- PJ Kwong joins Tony to discuss the 2018 Grand Prix of Helsinki, the third of six stops in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. Among the skaters discussed are Stepanova/Bukin, Guignard/Fabbri, Yuzuru Hanyu, Michal Brezina, Zabiiako/Enbert, Alina Zagitova, and Kaori Sakamoto. Tony also discusses his view on the leniency of the technical panel in the ladies competition, and questions the single-camera method which the ISU uses to review jumps. Thanks as always for watching Skate Talk Online!

This is the first time I've watched this channel, and so far I'm liking the host's style. It's more educational, more in depth and there is no focus on gossip and only on skating. 👍👍👍
Lou M. That’s the goal! Thank you! :)
I'm beginning to like this channel a lot. Thank you and Ms. Kwong for sharing your insights on figure skating.
pamtol5 thank you and glad you enjoy it!
Thanks a lot. I think that your channel deserves a much bigger following. Hope to see PJ Kwong join you on a regular basis going forward...
Hehre Ideen thank you! This project is not even a month old yet, so we hope to grow throughout the season. PJ will join me throughout the remainder of the Grand Prix series! :)
@@TonyWheeler Good to know that. Will keep on watching your new videos. Thanks!
I totally agree with the pre-rotations. I also agree the technical panel needs to use multiple cameras. It wouldn't be too difficult for them to do. It would also make skating more fair.
Anfaney Gladwin they already have the resources in house, and they should take advantage of it!
Really hope to see Zagitova do well this year. She looked very stressed after the SP. even after her score came up five points ahead of #2. Worlds in Milan couldn’t have helped her confidence much.
The pressure that she has on her shoulders has to be insane. Here's to hoping she adjusts to being taller and is able to start showing the confidence that she had all last season.
Kaori also had a bad fall during the warm up and hit her head before the short program, which probably had something to do with it -- if only she'd gone for the double not the triple :(((( I love her! love your channel and how respectful you are with skaters/skating! pj is the best!!:D
I really like your channel, you're much more down to earth than some other channels. Some of them can be sort of condescending, I hate to say that, but..... anyway 👍👍👍👍
Evelynwashere 1 thank you. I don’t see the point of being condescending- everyone is working hard and there is so much to love about the sport.
Hi I found your channel today. Great review! Subscribed and 👍 from me :)
