I used to watch (Another World) on SOAPnet, They only aired I believe July 1987 to 1991 and then took it off for garbage programs, but after 1989 I stopped, they didn't air the bumpers which aggravated me, but one time they did show one from 1988 going into the second break.
Some of those commercials are commercials I remember watching when I was a baby. The earliest commercials I saw. When I think of depend I always think of June Allyson!
Wow we have a lot in common! The Days of our Lives opening did as well. The creepy chimes (doo-doo-doo-doo) along with MacDonald Carey's voice. It sounded awfully strict.
@@jwgreek8606 what was creepy about Days of Our Lives in the late 80s...I know this sounds weird but it did creepy me out. All the men who had 80s big hair, sideburns and mullets...I mean I was a kid, at that time. I don't know why they all look so sinster with their look. Then Joe Mascolo who played Stefano DiMera was just a scary person. He chasing someone with a gun. I watched Days in the 90s and he wasn't so scary but those 30 second clips of him up the 80s were just horrible. Santa Barbara their clips, and music had the elements of fear. I don't know how Another World wasn't on the fear factor list. Both of my grandmother's watched Young- Restless. It was just that my local NBC affiliate had great sitcom reruns at 4pm and got the tail end of Santa Barbara, and saw a Days of Our Lives tease before Different Strokes, reruns...lol
