The crossover should have been a warbond, perhaps just a little more Like 1500 SC, they wouldn't have to make alterations to the store, which creates more boring work for the devs. Plus, it's too expensive for casual helldivers. I think a lot of people don't have the time for the grind and honestly grinding is so boring, I personally hate it.
Biggest problem I have with the collab cost is that the superstore prices have been inflating since the beginning of the game and this feels like the devs testing how far they can push their prices
So ? Every free game out here survives off of Season passes , skins etc .. They need to make money to run a live service game .. How many free updates we got since February? Ungrateful bastards
This. It's just a crazy recognizable pattern where games companies creep and creep into non-consumer practices until it eventually explodes. I hope ArrowHead doesn't do that :(
@@midwestrebel2 it doesnt matter, just because gaming is becoming worse and worse overtime doesnt mean you should be ok with it, these are predatory tactics that shouldnt exist period.
I had to agree with the comment from the video about the weekly challenge for super credits like we do metals. That plus maybe a conversation system in game for turning the thousands of spare requisition slips and samples into other currencies would greatly smooth things out all round in my mind so it never feels like wasted time in a mission to check POI's.
I understand the frustration with the high prices. From my own experience, it took approximately an hour and a half to earn the credits for the armor and gun. Given the time currently spent on the front with the illuminates, this is a reasonable investment of time.
I think everyone is exaggerrating just a bit with everything. But then again, if it isn't and everyone is just civil and respectful, then I'm pretty sure nobody would listen. Brushed off as a non-issue.
It's not exaggerating to say this stuff is overpriced and creates an unappealing precedent. You pay in reality 700 SC for a warbond (1000 SC but you get 300 back), that are charging you almost 1 warbonds worth of SC for just 1 gun. Yall act like it's a non issue some how
I am completely fine with the crossover breaking the established pricing mold. Having a gun in the store is iffy but as long as its not overpowered then I dont overly mind. If for example they throw in intentionally under-powered weapons with cool or funny features that is fine with me.
I think they could alleviate the Super Credits outrage thing if they gave us a monthly challenge where, if we succeed, we earn a couple hundred Super Credits.
@ its the principle of the matter in my opinion. You offer a special package give someone a reason to want it. Light armor pen is the cancer of assault rifles right now.
Cloud, the amount is a problem, and here's why; This is page ONE of TWO with the next releasing in 5 days. This means, you either have to grind 4000 super credits, or pay $40 for ALL of the killzone content. Yes it's in the shop forever, yes you can earn credits, but think about $40 for a minute. That is the price for the ENTIRE game, for 12 items. You get MORE than 12 items in one warbond. Also, why is nobody talking about making the existing protection armor effects 100% if we have this one at 50% across the board. Why would I bother using a different one? 50% is definately enough to stim with and not instantly die. Madness.
If they are going to start putting weapons behind a paywall, they need to fix the store so it’s not rotating anymore and you can just go in and buy what you want when you want. That gives people the time to grind and choose. Not everyone will be online and able to grind during the allotted 5 days and then to have to wait an undetermined amount of time. Changing the store is a win win and then people can voice support or non support with their wallets, for this game that isn’t FTP
@gamerbeast3616 you're missing the point, just because it's free doesn't mean people have time to farm for it in the 5 day window, which triggers known FOMO psychology Especially considering you get 10 per pickup, you need more than 60 individual drops for just the gun, which is about 2 or 3 weeks of casual play
Agreed, it’s giving off Destiny 2 vibes. The micro transactions are starting to get a little out of control. We just spent SC on the new Warbond, then the superstore dropped some new things (hi baton), now it’s a crossover with insanely overpriced items? Come on… they’re expecting people to spend on SC.
I believe the price can be a very hit or miss thing especially depending on what you do, most people might not have that much money to spare so then they will have to miss out on the limited armour set wheras someone who has a more flexible income wont have to worry about the price as much, this is probably why some people such as yourself aren't bothered about the price whereas some people are, personally i do think it is a bit expensive espicially the armour and the weaponwhich is why in total the set should at least be 1k-1.25k sc instead of 1.9k sc which is around $20 which sounds rediculous to me especially comparing the prices of warbonds where you get multiple sets of armour as well as weapons.
What "The Hog" and most people don't realize, the skin is priced about on par with most other games that do collaboration skins. Yes those games are often f2p but Helldivers is also not a full priced game to begin with even though the gameplay and updates are AAA quality. Imo it could have been a bit cheaper but I understand the pricing. They have a strong backbone being published with Sony sure, but they need to make income through some means considering you can farm the paid currency in this game unlike a lot of other live service games.
The Wasp is the best thing ever... You can get rid of hordes of elevated Overseers... Pair it with lots of sentries and use the sickle for the voteless and it's just easy mode!
Regarding the aesthetics of the killzone crossover, I'd say im quite happy with it. I was worried we'd get verbtim armors and guns, lucky this seems to not be the case, and it's actually just original armor and weapons inspired by the crossover IP.
There is a good chance Arrowhead didn't have much say on the pricing if Sony "allowed" them to have this crossover. Considering its for a title that hasn't done anything in several years, its Sony either building to a new Killzone release or just pulling out an IP they have to just use. Many deals like this come as a balancing act not on the game side but on the business side unfortunately. Its the problem of having a mother publishing company they can lay down rules. Its what Bungie ran into before they left Blizzard. Remember Arrowhead have given us a lot of cool things without having to pay. They have delivered well on a base game and given us ways to earn the SC through means. The warbounds and other evergreen style content is likely part of the deal they made with Sony because Sony is likely on the same kick as every other game dev right now, and they want retention and additional after release sales numbers. Don't get angry at Arrowhead, get angry at Sony. Make sure you place the blame in the right place. The people actually working on this game and putting in the hours are doing a good job.
i think what would make the cost so much more agreeable. is if they had lets say 3 super store pages, 1 dedicted to cross over content and stay's there for lets say 3 weeks between cross over's. and the other 2 just handle random super store items. this way you can just farm slowly and not break the bank, but also lets newer player's grab the older super store items that rarely appear.
People crying over nothing... dont want to pay, just play and grind. The killzone gear is in store for 5 days then its going to be in rotation... play and save your credits. If you dont want to touch your wallet... what live service allows you to earn premium currency ingame...
Nah, you’re being a ps simp. It’s a slippery slope. Not everyone has time to be in game grinding every day of the 5 days to get 2000 SC, especially when only 10 -20 at a time are found in game.
Dawg. It’s like 1900 super credits for the entire thing, I had enough to afford one helmet. People are complaining because they have a life outside the game. Just lower the price. There’s no point in it being that expensive
I'm not all that concerned with the super store cost, mainly cause I do play enough with friends where we collect most POI which over time adds up to a lot of SC being stocked up. Outside of that, dropping into low end (4 and under) difficulty results in the same amount of credits (10-200) and can be done relatively fast over all. Once the new FRV comes out, this will literally be a cake walk just driving to al the POI. Before this Warbond came out I was sitting at 8k SC and now I'm still over 5k. While yes, you have the option to buy SC, it isn't the only way to get them so it makes the complaint kind of meh over all. I get not everyone gets time to play too much, I'm one of those as my career has me doing frequent overtime. This means I may only get to play a few hours here and there per week, or when I am on no one else is that I know. Not just saying this to be all 'look how much SC I have ya noobs' it is just to say that getting the SC isn't nearly as bad as other live service games where not only is it in small amounts, but you're capped on how much you can get per day/week in other games. HD2 has no daily/weekly cap on how much you can farm up.
I hope they fix the illuminate spaceship only being able to be destroyed from one door soon. As for the Killzone stuff I was able to buy all of it with my saved up super credits so it’s cost wasn’t a problem for me.
I personally dont care about the price its my favorite game so i dont mind supporting them. Ive been playing since day one through every lag crash glitch everything. I understand its expensive for others who dont play everyday so u cant farm like everyone else so if tgey can atleast make premium store items cost a 1300 in total a little over a warbond would that be ok. I want to support them so i dont mind dropping $20 they earned it in my opinion because i dont play multiplayer games at all but tgis game is so addictive to me they got my full support
The main issue with the crossover shop items isn't the price (although yes, they are expensive like all crossover items are in all games) but the fact that new/unique weapons and armour passives have been added with no confirmation that they will be coming in the future (get them early through this collaboration or wait until the next war bond etc.). Unique weapons/ armour passives should be reserved for Warbonds, where you can buy the Warbond at any time, not the superstore for a limited time. If this was cosmetic only there would be way less backlash, but currently this is potentially a small step towards pay to win. If they do decide to keep this pricing and style of unique weapons, armour passives etc. going forward they need to put them in a new section of the store where you can buy them at any time (like we have for the Warbonds now) so you don't feel like you're going to miss out and have grind or pay more than you would like to get them before they're gone forever (because the store rotating is ridiculous, just let me see everything that I can buy).
I heard a solution that I thought was great and that was to make ALL superstore content available at all times and use the store rotation as a massive discount. People that really want a specific item that came out can always have the opportunity to grind out super credits at an inflated rate or drop some cash to get it before it goes off sale. A solution like that really avoids the FOMO of the store, and if later down the line we discover an armour set or weapon is OP, everyone can get it.
The point on the weapons in the store I agree with. I also don’t see a problem with the pricing, especially when it’s a crossover, meaning most likely that Arrowhead is paying royalties to get the crossover for each purchase of these items, which is even riskier for them when I know multiple people who have all the Warbonds and most the store armor who’ve grinded all the supper credits, making them actually lose money on those crossover purchases. We don’t know how Sony plays into it but realistically these things cost money and this will have to be the price for crossovers most likely. I’d be surprised if we don’t see that armor passive again like the (doubt killer unflinching) and two armor I see run all the time that I myself use are the heavy and light stim armor which is only in the super store and I haven’t heard anyone complain about that so idk
5:18 if buying a wepon from the supper store and it gets buffed is pay to win, then warbonds are too. I know it's not the same with you needing medals to access things in the warbonds, but you can easily not play for 2 weeks and automatically get the medals from completed MO's. I think all the problem is is that the prices are a tad high, my idea for it is to make the whole supper store page cost 1000 or lower supper credits as a whole.
My issue is that with the superstore crossover is that it doesn't give us enough time to grind for the pieces, especially after a new warbond JUST dropped.
You can easily farm the super credits also why are people complaining about a bundle in the store that costs as much as the Super citizen one but has more to offer? Lmao it’s Killzone it was obviously going to cost around 10 or 20 bucks
W hot take everyone is whining about new content also AH have to pay a license fee and killzone is a sony ip so they probably made an executive decision. But yea w take and thanks for not whining
For 20 bucks for a special themed warbond, we need: 6 or more guns, grenades, melee weapons now, skins and armors for things, 8 or more strategems of course, etc. It might seem like asking for a lot but for 20 bucks, you better bring a lot of bang for your buck! Dont let sony treat us how Activision treats cod!
I feel bad for Arrowhead... The Illuminate drop was a massive win for them, but just like always Sony had to swoop in and throw their shit into the fan. This is absolutely, 100% Sony's greedy work
Thanks for reminding me why i havent re-downloaded this game. Between glaze divers and people like you im glad im not part of this toxic community. It is funny to watch at this point. The chaos is hilarious 😂
I think it always should be like this: New thing drops. You don't want it? Don't buy then. You do want it? Then here are your 2 options: - Play the game and get the same stuff for free - Pay for SC if you want to support the devs a bit more Regardless the situation, this "controversy" is hilarious, as the items stay for 5 days AND will likely return in some other rotation. (btw the weapon is balanced very nicely)
I think the superstore should put out a schedule for what armor sets are gonna be in the store at the time. Like if a month long schedule of what armor sets are gonna be in the store would help with saving up and FOMO.
The armor set is insanely good for me bc I like using flame weapons and like not getting one shot from tripods, really good for flamer users bc you can just stand there and stim when it hits you with the arc
There still is gonna be a Warbond on December 23! This new Super Store is a promotion for the first collaboration for Helldivers 2 with Killzone 2. Righteous Revenants will be coming! However I believe the Super Store should rework the prices of Cosmetics. (Capes and banners 50, Helmet 150, Armor 250, Primary weapon 350, secondary 150, 100 skins)
2000+ super credits for a single armor set, cape, and weapon is absolutely insane… I get it’s a crossover, but that doesn’t excuse the crazy price tag. Please Arrowhead, let’s not go down the micro transaction route..
They need to reverse course immediately and make both parts of this collab a $20 warbond. You can just feel the greed with this drop. $20 for only part 1 and it’s in the damn super store? It will probably cost $40 for both parts. That’s insane!
I am okay with the higher armor costs in the shop since the armors are on rotation and will cycle back but would like to see weapons added as requisition slip purchases that are acquired like stratagems rather than super credits. As a player who has all the stratagems the requisition slips serve little purpose.
Players want the most bang for buck, for as little buck as possible. Seriously. $40 base, free way to earn premium currency, frequent dev communication. Surprise out of nowhere drops (illuminate, flying bugs, etc.) all that goodwill. All those comments of people saying, “the devs aren’t doing anything.” It’s funny how community opinion can sway so quickly.
Stupid outrage if you ask me. The amount of shit we have gotten for free ffs, you can get super credits IN GAME. What other dev does that. Chill out it’s a learning curve. I bought the killzone set because I love the game and want to support more
I agree that it’s a bit annoying considering how mush we’ve gotten for free, but it’s not the worst thing I’ve seen in a game like this. If it were anything like Overwatch which made you pay more for less, then I would be mad, but not here, this is tolerable for me
Is it stupid? Have you thought of the implication of this all? On top of that, the backlash would be gone if they just removed the FOMO from the store.
7:30 you state we should keep stratagems away from the superstore, and I agree. However, I would like to note, they have essentially done that with the previous two Warbonds. Both the Chemical Agents Warbond and Urban Legends have some very interesting, and most likely useful, stratagems contained within and to me, that is the same. I'm curious what your thoughts are on this, Cloud. In addition, you stated, several times, having to "top off your SC with a few quid" isn't that big of a deal. I believe it is. Having to do that for anything on the superstore goes against the whole model AH had from the beginning. Which was "You can get the in game currency by finding it while playing. It isn't necessary to buy SC from the store and it is more to let us know you support what we are doing and more of feedback." Never should that mentality change. I know Sony dictates exactly what they do and how they do it, but putting things like stratagems and weapons behind a paywall, either through Warbonds (in the case of stratagems) or superstore (both) is unacceptable.
honestly the cost for it is too high, some people dont have the time to grind the currency in for it and many may not be able to afford the 20 dollar purchase to buy the credits for it either, while i understand they need to get money somehow and they dont even have to give us super credits ingame like they do which is nice they need to find a way to offer people who cant put in that much time a way to earn more super credits without dumping large amounts of money into the game
Not only would weekly challenges make it easier for people to acquire Super Credits (if they're going to be adding weapons and unique armor passives to the shop, I think we're all gonna need it!) it would also add another thing to do ingame and wouldn't be very hard to implement compared to other types of content. It would be something simple but also add a other objective for Helldivers to complete, and with a reward like super credits (even if its just like 50 SC or something) it would be worthwhile and would probably keep their player count higher and for longer. Really hope Arrowhead implements this soon! For Super Earth!
I think 500 super credits for the whole lot is more then enough because 2000 super credits takes a long time to farm for since the patched the super credit farming method and the lucky 100 sc drop is extraordinary rare.
I completely understand the pricing. When you do collabs, both companies have to get a slice. you can earn the premium currency in game and it's actually REALLY fucking easy to farm it so the fact that you can do that at all for PREMIUM currency and do it so incredibly easy (though time consuming, even though it's not THAT much time) the only thing I don't like is that the armor has an exclusive passive that other armors don't have and tying specific weapons that are, for the most part just buffed weapons of the original in the game. I'd much rather the weapons/equiptment be something helldivers universe fitting and be a direct, unique mechanic exclusive to those weapons.
So my only issue with arrowheads choices atm are that they ignore reported bugs and never seem to fix big ones but add more content. Content is good, broken assets and broken things like getting locked into the ground are not good. They also need to make it so there are requisition point assets you can get cause I’ve been sitting at 50k for almost a year.
This wouldn’t be pay to win, more like pay for convenience. That should be distinguished but it’s not better. The super store should definitely be limited to armor sets like it was on launch. The capes getting added to the store were the start to a very slippery slope
No, I think the bigger problem is the FOMO. If you make something expensive, but people have infinite time to grind something in the game, it hurts a lot less and can be a pursuit over time, rather than having to push aside plans or other life issues just to grind out a ton of SC immediately. This also extends to weapons! Whether it's really powerful or relatively weak, what makes monetization ethical is the ease of forgetting that you can pay for it. If the Helghast rifle becomes OP, but anyone can earn free SC and just purchase it from the store, how "pay to win" is that really? "Pay to win" used to mean "power and progress ONLY attainable by paying." If you can earn free SC and buy a rifle, the same one people can pay for, the same one other people can earn free SC and also get...what's the problem?
Killzone crossover should have been a limited time warbond that is slightly more expensive, but I get not forcing people to also use medals. I havent bought anything but the AR looks like a direct upgrade to the Liberator, which still isn't that enticing. Armor is a jack of all trades, really only that useful if your squad is running all different elemental stuff, otherwise youre better off choosing a more specialized kit. For the sake of the game, any future crossovers should be purely cosmetic to avoid any inkling of P2W.
not really anything to add with regards to recent news, but something id like to see is some more weapon variety, yet thats at the bottom of my list. i want to be able to call down a hellpod with a crate/ case that we either carry like a shell or we two man box carry to make it faster, and these boxes will contain ammo and repair kits for vehicles and mechs. i love my suits and wheels, i just dont like how after 5 minutes i have to ditch something that costs probably more than i earn credits in an irl day
Perhaps they should of made it a warbond so it sticks around forever That or expand the shop so we have a area for stuff like this to be kept and be bought whenever you want
My solution, if the devs wanna make the price of things so high, bump up the super credit drop too more than 10 per point of interest? I know you can get double in the storage crates but still, I found 100 in a poi one time and I'm still not sure if it was a glitch or not
If you’ve gotta grind for gear doesn’t that ensure replays? Take your time and you’ll eventually get it. Not every armor needs to be claimed the day of debut.
While the price was steep, I still dropped 20$ on Super Credit and got all the Killzone stuff in the Superstore cause it looks awesome, The AR isn’t bad, and the armor looks great
LOL, hopped on this morning and Cloud laughed at me when I surmised this "premium" content was SONY forcing Arrowhead to inject crossovers into the game at comparatively insane prices. Never meet your heros folks.
Not sure if you have any direct lines to community members for Helldivers but a few suggestions I'd like out forward to them and some thoughts on the Super Store stuff for crossovers. 1.) I feel the same as you do, the price isn't something I care about too much, Super Credits can be attained freely. However, Arrowhead should 100% think about making a store front specifically for crossover items that features them once they've cycled out of the Super Store. This would alleviate FOMO and make any arguments regarding cost of these items irrelevant since at that point you are paying solely for quick access and allow people to buy the items later as they get Super Credits through gameplay. 2.) When these collabs run, announce them a few months ahead of time. This allows players ample time to save up and grind for Super Credits and if they don't make a place where you could permanently buy the collab items it would at least allow a large amount of the regular player base to attain these items. I'd had 2.5K Super Credits saved but decided to buy a couple war bonds literally days before this dropped. Knowing it was coming much earlier would have allowed me to wait and purchase these items instead with the Super Creds I had built up. 3.) Arrowhead could also make these items into a more expensive warbond if they really needed to charge a higher price. Make it a 2000-3000 SC warbond. This would allow the items to remain permanently available and likely add a lot more life to the game. A lot of the fun for me is collecting medals to complete warbonds. It's a constant goal to strive for. The game loses some of that fun aspect when I'm just playing to play and don't have something to spend medals on. Anything to add additional progression depth is really good for longevity and again I'm sure would still make oodles of money for them. 4.) Do events like double SC drop rates and the like for when missions are completed every now and again on weekends. This encourages people to hop in and earn those SC and can make things like a crossover event less infuriating for regular players. Realistically there are a lot of options for how to iron this out and make it more acceptable and reasonable for all parties involved. While I understand the continued need for funding on a live service game there is also some less predatory ways of ensuring everyone gets what they want/need. People should want to spend money on your game because it's good. They should not be forced to miss out on armor with unique perks and a couple unique weapons. This also wouldn't be as big of an issue if the armor didn't have a never before seen perk. 50% resistance to damage types is a pretty big deal.
I have often been incredibly critical of you, but I think you’re right. They should add a armor identical to it stat wise that looks pretty standard and then I wouldn’t see any issue with this.
It should been a mini warbond with slightly cheaper pricing, and little/no medal cost. That way if you want you don't have to wait for a superstore rotation.
The biggest issue for me right now is that I bought super credits and didnt receive them :) so I can only hope my ticket will get resolved before new stuff is gone just like my money.
The good thing about HD2 is that, you can take your time collecting/purchasing items with in-game SC, rather that time limit items like many other aggressive micro/macro transaction games out there that forces you to grind for hours within days/weeks making it rather toxic and tiring.
I agree with your take! The price isnt the problem, it's how the weapon will be balanced down the line. With that being said, the weapon is pretty meh, but the new Urban warfare armor perks solve each issue I have with the AR. We've been flushed with content after the dry spell, so I'm grateful to be playing the game I love.
I see no problem.. 1. Super credits can be earned 2.its not expensive 🤣 games literally charge $10 or more for a damn skin 3. It's a live service game , look at all the free updates the done unlike destiny 2 which there's a paywall behind everything.. I see no problem only the time limit it has in the store
I had 5000+ credits and I was desperate to spend them on something. But people moaning need to maybe get a reality check, this game has done so much and you can earn the currency in game. Even if you decide to pay, these devs have MORE than earned it.
if this becomes a trend then it will kill the game, one of the biggest selling points for some people is that warbonds can be earned in game and do not disappear overtime, it takes alot of time to earn 600 supercredits and most players only have enough time for 1 full mission a day sometimes more, add in that these items will be gone in a week from the store and it gets even worse, if it was a 2000 super credit warbond people would still be happy, if this becomes the trend no amount of new content will fix the player drop
It hurts me, because just a couple of days ago I was saying how I'm glad that skins are usually a lot cheaper in helldivers when compared to darktide, where it's usually 15-20 euros for a set, for just 1 class. And then arrowhead goes and does the same thing...... I also don't agree with Sham's statement, because they're already selling supercredits which already make a continues income after the initial game purchase as long as they keep making warbonds and extra armor sets. So charging 33% of a triple A game for a single set and gun is just nuts.
I would say the pricing for the crossover is slightly too expensive. With war bonds at 1000 credits, I would say crossovers should hover around the 1200 credit range. I would say the primary gun pricing needs to be around 400 credits instead of 615. I hope that they are not trying to set a new standard for pricing, because I think their pricing before this is perfect. I think a slight tweak of pricing for the next crossover should make the community more satisfied. Ofcorse all of the buying is optional which I do appriciate (we didn't have to pay for the illuminate expansion), however I do hope the devs are not trying to make us buy things for more content to come. Their financial backbone shouldn't be superstore items, but the warbonds. I have faith that they will listen to the community and make the proper adjustments. I will most likely not be purchasing anything from this crossover, but I will still continue to support game and keep on helldiving.
I don't have a problem with how they rolled out this crossover. I've never played Killzone and I'm usually hesitant on spending credits. I recently bought super creds for the first time cause I wanted immediate access the new war bond, not cause I needed to. You don't need to access these weapons or armor to enjoy the game. I think they can reduce the risk of selling PTW items as long as the stats closely mirror an already available item, acting more like a cosmetic alternative. In the case of the armor, I would be fine if they release a different one with slightly lower stats. While 5 days seems pretty brief to me, I would like to see them have a past crossovers event to have the chance incase you missed out.
I won't have the time to grind the credits to get the gun let alone the set within 5 days, and don't forget that they have a part 2 of the killzone collab afterwards. I wouldn't mind if the store wasn't some rotation FOMO money machine.
We've gotten so much free content since launch! Pretty sure people just want to be unhappy and complain at this point. Go farm if you don't want to pay! But Arrowhead have to survive at some point. After all it is a BUSINESS that's kind of how it works!
They made half a billion dollars from selling the game before any of the superstore stuff. The pricing has been creeping up over the last few warbonds and superstore stuff, so it's a bit on the nose.
A warbond is closer to 700sc when you factor in the 300 you get back from the warbond itself. So that one gun is just shy of a warbond all on its own. Also consider that since viper commando we've gotten fewer items per page on average and more filler. The price is far too high for what AH set as the value of 700sc.
I just think it's distasteful that they're putting an armor set and gun up for essentially $20. Regardless whether or not you can grind the currency out, they're basically saying this whole deal is worth 50% of a copy of Helldivers, which just doesn't sit well with me.
The issue that I have with the price is that this is only HALF of the crossover content. That's 1900 SC just for this and we still have another armor set and 2 weapons cape. That's literally the PRICE OF THE GAME I could understand $20 instead of the normal $10 for a warbond but $40, ans as someone who only has 2-3 hrs to play, spending all that time on lvl 2-4 missions solely to grind SC is not fun
Can people please start crying about the shocking lack of cross progression or even plans too add it, haven’t played in like 4 months just because I refuse too reput in 100’s of hours and rebuy all the shop armor s and warbonds I had
To your point about the issue actually being the weapon in the store, the fact it's a 5$ weapon, and it's only "mediocre", is also kinda egregious. If you're actually paying for it, it SHOULD BE GOOD. I expect that they will have to buff this weapon to justify it's existence IN the store, and they will also need to reduce the price/refund some for those who already bought it, because yeah, people are throwing a massive fit. Haven't tried the WASP yet, but it looks.... mediocre at best too... :S
it doesn't take much to look at this weapon and know its a liberator variant lol its good at what its used for but I wouldn't want the store to sell a weapon that's OP as that would be a bigger issue..... also i wouldn't expect a refund. if you expected to get a god teir weapon then that is a silly expectation personally

The crossover should have been a warbond, perhaps just a little more Like 1500 SC, they wouldn't have to make alterations to the store, which creates more boring work for the devs. Plus, it's too expensive for casual helldivers. I think a lot of people don't have the time for the grind and honestly grinding is so boring, I personally hate it.
was planned as a warbond i belive

Biggest problem I have with the collab cost is that the superstore prices have been inflating since the beginning of the game and this feels like the devs testing how far they can push their prices
Exactly! It will only get worse.

They need to make money to run a live service game ..

Yup sad what players have too do too actually get their voices heard nowadays
It's not exaggerating to say this stuff is overpriced and creates an unappealing precedent. You pay in reality 700 SC for a warbond (1000 SC but you get 300 back), that are charging you almost 1 warbonds worth of SC for just 1 gun. Yall act like it's a non issue some how
A warbond costs 1000 and has more, that's the problem for me.
@@technoviking2415then don't get it
I do think it's not as bad since you can get super credits in game but still I feel as though this should have been a war bond
I am completely fine with the crossover breaking the established pricing mold. Having a gun in the store is iffy but as long as its not overpowered then I dont overly mind. If for example they throw in intentionally under-powered weapons with cool or funny features that is fine with me.
ah i like this idea too! like a axe from DRG lol that would be cool lol
It's not just going to be the crossover stuff thats more expensive. All the superstore stuff is getting more and more expensive.
Don't be naive.
I think they could alleviate the Super Credits outrage thing if they gave us a monthly challenge where, if we succeed, we earn a couple hundred Super Credits.
that would be a great fix ngl
Introducing a new assault rifle and not having it be medium pen KILLED IT before it was even released.
Still slays the squids pretty well
@ its the principle of the matter in my opinion. You offer a special package give someone a reason to want it. Light armor pen is the cancer of assault rifles right now.
Cloud, the amount is a problem, and here's why;
This is page ONE of TWO with the next releasing in 5 days.
There is no paywall you can earn the weapon for free
What the hell do you mean behind a pay wall? As if they already have
@gamerbeast3616 you're missing the point, just because it's free doesn't mean people have time to farm for it in the 5 day window, which triggers known FOMO psychology
Especially considering you get 10 per pickup, you need more than 60 individual drops for just the gun, which is about 2 or 3 weeks of casual play
@@jimbothegymbro7086 No, there won't be fomo because it's on rotation forever

You know it's only a matter of time until stratagems and boosters are super store items too lol
@@johnnybgoode8104 yeah I can only play a few missions every day and I don’t find any super credits most of the time
Oh piss off with your bullshit
Dawg. It’s like 1900 super credits for the entire thing, I had enough to afford one helmet. People are complaining because they have a life outside the game.
Just lower the price. There’s no point in it being that expensive
You are an obvious sheeple Diver and it shows. Grind for 2 weeks for a damn armor? Get bent
The number of players playing bugs and bots while an Illuminate MO is going on shows the average IQ of this community...
My issue is price. That's an inch, we already have had another inch with stategems in store...... not against all of it but my red flags are rising.
I was thinking the same thing, like does he not realize the warbonds also cost money? Also I agree with your idea for the super store
@Cloudplay thank for the video 💯
My issue is that with the superstore crossover is that it doesn't give us enough time to grind for the pieces, especially after a new warbond JUST dropped.
You can easily farm the super credits also why are people complaining about a bundle in the store that costs as much as the Super citizen one but has more to offer? Lmao it’s Killzone it was obviously going to cost around 10 or 20 bucks
Hot take but the whole first page of the bundle is mid asf, hoping the next one in 5 days is better
Dont let sony treat us how Activision treats cod!
the worst part is that's a top teir armor IS HAS MULTIPLE VERY USEFUL RESISTANCES
weapons are a slippery slope and especially at those prices like that one gun is more than half the price of a 3 gun warbond
I feel bad for Arrowhead... The Illuminate drop was a massive win for them, but just like always Sony had to swoop in and throw their shit into the fan. This is absolutely, 100% Sony's greedy work
Sounds like everyone that is complaining about it, did not stick it out through the rough months of nerfs. Pay or play. We Helldibe around here

@reaper_exd7498 Thanks for not being a team player. We've got it from here.🫡
I think it always should be like this:
New thing drops. You don't want it? Don't buy then. You do want it? Then here are your 2 options:
- Play the game and get the same stuff for free
- Pay for SC if you want to support the devs a bit more
Regardless the situation, this "controversy" is hilarious, as the items stay for 5 days AND will likely return in some other rotation.
For me its definitely the price. A warbond costs 1000 and has more.
If they provide the armor buffs to another set later, no issues. The gun, lpwer the super cred cost to 350 and you can make that in a few days.
I bought the killzone set because I love the game and want to support more
The issue is that it was meant to be a warning but guessing don’t last minute said it should be super store exclusive, probably for more money
I agree that it’s a bit annoying considering how mush we’ve gotten for free, but it’s not the worst thing I’ve seen in a game like this. If it were anything like Overwatch which made you pay more for less, then I would be mad, but not here, this is tolerable for me
Sony is applying the "Concord Tax" to it's only successful game 😭😭
Is it stupid? Have you thought of the implication of this all?
On top of that, the backlash would be gone if they just removed the FOMO from the store.
@@shoulderpyroFOMO?
It isn't necessary to buy SC from the store and it is more to let us know you support what we are doing and more of feedback."
Never should that mentality change.
They did something massive?? ........ You know what else is massive....
YO MAMA
MY MOM!!
As usual, Arrowhead is Arrowhead's worst enemy
Maybe split crossover and regular rotation. Crossover a 1 to 3 month rotation and regular in regular rotation.
To get around pay to win problems. Add a transmog for weapons and armor.
Reduce all of the killzone stuff by 50-100 SC each and they could sell this much easier.
not really anything to add with regards to recent news, but something id like to see is some more weapon variety, yet thats at the bottom of my list. i want to be able to call down a hellpod with a crate/ case that we either carry like a shell or we two man box carry to make it faster, and these boxes will contain ammo and repair kits for vehicles and mechs. i love my suits and wheels, i just dont like how after 5 minutes i have to ditch something that costs probably more than i earn credits in an irl day
Perhaps they should of made it a warbond so it sticks around forever
That or expand the shop so we have a area for stuff like this to be kept and be bought whenever you want
While the price was steep, I still dropped 20$ on Super Credit and got all the Killzone stuff in the Superstore cause it looks awesome, The AR isn’t bad, and the armor looks great
The Concord tax has infiltrated the Super Store!
I agree with your "hot take". Aslong as the Super Store isn't OP or too expensive its fine.
1. Super credits can be earned
2.its not expensive 🤣 games literally charge $10 or more for a damn skin
I think the real issue is that the super store changes os quickly. You have no time to grind for the credits
I just saw a hilarious glitch, my squad's ride got blown up and it was just on fire doing doughnuts forever with nobody in it. 😂
Or if they made the set a permanent set avaliable in the super store, that way you take out the FOMO.
Regardless whether or not you can grind the currency out, they're basically saying this whole deal is worth 50% of a copy of Helldivers, which just doesn't sit well with me.
love killzone collab. would like to see a warhammer 40k collab in the future
