I absolutely loved that $5 pond and river kit from Walmart the hellgrammites slay! I caught a baby bass in an area known to only catch pan and Fishbrain wanted to know what I used. When nothing bites, the hellgrammite will induce
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻fantastic video and I enjoyed watching this. I am glad to see somebody catching trout with trout Slayer kit or these trout crayfish jigs. I've been using them since they first came years ago and still have not caught any trout with them. I did have a little luck catching panfish, perch and crappies but no trout with the trout Slayer kit. Yeah, it's sad but at least I caught other species instead.
I’ve got a friend who is a big fly fisherman that goes there all the time, and I think he is going to take me there soon. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Thanks for watching!
@@AaronsOutdoor1 You're welcome, I live North of Asheville NC and there's so many good trout streams, lakes and rivers here it take forever to name them all...tight lines!
It's awesome when you figure out what the fish are eating and you're the only one on the river with that lure.😂😂 Well, not so awesome for everyone else.🤷☺
Yeah thanks for the video, Ive been planning on getting the trout magnet kit with all the bobbers string, and lures and the trout slayer crawdad kit...your video has made up my mind! Ordering both today, merry Xmas to me!
You should gently place your combo in the water when unhooking the fish to make it easier . The shimano nasci is basically waterproof since it’s graded for salt water fishing it was seals all inside the reel to prevent water to seep thru , but I honestly wouldn’t feel comfortable putting a $100 in the water Idk I don’t wanna risk it lol ..
Good looking weather down there in Georgia. How recent is this video. If it is not to long ago, I'm envious. It is so cold here. Not much open water, but I'm dealing with it.
I had visited the trout hatchery in Buford last weekend and the staff said they have not gotten any brown trout fingerlings this year since the federal hatchery they get them from hasn’t been providing them for some reason. So any browns out there are holdovers or like in the Chattahoochee, they are naturalized.
Great video and a great day of trout fishing
@@raygissendanner1476 thanks!
This video is the reason I've bought every Trout Magnet item Leland Lures sells! Thanks Aaron, tight lines!
@DanOfTheWild They work like a charm, Ive caught trout, bluegills and even a couple of smallies on them. Its a great product.

This was about a week and a half ago. I can’t imagine not having much open water😳

Oh gotcha. That’s good to know, thanks!
Sounds to me like it sucks to fly fish there. That probably means the fish are only feeding in the lower water columns.🎣
