A “Noisy Cricket” style sidearm would actually be an awesome addition to the game. It emits a single, massive blast in a cone in front of you and launches you backwards. Could be useful for getting out of tight spots when you’re being swarmed.

The most wholesome thing to ever happen to me in this game was when suddenly someone level 25 just took me under their wing and guided me through the mission, no talking, we already know what must be done, we hugged in the game at the end and they were gone. if you ever read this I’m grateful for what you did who ever you are thank you

Oof. I joined shortly after the fall. When I heard that mechs were being deployed, I screamed sign me up. 10 levels away and doing level 4 missions to get there but it stinks how high the bug encounters are.

Favorite part of the video is 2:55 where the helldiver is more upset about the flag of Super Earth being crushed than him dying. Sums up the helldiver mentality perfectly
Also the super destroyers have their own names which I had to zoom in to read the other two
Best part is thats actually a line from an in game cutscene

I adore how most of the promotion for this game is community made, they made one official trailer while the rest was purely fans wanting to pull more people in.
The best way to advertise your game is to make one that people want to play

I love how it pictures that the Creek is just war and the bugs are just a friend group adventure. One side a bit tryhard but fun for those who love this style of gameplay while also aiming for a fun and collaborative arcade game. They really did a good multiplayer game!

The most realistic part IMO is the depiction of your entire team spamming for you to respawn them while you're fighting for your life against all the things that kill.

My favorite bit is how TerminalMontage so accurately depicted how I'd play in an online co-op squad in this game through the one guy who keeps dying at the beginning of every mission.
had one of those missions, I had changed my armor to something different so wasn't used to taking the extra damage, I could just not stay alive LOL.
Not 20 seconds in and I was already rolling. The Helldiver carressing the photo of the Eagle 500KG is funny on it's own, but the stealth reference to the Xmen cartoon series from 30 years ago? Chef's kiss.

Really love that Silemt Holl Reference at the end. Of you don't know, there was a secret ending in Silnet Hill where James Isnderland finds out ut was a dog controlling entire events of the game. He falls down on his knees the same way too
