With views and landscapes like that, no wonder the 24mm is your favourite!
This is pure gold for young photographers wanting to shoot weddings and being nervous about it. Big thumbs up. Your calm demeanor is great and your videos are always well produced :)
Im blown away that you get a whole hour for the bridal shoot. We don't do bridal parties in Chile. Even for the bride and groom portraits I don't get more than 20 minutes. It's crazy how different weddings are in other countries. Awesome photos, as always Chris.
Oh wow yeah an hour to hour and a half is pretty standard and then another 30 mins foe sunset
Love these videos, pretty sure I've binged every single one of them by now! Thanks for the awesome content, Chris!
I love! the idea of bringing snacks and music, you're so right, it should be fun! and what a fun way to make it chill and not feel like a job!! this is so smart! I just got your presets they're the best ive ever used!
Great work Chris! So jealous of the scenery ya'll got over there
Awesome photos Chris. Love this type of content, can’t wait for the next part! Cheers.
Wonderful ... this will become a classic on how to make a perfect wedding come true. Making, not only taking great pictures.
Happy I stumbled across this video. Just getting started myself. Awesome stuff man!!!
the color composition jsut woww
Great Video!! love the 24mm shots
Incredible footage Chris and beautiful wedding party! Thanks for sharing your process, its golden 🙏
Yeah they were super cool.
Love this style of video and learned a lot. Enjoyed the flow and the photos were amazing well done!
Hi Chris. Thanks for your video with really good tips to make photos more fun and natural. It’s what I want to add more in my wedding... thanks
Love these videos! Amazing photos and edits
So helpful! Really liking your content
Great work, very natural shots.
Beautiful photography !! 👏🏼👏🏼
Really awesome stuff, Chris!
Nice video, what colour profile settings u use for the video with the A7C?
Brilliant work👏🏿
This is incredible, really pushing me to get a unique look by getting a 24mm GM. I currently have a sigma 35mm 1.4 that I'm going to sell for it.
Same story, how has been your experience so far
i really like the color tones on your video, is it a preset lut, nice video,
great tips again!!!
Awesome video Chris, a refreshing change for me from watching all of Taylor Jackson's BTS's
Hahaha he’s got a lot of them. I imagine his videos would be super helpful also
Incredibly so, don't think I would've been as confident for my first photo gig if it wasn't for him, even having done wedding video before!
Hi, great video. WIll you do in the future comparison video between 35 gm, sigma f2 and sony 1.8? Thanks!
What a spot! I really would love to live on new zeland one day! At least you are able to shoot weddings at The moment.... In Poland - my country, we do not know if wedding season will start ...
Not sure why you haven't built a full course yet mate, would sell like hot cakes :)
what the lens in the other body ?
dang this 24mm just so good, the background involve in the picture just priceless
Hey Chris, awesome video! You make harsh sun look so easy haha! Any tips on getting the exposure right in harsh sun? I'm always freaking out about shadows over faces, under eyes etc.
Great content!
Loved this!
How do you approach your couples to be able to set the expectation of the golden hour shots?
Great video, thanks for behind the scenes. Do you and your second coordinate ahead of time who is shooting still/video? Do you do this on the fly? Thanks as always!
Priceless info 🌿
Hey Chris, love your vlogs. You mentioned in a recent one that you were planning to do a Flash set up vlog...wondered if you're planning to share this anytime soon, as keen to see :)
+1
I love that they are up for all this hiking, etc ! What camera harness are you using?
Look at the best person here. I like that one. I usually do what you said and get them to look at the bride or something. Nice twist.
Planning on getting this lens. Do you recommend any kind of polarized filter or UV will do?
I don’t use filters at all
Man that is so cool, love this video and calm demeanor. Is the A92 your main gear, and I ask because I am being asked to shoot a wedding in May. I have rented the CanonR5, A7R4 , but never the A92 and want to make sure I have good gear. I shoot more wildlife where I do some cropping due to distance from subjects/animals, and i shoot soccer and football both club and highschool. Trying to find best all around that can handle most all of this. Thoughts on those for portraits, wedding etc? I appreciate any guidance,
Any of them are fine for all of that really, A9ii easily has the best focus out of all of them, but the R4 is pretty damn close, R5 focus is good but it’s a little different how it works.
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer which would choose of those for BIF and or sports?
Having just moved to sony to an A9ii and A7r4 interested to see you have now added the 9ii to your kit bag, presume the 24mm was the A9ii and the 55 was the 7r4. do you think the A9ii will be your daily driver now over the R4?! I really like them both but the 9ii just has that utilitarian feel to it that it can do anything, like the 1dx2 I used to have. I want to like the R4 as much but its a slower process with that one, it was a toss-up either the R4 or the 7C as a companion to the 9ii...huge difference in them both but the evf and offset viewfinder like the fuji Xpro I used to hate !! left eye shooters should get a right-justified camera LOL
Very cool! Is your second shooter filming it? Or I guess the question is what did you use to film it? 😊
She is filming yeah, on an A7R3 and 24mm 1.4 also
And a Ronin RSC2 gimbal
Awesome thank you!
Which lut is for the video edit we see here? Thanks
Thanks for sharing. Good inspiration for my next wedding shoot! Which dual camera strap do you use?
My friend makes them, there’s a video a little way back on my channel of him making it
Thanks for another great video Chris! I've had 2 types of clients that are sometimes difficult - the stressed-out type (worrying about every detail) and the controlling type (they have a checklist of every photo they liked on Instagram - which doesn't always work for the client and the location). How do you deal with these type of clients?
Oh yeah I used to get those haha not so much these days, with the list of photos I specifically tell them when I first meet them (before they book) that I don’t take photo lists, I explain they are hiring me for my photos, they liked the ones on the website and they need to trust that I know what I’m doing.
I don’t get a lot of weddings where people just worry about every detail, I suspect NZ weddings aren’t as formal as the rest of the world, we are very chill and relaxed here, not that focused on “traditional” ways of doing things
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer It used to be pretty chill here in Australia too.
Cheers Chris, Chris 🤙
Did u edit this video with your video Lut?
Superb
Hey Chris ! What’s the best focus settings for a wedding ?
Not sure if there is a best one, but I mostly use real time tracking and back button AF
Hey Chris, Ive been enjoying the 24 GM so much since bought it. Just one question, there's a tiny sound coming out of my lens when I shake it gently. Sounds like something is loose. Does yours has this issue? Thank you!
Probably the focus mechanism. My 24 GM is the same, all lenses are.
Yeah it’s normal.
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer Thanks Chris!
Do you do apsc cropped a lot or just leave it at 24mm all the time?
24mm all the time
Man, it's good to know that there is someone on the opposite side of the globe that has GAS as bad as me! I am now trying to move into vintage lenses to rescue the wallet.
Make me regret selling my 24GM :( ... OMW to picking it up again lol
Natural light?
Yeah
@@ChrisTurnerPhotographer great work 🔥🔥🔥
I've never been first!
Chris I think the Sony A1 would be the perfect camera for you. Simplify your kit. I have the camera and it is the 🐐
Beautiful!
What aperture do you use with 24?
Mostly 1.4
