Was best photoshoot ever made! Im so happy with the photos, you are a master Chris!
AMAZING! Your photographer eye for composition is so beautiful!
I also just ordered your presets can't wait
Found your channel after looking for 24mm G Master content because I've just ordered one but stuck around and checked this out. Really enjoyed it. I'm a professional fashion / commercial photographer but I find myself going back over and over to what I'm familiar with lense wise (55mm usually) so really interesting to see you working with this focal length, definitely going to incorporate that into my work. Subscribed. Thanks!
Great video and walkthrough. Got some great ideas from it. LOVED the ones at the end that capitalized on the reflection, mint!
Awesome video. Lovely couple and beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing your experience with the world, Chris.
Great content Chris!! I think I watched all your videos in a week lol love your style.
Love your work & videos Chris! Keep it up
Great video! The 24mm 1.4 is my go to lens for a lot of photos and video.
I love your photos dude! Another great job
LOVE this edit!! Gorgeous!!
I Would love to see a family shoot.
These images are awesome by the way
Love these behind the scenes videos where you layered the photos with the videos!
A body of water and a moody sky is pretty much my ideal setting. Fantastic images, really enjoy your channel.
Epic video dude!! Loving those grades, and also Alice bossing you around hahaha
Amazing as always. Bravo.
Man!! I love all your videos!
Stunning bro!! I have so much to learn from you!!
Chris and 24mm, always magic!
love this Chris ❤️
I just got my 24mm Gmaster & the first thing I did is take a photo of my desk chair & it looked amazing 😂😂
This is my favorite type of video you make!
Another amazing video 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great video as usual!
Bro the new talking head video look is TASTY! Love the catch lights and colors!
Thanks man. It’s the Godox SL60W
Do you think you can put the camera settings with the pictures? 😊 mostly want to see the aperture you’re using for each picture! Love the videos!!!
Great video dude!
Thanks bro
Fantastic!!
Glad I found your channel. Subscribed
Epic!
I REALLY LOVE YOUR SHOTS BRO MORE IN STORY 👏📸🔥
Great Video. 👏🏼😍😃
Nicely done
Do you shoot all your shots wide open more often than not or how do you usually manage your f stop? Thanks from a fellow danish wedding shooter for your work
Fantastic.
Hi Chris,
you say it's important to set the minimal shutter speed. So what are your settings at this shoot?
BTW: i just ordered your presets (1&") and they are great.
Greets from Germany
Really great photos as usual. I'm someone who always uses manual just out of habit -- why the choice to use aperture priority for a shoot like this? When would it be a good time to do so over manual?
I use aperture most of the time. I don’t think there’s many good times to use manual haha, I use manual when I’m using flash, that’s about it. I don’t see the point
I have the A7siii and my pictures are so unsharp. Do you think because of the 12MP? I dont know why :/
Hi Chris this 24mm allow you to make close up portrait pics or distorsion doesn t help?
This was refreshing to watch🔥. I just picked a sony a7iii and plan on paring it with this lens. I thought about getting a sigma 35mm 1.4 set up (same as my 80d set up before i picked up the a7) but this lens is too versatile to ignore. Maybe I missed it but what go pro do you have and the piece for the set up?
did you buy the 24 o 35? im trying to decide u.u
Man, love your channel. What setting do you use for autofocus?
Do you also wear the nisi black mist filter at weddings?
Today is my first time here please come back
Awesome photos Chris! When using mechanical shutter do you have electronic first curtain shutter on or off? I know that having it on reduces your bokeh but extends the life of your shutter and having it off causes more wear on the shutter. I know that on the a9’s you can use electronic shutter and have no worries but me having an a7iii with that problematic shutter it’s kinda different and have to rely on electronic first curtain shutter or having it on electronic shutter just to extend the life of it. 😅
It doesn’t noticeably reduce it, it’s barely noticeable at all and only in some very specific situations. I always use electronic front curtain.
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer Thanks 😁
The ND black mist filter that Chris uses... those dots on the filter, what is it? grain effect?
Do you use wide área Af? Eye autofocus? Flexible spot? Expand flexible spotm
thanks chris! btw what is the minimum ss you normaly set up your camra for?
1/250th
Hi which Nisi filter u used? Can u share the link? Thx
Hi Chris! Do you ever use silent shutters (esp with a9 series) or do you prefer to have the couple hear the shutter so they know when they're getting their picture taken?
I usually have it on electronic shutter with the A9’s but I still have the sound on
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer fair point, thank you!!
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer is there a reason you choose to have the sound on and do you do the same at weddings? I find the shutter noise can distract people from what they should be focusing on at weddings so normally shoot silently.
What are your settings when you have a couple walk towards you
Which NISI filter did u use?
hi chris! I have a question about wedding gear. Seeing your changes, is it better to buy 35 1.4 GM to pair with Sony 50 1.2 GM or 24 1.4 GM? :)
To me 35 and 50 doesn’t make sense. 24/50 does. 35/85 makes more sense
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer I used 35/85 before and 85 was too narrow for me. I replaced it with 50 1.2 and I have the impression that it bites me with my second body with the 35 1.4 GM on. And watching your videos, I'm thinking hard about replacing it with 24 1.4 GM. But I am afraid of distortion of people at the wedding
Sounds like you were using the mech shutter on the A9II. If so, why that over the electronic? What the A9 is for?
Just so you could hear it on the video
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer ah!
wow nice,
using mechanical shutter?
Do you sell your presets?
Great images! You must be like 7' tall, or the couple is really really short (like me) lol
Haha nah I’m only 6’1
Hi Chis. I love videos and style.
Where is this place Chris
I noticed most of these are in landscape is that just a composition thing
I don’t shoot in portrait unless there’s a good reason too, just my personal preference. Also with the 24mm distortion is more obvious in landscape.
What was your aperture on this shot? 8:45
