I've been considering trading in my 23 f2 for a while now for the f1.4 but every time I watch your videos it makes me want to stay with it. I'm sure I can't go wrong either way. Really enjoy your videos man keep 'em coming.
I know exactly how you feel. I’ve had a love hate relationship with the 23 f2 for a long time now. It seems like it might be a bit soft at the edges. Other than that however I’m very happy with it. I did just order the new 23 1.4 so we’ll see how that lens is.

Always enjoy your BTS stuff! Thanks for putting this one together. small side note: one of my pet peeves is when the groom comes with his phone/wallet in his pocket and it's visible 🤦♂️. When I first started out I didn't catch it until I'm culling but now my eyes go right to it at the start of the session. If that's the case, I just take it from them and put it in my shoulder bag.
I agree with that pet peeve. Even at the start of the session I missed him having huge phone bulge but later on you hear me tell him to move it. I gotta get better about catching it right at the beginning. But it's hands down the most annoying thing.
Another banger. Love the live view in add-in. I noticed your moving the focus point vs a back button hold and focus. Do you do the same for weddings when the scene pace is faster?

What aperture are you using with 23mm F2? The lens produces soft images wide open or at least on my copy.
I generally shoot it wide open. I RARELY stop down.
What lens is that 50 f/1.0 ? its amazing!
