"I do not believe that you can lose your salvation once you really have it, though if it were possible, it would be because you lost the pins to a Yamaha carburetor." That's maybe the most eloquent, emotional, Boyd Crowder-esque perfect sentence ever uttered by a southern gentleman. Bravo.
Excellent! Very informative. I was either smiling or outright laughing all the way. In my 70’s, I’ve had ample time to have experienced every fail/mistake screwup you mentioned, and more! Why don’t we learn?😂
Ok, perfect take down with great info and love the humor. For that exact Mikuni carb, where do we find a replacement needle or overhaul kit for this carb? I dare not attempt the part number for this carb but its something close to Jxx-14101-0x with the vent tube. I know the Mikuni is good so if i can just find the kit or needle, what do you suggest for tracking these parts down?
We replaced the carb with a new one 2 yrs ago. It's been sitting since then. New battery and I was booking. After 3 days smoke was blowing. Fuel in the oil. I just took it apart after sitting 2 weeks. No fuel in bowl but lots of yellowish white powder. It's coated everything with plenty left to poor out. Why would a new carb bowl be full of powder??
Wondering if you recommend setting up these engines to idle? My G16 dies too easily unless I feather the gas pedal. Appreciate your input and the helpful videos!
Carb is probably flooding. It allows raw fuel to enter crankcase. The excess fuel and oil has to go somewhere, and that's usually the air box. Drain oil and see if it's not thinned out and/or smelling like fuel. A new carb will fix that.
@@mikereeves8905 I'm certain that if you'll replace your carburetor you'll be back in business. You do need to change air filter if it's been soaked with oil/gas

Ethenol gas is what causes that

Even with new carb and fuel?
Great video!
So I’m referring to the carb drainage, obviously not tighten that screw or needle to the drain ?
Those air box nuts from the carburetor, where's Harry Potter when you need him.
Lol, I'd even take his buddy!!
Thank you, very helpful
Yes sir!!
