Well, why can't people who claim to have a personal relationship with Jesus agree on what he wants and what he's like?
Well, there's an answer to that question that is obvious to most of us.

And yes, it's just me. Seven characters was a stretch, but I use a mixing program with a pitch-changing feature. Just thought I'd clear that up coz I keep getting comments addressed to "you guys" or specifically "the guy with the low voice" etc.

He knows the old laws, but he doesn't say anything DIRECTLY about homosexuality.
If you are implying that jesus was against gays because of the old laws then he was also pro-slavery and he actually does directly talk about slaves obeying their master.
I'm not saying that jesus was for or against homosexuals its just he never said anything about it. But christians are there saying he did say something about homosexuals when in reality he sad more about slaves than gays, which Christians are quick to deny.

It's not about good works of the person, like donating to a charity, but rather letting having a friendship with God and letting him work in the person, which produces fruit. The 'fruit' comes from knowing the King.

you actually say it until you believe it, then once you believe it, it makes you feel special. It takes a long time after that to realize that you don't really need an imaginary friend to feel special about yourself. Religion has stalled the advancement of mankind for centuries.
It certainly redefines both the words "personal" and "relationship". If all the Christians who claim to talk to Jesus on a regular basis really had the ability to ask Jesus questions and receive answers, New Testament scholars would be all over them like a rash! They have hundreds of questions about Jesus they would love to get answered. For some reason they don't seem to consider these millions of people with a "personal relationship with Jesus" good sources for basic information about Jesus. Not even Christian scholars seem to be interested in what these supposed close friends of Jesus have to say after their many conversations with him. Isn't that curious?
How hard would it be to ask 10 Christians to ask Jesus a few basic questions the next time they "talk to Jesus" and then compare their answers? Like "how many siblings did you have and what were their names?" Simple questions with unambiguous answers.

What I don't get is why God doesn't use volcanoes to kill nonbelievers here in the Midwestern states...he only kills nonbelievers who reside on or along the ring of fire in this way. I think you might be on to something there. LOL
No! hook them up to an FMRI, and ask them to talk to Jesus. If any of them truly did have a relationship in the way they think they do, you would see two different brainwave patterns in one brain. Sure the presence of that second pattern is more likely a sign of dissociative identity disorder, or, some other mental disorder, but its absence, which would be far more prevalent, would be definitive evidence of the null hypothesis in those cases.

I remember when I was a young lad I used to think there was a god that loved me and I was special in his own eyes. I was told that we could speak with god and seek guidance. I never once received the slightest revelation, guidance or any evidence he was there. How I'm not a lunatic so I didn't hear any god so I knew it was just an idea in my head. And just like an imaginary, kids grow out of it, unless your schizophrenic. I knew that it is ridiculous to think my version of god, out of 4000+ other versions is correct. Theism really is stupid. Some people just can't let go however. They can't let go of that childhood idea that they depend on so much. They rely on "god" for mental strength and morality. Any atheist is one who is mentally strong and morally sound by them self. They don't need a "god" or a book for this. Religion was created by man.
