It’s not that the bay was shaved, it was in an accident. That is the body shop straightening out the damage. The body filler was used to further cover up the damage. You put in some mad work on that bay, my man. It came out looking great!
Hi Scott, I did suspect that, so I checked under the area with the welds and you can see the holes they closed, I did find a bend in the support running down in the centre of the rad support, but nothing else indicating previous damage, even checked the wheel arched and firewall inside the car where frame rails join for damage. but the engine bay was painted a flake metallic green and then white twice, poor quality jobs. the green is why I suspect they attempted to shave the engine bay as it was over the body work.
