Hi Marco, your videos are getting better n better. Congrats for staying true to your style, by showing us so much of the cultural angle that is so unique to southern Italy. Now we even got opera music. Legendary. Oh, and the houses are great, too. Keep up the fab work. Grazie mille.
Nice! Maybe you can make a video one day about then ten most bicycle friendly places in (southern) Italy? It may also bring other viewres to your channel. Anyway, it's just a thought. Thanks for another video!
@@Justdreamitaly Cool. 1) I think Bari also has bicycle routes in the town 2) There is a big bike route in southern i.e. the Italy Ciclovia Adriatica (Adriatic Cycle Route) from Bari to Lecce? Having a house close to that route is also a plus for cyclists.
I would love to live by the sea. Gorgeous place. I always love your videos. You have a very soothing voice. Thank you again for these beautiful properties. Ciao
Fantastic photography. Skilled beautiful landscape compositions. Enjoy your videos immensely. Hope you can do more videos on Calabria near Scalea. 20:43
Haven't seen the second one yet but I really like the first I can see myself living on that upper level and renting out the bottom or redoing it into a small writing studio for myself. Addendum definitely the first for me.. Loved the location of the second however I really loved all the decor that was done to the first... lastly you can't beat all the private terraces.
Wow, what a unique primary bath on that first property! I've never seen a layout like that, and it utilizes the available space very well while letting the natural light come through.
So many real estate videos show homes that are isolated communities and require a car. I love that you say the best way to get around is by bicycle. One of the things I've loved about visiting Europe is not needing a car (for the most part). My bike touring experiences have been wonderful. I'm looking forward to retirement and finding a place to establish residency in Italy. Puglia is magical.
I am seriously hoping to move to Puglia, and hopefully the southern Salento, but I don’t want to have to have a car and the buses seem to only run for 3 months in the summer and the train stations are run-down desolate places. I would love a mini version of that first apartment.
The first house is absolutely STUNNING! And so beautifully laid out and furnished! It’s absolutely perfection to me. 🤩 Can I ask what kind of cost would we be looking at to heat and cool a place like this? The ceilings are so high, it seems the cost would be high?
That water & how clear it is, wow! Great places Marco, you seem to be getting into a groove w/the videos. It’s shows in quality & enthusiasm! Love it! Cheers Kirk
As much as I would love to live on the sea like the second apartment, which I think is alright, I absolutely love that first apartment. They really did a good job on it.
Thank you so much for the video topic. I'd love to see one just like it with more affordable homes (in the same places and others nearby, if possible). Love your videos!
i really enjoy all your videos (as someone in the process of purchasing in southern italy herself), but this was one of my favorites. such impressive and unique homes!
Great video as always! Remember that to qualify for the 7% flat tax in Italy, you'll have to live in a town with under 20k population. Nardo has over 30,000, so no go for the 7% tax. The nearby commune's of Galatone, Sannicola, or Porto Cesario will do!
Love the videos. Please include the sounds when at the properties for us to get a real feel of them. The voice overs are fine but would have loved to hear the water when u were walking the stairs to the water.
We loved Nardo!! Spent summer there last year-definitely under the radar place to visit in Italy! Beautiful video as always thank you for your insight!! 😊
i love your videos. It is not a dilemma. Centro and seaside is an entirely different lifestyle so one should know which one he/she wants to live. Great video as always, grazie
Videos are fantastic. Question: Could you show some properties in towns in Italy that qualify for the 7% tax program? It think in certain provinces with less than 20k inhabitants--
loving the first apartment, clever washroom design.. do you know who the architecture or design firm was ? I assume its sold > planning a summer travel to look at real estate.
Man beautiful and friendly people, delicious food. Oh yeah I can leave in this area - are there any country side houses. Looking for something close to the ocean, but more in the country side.
Could you add how one would get to these locations, from closest major airport, train, and bus times? Everytime I see a town I like I have to do some searching to figure out how we would travel to and from twice a year. Just thought if you could start throwing that in there it would help! Thank you!
Hello from Alberta Canada. We dream of the day we can return to Italy and maybe even purchase a property there. I have often said we will buy e-bikes instead of a vehicle. It just makes sense to us. I was about to enter the contest but sadly we live in Canada and do not qualify 😢. This is the first video I’ve seen on using an e-bike there. Great idea! I enjoy the photography on your channel and of course the properties.❤
I love this first home but it's too big. If you could also include smaller places that would be good. As long as I can grow some vegetables somewhere, even on a balcony.
Ok question: I see you holding what I assume is a selfie stick while riding, but how is it that I don't see the rod? .. ps love ebike idea to get around too. In the past I was leaning towards an electric skateboard or maybe even a board with handlebars, I could fold into a backpack, but the ebike is more convenient - Great post!
360 degree cameras like Panox V2, Insta 360, and others (Kandoo) with their selfie-sticks automatically delete the selfie stick in their videos, the video can be published as 360 degree video on platforms like DeoVR or published on UA-cam as normal video
Love your videos and interested in getting a home there, but can not seen to get an answer to the question of whether or not purchasing a home there automatically makes you a tax resident of Italy? Any input appreciated .
I have watched a few of your videos which are really well done. But there is not one property I would consider buying. They are all pretty awful when one thinks of all the beautiful property there is to be had in Italy. What I miss most is greenery. There is no nature and most of the properties look like boxes. I would be very unhappy living in any one of them.
That is VERY HARSH the properties are definitely not Awful !!!!! And by the way, if you don't like the sea or homes in this area, maybe you should go and find another place to watch videos in Tuscany or Umbria. Obviously You're unhappy so why don't you just move along instead of being rude?
@@kathifailor4660 I live in Europe. Maybe for somebody coming from America, these properties might have a certain exotic or romantic charm. If you live over here, they become run of the mill. Nothing charming here for europeans with a good income bracket. It’s just a sales pitch to those in America thinking the grass might be greener. And as an aside, I have a right to voice my opinion too.
The first home is very interesting.
Your production keeps getting better. Thanks for the video
Yes more rural and seaside properties would be great please.
These two are lovely. Thank you.

I come for the pastries. I stay for the nice homes.
Hahhaa :,-))
I come, for the pasteries.
I stay,... for the cheese. ;-/
You stole the words right out of my mouth. I like Italy. But really, I just want to hang out with Marco and see what we are eating today.
Wow if the first property had the second ocean view would’ve been the perfect perfect place to buy! Thank you for the great job.
Thanks for keeping the narrative specifically on the property when showing the homes. Your vocabulary and terminology is perfect.
I love your intros, especially today's with a bike! Lovely shots of the goodies in italian southern cities, so light filled.

Heading into that area this summer
Love the outdoor living of the first property.

I love both properties for different reasons ❤. Thank you for sharing.
It would be so cool to tour some of those huge old mansions you drove past. I bet they’re stunning inside.
I was thinking the same thing 😁…
I love the map feature you’ve incorporated! It’s so helpful, and also interesting!
Wow, what a unique primary bath on that first property! I've never seen a layout like that, and it utilizes the available space very well while letting the natural light come through.
It’s crazy to me that you have such good production values for such a small channel.
Beautiful homes 🏡!!❤
Both are just incredible properties! Thank you!

Love the map of you going through the city on the bike
I like the one with the star vaulted ceilings. It was beautiful too bad that one is not by the sea.
I absolutely loved Nardo on my trip to Italy. I wish I could live in the historic centre.
Hmmm. Thank you for sharing the video. After seeing modernity, I guess I prefer antiquity!

the sliding ladder (to access the mezzanine above) at 6:59 is very clever. I hope everyone did a double-take on that like I did
Grazie da Texas come sempre. 260km on a charge - questa è stata mia domanda.
Love the new episode. Are you a resident of Nardo as it gets featured so often?
Nice houses, but I would prefer to see more places around the €100-150k range, fully renovated!
If you want to be near the sea the prices of homes are more money so idk
Wonderful video!! Well done!
Beautiful! Also would love to see properties in the Italian alps.

Exactly, I use a 360 degree camera with an 'invisible selfie stick' for this type of shot. Specifically the insta360 one R.
Do you have a link to the first property? Very interested.
