It's incredible, since in Italy there are at least 1000 Panicales, an incredible synthesis of beauty. When you are in one of these little jewels, every time you feel like you have discovered the essence of the preservation of history and its magic.
Marco! I made the mistake of watching this as I was thinking of what I could grab to eat. Needless to say, anything that I had in mind paled in comparison to what I witnessed you eat in Italy! When you described the secondo family dish as "like eating a holiday", I felt that, particularly having the honor of meeting "grandma" who invented the dish. Just magnificent. Both homes, incredibly priced, offer inviting, historical havens for a lifetime of memories. Terrific finds. Grazie, Marco! Huge thumbs up as always. P.S. I decided on 'pizza a la North America' but it just doesn't do it for me anymore. lol.
Marco, great haircut, and what a solid video with 2 impeccably priced homes. I was just on Google Maps looking at airport access from this small medieval town. I like the niche market you are carving out for yourself as we follow 3 other agencies promoting italian properties. Wanted to tell you that your storytelling, edits, and drone footage is spectacular. Your unique value prop with local cuisine is a hit and the general flow of each video also gets 8.5 out of 10. We're cheering for you from Ottawa, Canada. We'll be skiing in the dolomiti in January and following each one of your upcoming posts. You inspire!
Love the Peppino music in the background! Your tours include a very experienced selection of things to point out and things not to spend time on. Benissime scelte. Thanks as usual!
These are very well made videos. Both of my grandparents were born in Umbria. I know the region very, very well. I have lived there, worked there and visited Umbria for the past 50 years. It has really changed in that time. When I was a child it was a ‘backwater’. Even the area around Assisi and Perugia was undeveloped. There are still some more rural and less touristy parts, especially in the south of Umbria around the val Tiberina.
You make things so difficult! I was sure I couldn't want to live anywhere north of Puglia. Panicale is where one of my favorite TV shows is set. Signora Volpe is what its called.
Puglia has a lower cost of living, tax incentives to buy, restore and to retire there, and will grant you a retirement residence visa without having to be an EU citizen. It’s obviously warmer and more Mediterranean. It’s a poorer region though and further away from the centre and from the rest of Europe.
Wow Marco, your baby blues where popping wearing that blue sweater! Never noticed after all this time! lol. Great properties & that food was drool worthy as usual! Cheers Kirk
Ciao, Marco! Yours has become my family’s favorite channel. We’re talking about getting a summer property in Italy and we love your videos; especially your Puglia content. Would soooo love to see something in Polignano a Mare!
Amazing values in Umbria. About 60 minutes away in Castelnuovo berardenga is where I had a 65 m² apartment in an old farmhouse on the property. It had access to a community pool with about eight apartments. It was on an old farm road that could be challenging. In any case, the first property was an incredible value.
both houses look great value but the first one in country side is great. also the food was amazing. I had not heard of pici before but actually decided to make some. I am sure mine was not as good but still great
You called that kitchen in the cantina "another kitchen." Are you counting the pizza oven as a kitchen? I kept going back and did not see one on what you called the ground floor. I really like both of these places and the prices are really good for Umbria. Since I have always been a city mouse, I'd pick the in town apartment if I could buy one. I wish you'd stop showing your food. There is absolutely no way I can get anything like that over here and so it is just frustrating to see it. 😂😅😂😅 I am part Italian but have never had any connection to that part of my family.😢 Ciao, A presto!

depending on the place, the original build was likely for multi-family dwellings, and then in the casale (farmhouses), the bottom floor was oftentimes for livestock, which makes for a nice big space to convert to a living room and kitchen.
There is little job opportunities in the villages. People move to large cities. Also less services..takes longer to commute because most of the villages are in the mountains
Ohhhh....I'm crying over here! I can't even watch anymore. The fresh bread and olive oils has my stomach very unhappy with the continent & gmo country i "live" in...😭🥱😭😫😭😫
I love this channel because show the Historical parts, churches, castels etc then the food, and then the stunning properties, well done Marco.

This is so true.
Aye I would have to also buy the left side of the first property, I couldn't be sandwiched in between two homes.
Panicale! One of our favorite villages. We discovered it this past Spring. It’s a living labyrinth ❤

Absolutely love the bonus house ❤.
Hey Marco I would love it if you put out a cookbook about the lovely meals you treat us to around the country.
Love the Peppino music in the background! Your tours include a very experienced selection of things to point out and things not to spend time on. Benissime scelte. Thanks as usual!
I have heard of this town - there is a tv series filmed there called "Signore Volpe". Thanks for the home tours.

Your vlogs are fabulous! Grazie mille

FINALLY!
I had dinner, so I can Almost Stand to watch you eat these Incredible Dishes!!! 🤞
2 beautiful properties, full of Umbrian charm.
Wow Marco, your baby blues where popping wearing that blue sweater! Never noticed after all this time! lol. Great properties & that food was drool worthy as usual! Cheers Kirk
Lovely! The first home only has one kitchen in the basement, but other than the impractical layout, it is gorgeous.
I had heard of it actually - because of the painter Masolino da Panicale!
That 2nd house won't be on the market for very long. Beautiful and just perfect!
I was just there two weeks ago. Incantante!

A village to put on my list to visit. The views from this medieval town are magical. What a beautiful casale! 😍
We are heading to our home in Fabro next week and now after watching this we must stop by Panicale and have lunch at the restaurant you featured 👩🏻🍳
Love both options, amazing finds
Another great tour, Marco. House 1 is definitely up my alley.
I just felt in love with this charming warm house, i don't know if the location is good or no, but 238k isn't enough for this jewel!
Thanks Marco!!

We love to learn all the time. Thank you.
Great job. Good use of the drone shots. Grazie.
Beautiful Casale!!
Wao! You're doing an amazing job with this channel. Outstanding!
"A thumbs up has been given Beautiful!"👌🏼
Grazie Marco! Beautiful homes in a beautiful place. Ciao.
Lovely presentation! Post more please 😬
More videos on the way 😁
Love your videos. The music is perfetto!
Grazie!
That meal looks extraordinary
It was out of this world
8:54 La nonna!!! Ma che bonta' di persona!!!
Speechless......again.....❤❤❤
Just discovered a special type of high-quality cashmere made only in Panicale of Umbria. Let’s go…!
Great homes. who own the other half of the first house? it looks vacant.
Most likely the owner of the olive grove…
Beautiful ❤wow 😮

that kitchen or the space the kitchen is in is called a "flying freehold" in english 🙂
Love your videos

Chuck in Northern New England
I was full at the tomato and burrata
The soil seems particularly rich in this region
Grazie mille
Gorgeous
Just found your channel, and I love it!
I’m only a few minutes in, but I do have a question. The town looks deserted. Where are all the people?
Love house #2 but it’s too expensive, also no outdoor space.
I love you image quality, what camera do you use?
But what did grandma use to stuff the fowl???
Labella figura oggi Marco nel blu. I don"t speak Italian, but I tried. Blue is your color.
Does the first house have 2 kitchens? You mentioned "another" kitchen in the basement
There's usually a kitchenette in the cantina. For making jams, pickling etc.
Where is the main kitchen??
Looooooooovvvvvveeeee❤
Have you gone to Trentino?
La prima casa e troppo bella pero che cosa e la casa attaccata?saluti
On the first house, 2 kitchens? Where?
I’m sure the floorplans of these homes made sense at one time? They’re pretty eclectic by today’s standards.
depending on the place, the original build was likely for multi-family dwellings, and then in the casale (farmhouses), the bottom floor was oftentimes for livestock, which makes for a nice big space to convert to a living room and kitchen.

First 😆
I'll go for the 20k euro house shown on other channels and paint it myself. These are too rich for my blood
Ohhhh....I'm crying over here!
I can't even watch anymore.

Had to fast forward to the homes for sale!
