  • Taken from The Cosby Show, Cheers, Night Court and Hill Street Blues, all airing on NBC affiliate WNYT (channel 13) in Albany, NY. This is another reupload of sorts; I had most of these commercials in a previous upload, but again, wanted to have better quality.
Also the last upload did have commercials from Family Ties, and not the other three shows. This one had more commercials, so I chose to upload this in its place. I plan to continue my reupload series in a few weeks with the WTEN Liberty Weekend commercials, until then I have some Thanksgiving-themed ones coming up!
    (C) 1986 Viacom, now part of Paramount Global; WNYT is now owned by Hubbard Broadcasting. All rights go to their respective owners, same for the advertisements. For educational and historical purposes only. We don't profit off this video.

A tease for WNYT's 11pm news, which was at the time branded as "The 30 Minute News" (since 1984), is seen with the late Ed Dague at the very end of this video.

These commercials were recorded the same time FOX (the fourth television network at the time) made it's first sign on launch.

WXXA was one of the first non-O&O stations to sign with the network.

@@junkiestapebin7368 I didn't know that, oh, and speaking of station ownerships, I had no idea Viacom (in the pre-Paramount era) owned WNYT at that point.

If you have anything from WDAU Ch 22 Scranton, can you please post them. It was before it became WYOU by 1986.
