or something. This also seemed like an obvious choice for me since I have a ps5. Although I do worry about how long it will stay supported and relevant. No worries for a few years at least though.
I've been having an issue with Light Brigade with tracking. Thank you for mentioning the TV being on. Definitely going to try that out when I get off work.!
This was brilliant. I loved (still love) my PSVR1. I desperately miss my vast (& expensive) PSVR1 library, albeit mostly because the PSVR2 launch lineup is inescapably barren by comparison, including to other VR systems at-launch. The reviews about Gran Turismo 7 in VR, for example, all seem to ignore it's the same experience we've been having in Gran Turismo Sport for years just without the hardware limitations; *design-wise* it's literally identical, giving a very similar experience, even including the same missing in-race data, for example. I love my PSVR2 in spite of the "sweet spot" feeling more finnicky this time & the missing content, but right now I'm barely touching it. I can't even test a HOTAS joystick yet, which is outright baffling for the *sequel* VR headset launch from Sony. Can't wait to see the future, for sure.
Coming from PSVR1, I'm really satisfied with the PSVR2. Based on the early reviews, I must admit that I expected much clearer visuals, even though some indoor areas in Resident Evil look so lifelike it's spooky. I'm also one that was never bothered by the mura effect of the first headset, and here it's even less apparent so I have no problem with that. I'm a bit disappointed when I get controller tracking issues, as it is the one thing that bothered me the most with PSVR1, and expected the inside out tracking to be flawless. I also miss the immersive feeling of using the Aim Controller, but having the ability of manually reloading weapons is a good compromise. Overall I think it's a great upgrade from the first headset and probably the best choice for any PlayStation 5 owner.
I am not sure mystic is well versed in VR. Racing games are a great start to VR because GT7 has a great refresh rate and everyone who has used my setup has had zero issues jumping right into a racing game. any FPS VR game is what you need to ease into. there is also almost no real screen door effect and infact I never noticed it. Also the display will get updates and games will get better and better optimization. Other than that good video.
5:27 so glad I watch this video just got one for $280 on Black Friday at Sam’s club and this would bug me and though I just got a defective one, sure enough this explained everything and perfect example also
PSVR2 is essentially the width of 1080p per eye (2000px), so in focus and assuming 1:1 final resolution -- which will be game dependent -- it would be like looking at a 1080p monitor up close.
It is in Length though the pixels of a 4K tv. Don't forget too that the screen is cut in half. From 16:9 to 1:1. So it is indeed a 4K screen in pixel density, but the eyes are too close to it, so it has to not be as clear as a 4K tv.
@@thesherlockhokage3046 I didn't forget, which is why I clearly stated PER EYE. At 2000x2000 per eye, it's taller to accommodate the FoV needed for VR, but the pixels in both PSVR2 and 1080p screens are square, and the angular size of the pixel each eye sees, is something similar to 1080p from close up. The screen is only 4K if you consider the two eye panels as being a a single display. But they are not. As you mentioned, they are cut in half, and each half is designated an eye. In other words, the "4K" PSVR2 display must show TWO distinct scenes. In a traditional 4K screen, both eyes see a single 4K scene. In PSVR2 each eye sees the width of roughly 1080p. Calling it 4K is accurate for developers considering rendering fragment loads, but misleading for viewers expecting clarity of a 4K flatscreen display.
@@SeanLumly Yes. It is between both. Something like 3K. Because vertically it is 4K vertical, horizontally it is 2K horizontal. But as pixel density counts, it is as dense as a 4K screen per given area. The difference will be here that instead of the whole image being on a wide horizontal field, it would be on a square one. It would be like using a squared 4K tv?
@@thesherlockhokage3046 Nope. It is 2000x2000 per eye. The view resolution cannot be higher than this. The thing you're looking at is limited to a 2000x2000 image. It is not like viewing a 3K image. It would be almost EXACTLY like using a squared 1080p close to your face.
@@SeanLumly Yes but think about it. When you are using a 4K TV, the whole image you have is not judt wider. It shows you more of the game. Now on a square TV, would it show you the same image squashed? Or less of the image to fit the scrèen? If it is the first, then it is only 1080p. If it is the second, then it gooes to 4K? Beside that, the vertical pixel count is 2000 pixels in both headset and TV. We have the vertical as same. And the horizontal as half assuming the pictire was squashed to the square. What makes the screen 4K then odr any resolution is the total pixels per area. So for 4K, it is 2160×3840= About 8.3 million pixels 1080p or 2K is 1080×1920= about 2.1 million pixels This screen is 2040×2000= 4.08 million. So it is half 4K and double 2K🤔

Best and most honest review I have seen on UA-cam. I experienced everything you mentioned and decided to return my PSVR2.
Very nice of you going through this in details! I have the VR2 and I was worried that I was unable to set it up properly, now I know it is intended :)
This is by far the best Video to PSVR2 yet. Simple and easy to understand. Greetings from Germany.
It takes some tweaking, but once you get the “sweet spot”, it’s amazing!!! Can’t wait to see what other AAA games come out for this device!
I pre-ordered mine but I'm going to watch this anyway because it's a Mystic video.
This was easily the most helpful of all the psvr2 videos I’ve seen, thank you!
Mystic definitely does the best PlayStation news, reviews, and updates here on UA-cam
Top of the line review of the PSVR2! This should be the first steps guide for any enthusiast that's bought it!
new studio is so awsome, happy for you my man
Best Playstation/gaming UA-cam channel. Period. Sony should be thankful and proud of your many contributions .
Coming from PC VR I wasn't initially blown away but the more I use the PSVR2 the more I appreciate it. Its almost as if its adapting to me and I it.
this is by far the best and most balanced video I have seen on the PSVR2 from a generally non VR channel this is amazing. thankyou
Cheers all!
Ryan, this video is the best visual and verbal description of potential VR issues I have come across after seeing a lot of PSVR2 videos. Thank you.
The best advise. So many reviews showing screen footage and then saying how good it is. Thank you
I love you mystic your content is literally tailored for me and personally get a lot of enjoyment out of your channel as a whole.
Thx for this!
specifically really appreciate the thoughtfulness of future proofing the guide on how to find demos, very clever!
I have seen a lot of Psvr2 video this week but this one is by far the best, you have answered all my questions ! Thanks you.
Ordered it yesterday. Looking forward to my first VR experience!
For a first VR it will be amazing
I been watching ur videos for a while now been xbox for a long time but recently converted to ps , and ur videos are super helpful and informative, u also deliver info in such a clean, simple to understand way thanks man
the most trusted man in PS speaks
Don't be delusional.
only person who reviewed this product as an actually product . great video.
And thanks for adding me back on PlayStation 5 Mystic bro I do appreciate it buddy
Thanks for the double-tap tip! I had no idea.
Thank you for such an informative video. This is the only video about the VR2 that is truthful, factual and helpful.
Thank you for saying that the image is not crystal clear. Even DF is saying the image is "sharp". And then people who never had a VR before jumps into it full of expectations just to be frustrated afterwards.
Awesome video Ryan thanks for the insights 🙏🎮❤️🔥
The video towards the very end was so wholesome 😍🐈⬛️
This is the best rundown of the psvr2 I've seen, and I've watched a lot of reviews.
I’m definitely interested in this. Might pick it up for Christmas 2023.
It was the best video I've watched about PSVR2. Thank You so much.
@@Specias Awesome, thanks a lot!
Amazing video. Being new to VR I wish I had this day one to get rid of all the guesswork. Glad I found it now.
Got PSVR1, so i'm holding off until PSVR5 for the tech to be there
Hi. How did you manage to record through the lens plz ? Camera or smartphone ?
Fantastic video Ryan. I have been LOVING GT7 with VR+Wheel so much, I haven't even tried any other games yet!
Best PSVR2 tips video I've seen by far, some really helpful and detailed information in there, brilliant. 👏👏👏👏
Thankyou Ryan the double tap PS button was a big help . I didn’t know about it bringing up the vr menu . 👍👍
Great video! Answered a lot of my questions I've had after spending a week with psvr2 as my first vr device:)
Best tips and tricks I’ve seen up to now thanks Ryan 👏🏻👏🏻
The PSVR1 was great for it's price point and had a freaking kick butt library. So PSVR2 was an instant buy for me.
100% agree
First ever VR headset and it's blowing my mind! Insane. Horizon VR is literally mind blowing as a first time vr gamer. I'm 31 and this is my first ever VR game. Only odd thing is the cable is attached to the headset. I'll be pissed if my cable ends up tearing or something. This also seemed like an obvious choice for me since I have a ps5. Although I do worry about how long it will stay supported and relevant. No worries for a few years at least though.
If it is literally mind blowing, that means your mind has really exploded by now. You mean: figurally 😊
@@mennoemile1118 Quite literally actually, do not put it on. I am typing this from the afterlife.
Bravo Ryan on such an excellent and concise video mate! I've got PSVR2 and these tips have been invaluable (as well as educational) Nice one!
Can't wait to see the future, for sure.
why are you missing the PSVR1 library? I have both headsets plugged in atm.
I don't even own a ps5 or psvr2 but this video was still entertaining as many parts of the video can apply to all vr headsets. Good work!
I jumped straight into Resident Evil Village, Pavlov Horizon Call of the Mountain and Gran Turismo 7 and im new to any VR 😁
Cool new microphone(the Cats tail) :D Excellent video as always ;)
I am not sure mystic is well versed in VR. Racing games are a great start to VR because GT7 has a great refresh rate and everyone who has used my setup has had zero issues jumping right into a racing game. any FPS VR game is what you need to ease into. there is also almost no real screen door effect and infact I never noticed it. Also the display will get updates and games will get better and better optimization. Other than that good video.
This video was more helpful than all the videos on here about the psvr 2. Thanks 👍🏽
I love mine. GT7 is the system seller. Horizon CoTM is awesome - definitely not a tech demo. Moss 1 and 2 have my heart tho.
awesome video! I love the psvr 2 but the expectations were way out of control leading up to launch
So for 4K, it is 2160×3840= About 8.3 million pixels
1080p or 2K is 1080×1920= about 2.1 million pixels
This screen is 2040×2000= 4.08 million.
So it is half 4K and double 2K🤔
Best video on PSVR 2 yet.
